• Hotel staff was excellent. Location close to downtown Indy. Room very comfortable.
• Complimentary continental breakfast would have been nice instead of $8.95 per person. But food was very good.

“Hotel is excellent for weekend trip to Indianapolis. It is close to the city and all attractions. Very clean and friendly staff. Pool was great and there are a lot of restaurants near the hotel too.”

“Very clean and maintained. Room was comfortable with no problems. Disappointed that hotel didn't offer any type of continental breakfast. Even cheap hotels have donuts. Plan on taking the family out to eat.”

• The pool, hot tub and price.
• No complimentary breakfast and this fact is not clearly explained.

“For the price, this is a great place to stay. The rooms are nice and overall, it's very nice and clean. We love the pool and hot tub. Make sure you decline the daily newspaper (unless you really want it), of you'll be charged for it. Also, the breakfast buffet is not free. You have to pay for breakfast, although this is not clearly explained.”

• The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, the rooms were very nice!
• Hot tub heater broken, but not a big issue.

• Convenience to my destination.
• No complimentary breakfast available.

“We have family near the South port area, and have stayed at all of the South port Crossing hotels--this one is, in our opinion, the nicest. We do wish that breakfast was complimentary (the buffet offered is not really worth $9/person, so we end up eating out at one of the nearby restaurants, kind of a hassle with small kids).”

• Location was great!
• Chlorine amounts in the pool.

“The hotel was very nice and clean. The pool was very clean and warm but the chlorine odor was very overwelming. It burned my eyes and throat as I watch my son swim. It was very strong.”

• This hotel is very clean, comfortable and inviting to all guests.
• Nothing at all
  a continental breakfast would have been nice.

“This property is in a great location and was a great value for the price. The guest room were fresh, clean and well equipped. My entire family commented on how comfortable and soft the beds and pillows were. Overall, a great experience.”

• Very friendly staff-desk clerk, maid, custodian.
• No complaint-would like to suggest additional grab bar in the shower on the long wall.

“We had a medical reason to stay in Indy for Appts. at I. U. Med Center. The entire staff was very courteous and friendly. We were greeted with smiles and hello's from all the employees making us feel we were special guests. We have a December appointment and will likely stay again.”

• The hotel had access to restaurants and shopping centers.
• The hotel did not offer a continental breakfast. I stayed for business and it made it tough to eat and run.

“Overall, I would rate this hotel as a very good hotel. My family and I enjoyed the fact that it was somewhat removed from the hustle and bustle of downtown. We enjoy being surrounded by relatively little commotion at night. The downside to the hotel is that it sits out of downtown. It takes 20 to 30 minutes to get there from the hotel. I don't find this to be a downside because we enjoy the somewhat remote feel of not being downtown.”

• The soft NASA beds.

“The rooms were clean and cool when arriving. The bathrooms were clean and the maids did not bug you in the morning when you slept in. The receptionist were polite and friendly and tried to meet my expectations any way they could.”

“It was clean and the rooms were comfortable. The toliets were really loud and that was a deterent. We enjoyed the pool and spa. We would stay there again.”

• The hotel was clean, well maintained and near a varied group of restaurants and stores.
• I wish Marriott would provide complimentary breakfasts as other hotels do.

“I would definitely recommend the Marriot Indy South to friends. I hope we will stay there again. The staff was friendly and the facility was clean and well kept.”

“We were very pleased with Courtyard By Marriott Indianapolis south. Our room was very nice. We're not sure but we think it was an executive suite. Definitely worth the amount we paid! Our son and daughter in law stayed at the same hotel. They were also very pleased with our accommodations. We would definitely recommend this hotel to travelers. Unfortunately we didn't book the room for 3 nights. We only booked it for 2 nights, & had to spend our third night at a different hotel. Our third night was spent at Holiday Inn. The Holiday Inn was an older one and not nearly as nice as Courtyard by Marriott. We were very disappointed with our stay at Holiday Inn. It didn't meet our expectations for the quality level. The cost of the room at Courtyard was very worth it. We spent the same amount on both hotels. Courtyard was very worth it, but Holiday Inn seemed like we paid too much in comparison. Holiday Inn was an OK hotel just not the same quality level and value. If you're looking for a place to say that is 2 stars or less this hotel is great. Had we not stayed at Courtyard, we probably wouldn't have known that 2.5 stars was any better than the Holiday Inn.”
