• Staff was very friendly and nice/ rooms clean and comfy.
• The breakfast buffet leaves a lot to be desired, the food was poor quality/ served and prepared well but poor in quality.

“The hotel and staff very friendly and helpful. there is not an elevator which can make getting to your room on the second floor annoying if traveling with several bags and/or more than one cold. I had a 4 yr old and a newborn, the stroller up the stairs was a challenge. Will stay here again but only in a first floor room.”

• The pool and hot tub were being renovated therefore we could not use.

“There was alot of construction going on and there were power tools being used by 7:00 am. Unfortunately we could not use the indoor pool or the hot tub due to renovation.”

• Beds are very hard.

• Nice room and good breakfast.
• The most uncomfortable hard bed I've ever slept on.

“This hotel was nice overall but the bed was terribly hard and uncomfortable. I did not get a good night's sleep because of it. The manager did say they are going to replace the beds, but as of my stay in August 08, it wasn't soon enough. I would not recommend this hotel just for this reason. If they would replace the mattresses with better ones, then I would have no complaints.”

• I could open the window and it looked out onto a courtyard. Loved that about our room.
• Would have liked the window to be bigger.

“The hotel exceeded our expectations. It was conveniently located to our relatives and was everything we needed. Liked the sofa bed in the room so we had a place to sit rather than another bed.”

• My kids love the pool.
• I would really enjoy a mini fridge and a microwave in the room.

• Had an additional charge for breakfast on top of overpriced room.
• My crew and I found the beds to be uncomfortable to hard; like the beds at Best Western in same area better.

• Free cookies, free and fast internet, plenty of TV stations.
• Ethernet not WiFi.

“This was a nice hotel for business stays. Has all of the amenities that you need. Free Ethernet internet; not as good as WiFi, but still good enough. Big TV, clean rooms, nice desk. Plenty of privacy and good common facilities. Overall, No complaints. Nothing blew me away about it, but it was nice altogether.”

• Great shower gave us new hair dryer for defective one, lighting in bath and bed side excellent (both sides of bed).
• Need continental breakfast. Restaurant breakfast overpriced so we ate elsewhere.

“It was a great experience in that the mattresses and pillows were extraordinarily comfortable. All facilities were clean.”

• Sink stopper wasn't working.

• Clean, convenient, comfortable, many amenities
• Keys kept demagnetizing. Had to get new keys several times.

“The Goshen Courtyard Marriott is a clean friendly hotel perfect for business or leisure. The beds and bedding are wonderful. It is a great value for the money and has an indoor pool/spa and dining available. I have stayed many times at this Courtyard and will do so again if I am in the area.”

• We loved the swimming pool and hot tub!
• The bed/mattresses were extremely uncomfortable.

“We've stayed at this hotel before and will definitely stay there again. Our only problem with it is the bed. The mattress is as hard as a rock. We love that the hotel has implemented a no smoking policy, however, we were put in a previously smoked in room. The ceiling and walls were yellow and the smoke smell still lingered in the room.”

“I was astonished that the courtyard charged for the breakfast that is complimentary in almost every other hotel of its class. Most other mid-priced hotels now offer waffles, scrambled eggs, juice, breads, coffee for free..not courtyard!”

• Weak location; does not live up to typical Courtyard Qty.

“This hotel flies the Courtyard by Marriott flag, but is built and run more like a lesser flag. The restaurant closed at 9am, something not very friendly to a traveler from California which is 3 hours behind. The workout room has the cheapest, junkies equipment.”

• We had to wait until after 5pm for our 2nd room b/c we had asked for a room with 2 Queen beds.

“Wonderful experience. Very welcoming staff who could answer questions. The staff makes or breaks a stay and they had some people interested in making it a customer-friendly experience for us, even while waiting for the room. More than 1 staff person available which I liked.”

“ I had 4 rooms with king size bed in it. I've called up the hotel requesting to have 1 room changed to a double beds and they wouldn't do it (despite the fact that they do have a lot of double bed rooms available). According to the customer service rep, it is their policy not to change room type. I thought that was a poor customer service since the hotel was rather empty. All 4 rooms were rather smelly (could be the fact that no one has been staying there for quite some time). The only part that I like about the hotel is the fast speed Internet access. Not worth paying $99 per room at all!”

• A Great Place To Stay.
• No negatives.

“My wife and I along with another couple had two rooms at this motel. The staff was very helpful, courteous & polite. Both rooms were clean. We had breakfast at the restaurant and it was a very good buffet. They even made eggs to order. I had a very good ham & cheese omelet. (at booking, be sure to pay the extra $10.00 per room for breakfast if there are more than one staying in the room, as it saves money off the per person $7.98 buffet)”

• Staff was friendly, the bed was comfortable, the room was clean and it was quiet.
• The bathroom was small, an outlet on the side where the coffee pot was located would have been helpful.

“This was a nice basic hotel with comfortable furnishings and a pleasant atmosphere. The staff person was very helpful, families seemed to enjoy the pool, it was quiet and we slept well. The only minor complaint would be the small size of the bathroom. I would stay there again without any hesitation.”

• The indoor pool was great!
• Curtains and walls or ceilings could use some updating.

“Our room was very clean and stocked well with clean linens daily. It looked as if they had put down new carpet and new linens on the bed, but they left the pink curtains and the dingy walls out. Disposable cups in the room would have been better than the glass ones with our four year old. The mattresses were extremely firm and very uncomfortable. The room could have used a nicer TV. Overall, our stay was great and we plan on staying there our next trip.”

• The room was more spacious than I imagined and the bed and room temperature were very comfortable.
• Was older than most other Courtyard by Marriott hotels and looked like a conversion.

“Probably one of the best places to stay in Goshen though a little out of the main part of town. Had a great stay here. Everyone was very professional, yet warm and friendly.”

• Fireplace! Computer beside the fireplace!
• Asked for a quiet room, loud families across hall. No elevator! Doors loudly shut.

“Wonderful fireplace in the lobby (2 stories high). Computer in the lobby for guest use. Only 1 washer and 1 dryer. No elevator. Pool and spa enclosed in glass for all guests to view from the lobby. Clean, white comforter on beds.”

• This hotel has a great atmosphere for the end of a long days work.
• Breakfast is too expensive.

“I always enjoy my stay at any Court Yard. This location is perfect for working the Northern part of Indiana. I enjoy ending my day in the quiet atmosphere and comfortable rooms.”
