• There general appearance was great.
• Airport noise.

“The airport was across the street the noise on occasion was annoying, but they supplied earplugs for sleeping. I always use earplugs and it was a nice touch. The bill for extras was dead on.”

• The grandeur of it. Just beautiful along with everything and everyone!
• You had to pay for a refrigerator.

“I highly recommend this hotel, extremely good location, all of this for a Priceline deal. I have nothing bad to say about it. It was perfect for me and my girlfriend celebrating our 42 years of friendship.”

“When we arrived on Friday night August 14th the hotel was hosting some sort of Fright Fest and there were a ton of interesting people dressed up in Halloween like costumes roaming around the hotel. The more the night went on the louder these people got in the Hallways throughout the night. At about 12 am we were awakened by the fire alarm and ended up standing in the parking lot for 30 minutes and found out the smoke machine from the Fright Fest set the fire alarm off. We had no time to grab our hotel room keys so we had to wait to get new keys and when we did finally get back in our room there were loud people in the hallways for the next hour. All of this was not appreciated when I had to get up at 5 am to catch a flight. All around terrible experience!”

• Restaurant food was disappointing.

“Very close to the airport so super convenient for next day departure. Well insulated against airport noise. This place is huge! The room was nice, bed good. The pool looked inviting but we didn't have a chance to use it. The restaurant food was not great (but not terrible either) and there is no pkace else to eat within walking distance.”

• I liked the convenience to the interstate and the downtown Louisville attractions.
• The hotel was in an unattractive location as far as the backdrop.

• The room was really nice, clean and beautifully decorated.
• Due to the proximity of the room to the lobby we could hear voices frequently.

“Overall, the hotel was excellent. We had stayed there a few years ago and was afraid it would be the same, much to our surprise, the hotel had gone through a complete makeover everything was new, clean and beautiful.”

• Very convenient to the fairgrounds.
• Everything was under construction.

“Maybe it will be better after renovation. But while we were there, there was nothing for our 15 year old to do to occupy his time. He was counting on the pool and arcade room.”

• We enjoyed the decoration and style of hotel.
• Pool was closed for remodeling and that was half the reason we wanted to stay.

• This hotel was excellent for the price!
• If I have to find a negative, there was a strong smell on the elevator - cleaning solution, etc.

“A very nice hotel with a superb staff. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The restaurant food was delicious. I plan to stay here again on return trips to Louisville. It was very convenient to the airport and to downtown Louisville.”

• Great location to the Fair/Expo Center.
• Lobby and restaurant need updated, room was good.

“Very convenient to the Fair/Expo center. Rooms were nice, clean, nice bedding. Lobby, pool area and overall appearance of hotel needed updating. I would still recommend staying there, especially for the location.”

• Desk staff was very friendly.
• The bar. Drinks were way overpriced, service was not great.

“We have stayed here before and they have done some good re-work to the hotel. The staff was very friendly, location is great, and the room was very good. The breakfast staff was excellent and the food was also quite good.”

• Awesome value, proximity to airport, friendly staff, clean.
• Look is outdated. Needs some new decor. Mechanicals need refreshed.

“Excellent hotel for a family trip to Kentucky Kingdom. Excellent hotel for an early flight form the airport. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable beds.”

• The staff was very service oriented and friendly. They made our stay very pleasant.

• The hotel was great I love it all!

“I and my in-laws got to stay here because the American legion was holding a convention there. The bell hop was on the roll he carried two cars worth of food and suitcases and stuff. The lady at the check in desks was very friendly and she helped us get our rooms. The rooms were great very nice and roomy. And when ever we needed something the people at executive west took no time at all to help us.”

“We left a bag of clothes in the closet. When we returned home we called to try to retrieve them. They boxed them up and sent them COD (of course) and we had them two days later. This is more excellent service in my opinion.”

• The service was great. Anything we needed the room service got it.
• Nothing to complain about. I had a great time.

“I and my in-laws stayed at this hotel because the American legion was having a state convention there. When we got there the bellhop came right away to get our suit cases. He even carried two car loads of stuff. The lady at the check in desk was very friendly. Even if all they had ready was one of our three rooms. She still helped us. The rooms were really roomy and clean it had everything. And they have a pool for all year around swimming. I will come here again that¿s why I gave it a 10.”

• The service was wonderful. and very friendly.
• Well I cant complain the whole hotel was wonderful.

“ When we got there the bellhop was right on the ball. he even carried in two car load worth of stuff. The lady at the check in was nice. even though 1 of our three rooms were ready she still helped us. The rooms were very clean. I love the beds. They were two feet from the floor and you had everything that you have in hotels. the restaurant was great good food. and the swimming pool was fun my little girl went swimming in it. We had a great time at the executive west we will surly be back.”

• The gift shop.
• Airplane noise.

“It's been a long time since I stayed at this hotel. However, I remember it as very beautiful, not all commercialized like most hotels, today. Since I was a little kid, I loved the gift shop. I also remember liking the restaurant. The pool was wonderful! Gorgeous. I also liked the fact that there was a little sink separate from the bathroom. The airplanes were a little loud, though. Overall, a wonderful, beautiful hotel.”

“Executive West is a very nice hotel. I'm sure upon completion to the renovation, the hotel can be upgraded back to the four star hotel that it once used to be.”
