• Kids running around with no parents with them.

“Very clean and nice hotel. Good location. Free breakfast with several options. There were some families with kids who let the kids run free into exercise room and common areas. Will definitely recommend the place.”

• The helpful staff gave us directions and recommended restaurants in the area.
• There was a rusty sink drain and mildew around the shower fixtures in the bathroom.

“This hotel was beautiful and in a great location. I was impressed with the friendliness and willingness to help from the hotel staff. The pool and lobby were clean and well-maintained. There was a good selection of food at the complimentary breakfast. Our room was clean and beautifully made up for us including a crib for our child. The bathroom was clean but the fixtures needed replacing due to rust and corrosion. Overall, I was very happy with our stay.”

After getting off the highway we were all tired and ready to relax; but as I was checking in I was told there were no doubles available. The front desk clerk understood that there were four of us travel and one king bed would not work.”

• We were with a soccer club, staff was helpful and friendly unlike some other hotel experiences we have had, they welcomed us.
• The air conditioner was very loud.

• Normally excellent quality for the price. Not this time!
• Shower didn't work, room door stuck, got a $15 gas card for the inconveniences.

“Poor quality. We had a shower that didn't work, a hotel room door that was jammed, a maintenance person used his key to walk right into the room without knocking at 11:00 a.m. Smelly bedspreads and a clock which didn't have a light to be able to view what time it was during the night. Upon checkout, I was told due to all the issues there would be no charge for the stay.”

• Comfortable beds with comforters! Clean, new feeling rooms.
• The breakfast was not great. The "eggs" seemed to be artificial. White circles with yellow circles in the middle that looked painted on.

• Staff was very good. The breakfast area attendants were very attentive.
• The card reader at one door did not work, so I could not park and so I could see my car from the room. I'm just more comfortable if I can check on the car.

“The hotel and room were very clean & the bed was comfy. Breakfast was well stocked with a variety of items. Staff was friendly and helpful. The area around the hotel has many restaurants and shops. Overall it was a great stay!”

• Love the new pillow top mattress beds! OUTSTANDING!
• The wireless internet didn't work, even with a booster.

“Love the location, the coffee in room was good, nice breakfast buffet and the bed was outstanding! The only down side was that the wireless internet didn't work well at all. I called the desk and they provided a signal booster, but it didn't make much of a difference. While I liked this hotel allot, I couldn't recommend it to someone who would definitely need internet capability while staying here.”

• It was peaceful (quiet) and clean.
• I did not like that I was charged twice for my stay! The clerk told my fiancé that everything was paid for and charged his credit card also.

• Lack of vending machines and non working ice machines.

“I contacted the hotel Monday night and was told I would get call Tuesday morning, when I didn't I called back and was told I would have to leave a message in voicemail for the manager. I did and still have not heard back. Since the credit card was actually a debit card, it caused a number of charges into an account that did not have much funds. The bank then put a hold on my account. All because of this charge.”

• The whole atmosphere of the hotel was friendly, welcoming and clean.
• Didnt have a hot tub, but I don't know if I would have used it; too often they are too hot.

“Your hotel had a feeling of hospitality: friendly reception at check in - gave us a list of eating places close by, the room door numbers had cute photos, the bed had a lap table on it, a bottle of water and snack pack besides coffee in the room, great beds and pillows, soft towels, shampoo etc, plus soft toilet paper! What more could you have done? Thank you for a great stay! It was the nicest hotel I have stayed at in a long time.”

• The beds were great! Very comfortable.

“The hotel was very comfortable. I felt like my kids could use the pool, lobby and exercise room and I felt safe. The beds were very comfortable. We had one room with a king sized bed and another with double beds and both were great. The breakfast is okay with two hot items and plenty of cold things. They did run out of bananas but we adjusted!”

“This is a nice place to stay if you're traveling to Indianapolis. The Hampton inn is quiet clean and comfortable. There is good restaurant a short walk from the hotel. The hotels complimentary breakfast is good and varies from day to day. The location is tricky to get in and out of. Some signage would be welcome. Overall a good experience.”

• The lady who checked us in was extremely rude.

“The person who checked us in was extremely rude. There was another guest who was also having trouble with this lady, too. Our room was smoking, even though we called earlier to request non-smoking and was told we had it. Upon check in, we were told we couldn't make any changes. We were stuck with the smoking room, which also had one king size bed for 2 adults and 2 children. The security guy was awesome, though and got us two cots and apologized for the way we were treated at check-in. The staff at this hotel wasn't so great!”

• The staff was extremely nice and friendly. Breakfast was great!
• We checked in to find the lobby torn apart.

“There was extensive remodeling in the lobby and first floor. A very small room was used for breakfast area and was very cramped, though food was great. There was a lot of drywall dust from the bare walls which caused me a sinus headache. I felt this remodeling shouldn't have been started when the hotel was so busy! They had 92 checks-ins on Friday night with no lobby!”

• I liked the bed, with the fluffy comforter.
• The toilet all most over flowed each time being flushed.

“They did offer to switch the room but I opted not to after I had access to a plunger, but I almost changed my mind when it continues to get clog. They were under staff till the next day.”

• From room 206 I could go downstairs to breakfast but not up- had to go way down to elevator at other end of hotel.

“This hotel was very convenient to the highway, had nice pool, bedding and room were clean and comfortable but I asked for a wake up call at 7, I changed it to 6-3o with operator but I did not get 1. I think she must have thought I said 7-30. This would have been inconvenient if I missed an appointment. Clock in room had not been changed to EST even though the time had changed. I think it is a good idea to have the bag breakfasts for those on the run. I enjoyed their sit down one.”
