• The rooms were clean, well maintained and the lobby was beautiful. Bartender was excellent. I hope to get this hotel again next year.
• Nothing.

“Perfect location. We've stayed same weekend every year for past 7 years between downtown Marriott and Westin. By far, this hotel was best! Rooms were well groomed and in perfect shape for age of hotel.”

• The location and the view.
• Tiny bathrooms and old tub/shower.

“The old design of the Omni gives the hotel character. At the same time, the old design is also responsible for small bathrooms and someone cramped quarters. The tub and shower seemed old just because it is doesn't mean that they should look worn. New fixtures could give a new and cleaner look to these rooms. The staff was pleasant and check in and check out were really simple and fast. I'd probably stay there again as long as the price was right. Otherwise I might go with an updated hotel.”

• The connection to Circle center mall.
• No exhaust fan in bathroom, bedroom was very small, and there was no luggage rack.

“Unmarked rise in hallway causing myself to trip. No pass key needed to return to hotel from mall walk area. Train noises could be heard through out the night, I was on the 11th floor.”

• Parking was not very convenient.

“The room was nice although I've stayed at other hotels that had much nicer extras (linens/towels/TVs/etc.) I was disappointed that the room had two double beds instead of two queen beds.”

• Incredibly friendly staff that upgraded us after finding we were on our honeymoon!

• Great room! Felt more like a suite. It wasn't just a box room.
• Overpriced breakfast buffet. We went down the street to another hotel buffet!

“This hotel is quiet, clean and offers excellent service. It is connected by tunnel to the mall! Our family has stayed here in the past and loved it. That's why we bid again and hoped to get it.”

“Only complaint was parking. I asked when I checked in about parking - they said on the weekend street parking was free, valet at the hotel was $25 and to park across the street at the Circle Center garage was $20. When we tried to get out of the circle center garage at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday no attendant was there, had to call security which took forever and they charged us an extra $10 for leaving in off hours- the staff at the Omni should know this. This also made us late for church since we had to wait. So, park valet with the hotel if you need to leave before 10 a.m. on the weekend!”

“The room was terribly small (especially with a king size bed in it); the bathroom, especially the tub was very small. The tub was probably 2 1/2 by 5 feet. We even had the room changed, thinking another one might be more spacious. But we were wrong!There were coffee spillage stains on the carpet; The paint in the bathroom was peeling off; the fixtures, including the granite vanity were close to falling apart. That's the room; now the service: housekeeping woke us up at 8:30 am for cleaning, and then returned again at 9:00 am. When we checked out, the concierge did not even ask us about our stay! So I made a point of telling them about the housekeeping. Very poor!”

• The rooms were in very poor condition. I have stayed in nicer 3 star hotels.

“This hotel looked great as you enter the lobby. The rooms had not been updated or maintained. The bathroom door handle was falling off, the toilet was hard to flush, the shower had mold in it. The name of the hotel did not line up with the condition of the rooms.”

• I left a pillow in the room and the hotel could not retrieve it for me.

“The parking is in a basement across the street with no security. The cleaning staff did not turn in my personal pillow I left in the room. The desk staff acted like it was an inconvenience to try to track it down.”

• Each and every staff person was absolutely wonderful!
• One of the elevators broke down causing traffic jamming.

“We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the Omni Severin in Indianapolis. The staff was very courteous and extremely helpful, the room was clean and lovely, and the rest of the hotel was also very clean and beautiful. Only wish there had been a hot tub to relax in.”

“When we checked in the person at the registration desk asked if we were in Indy for a special occasion. My wife told her it was my birthday. Low and behold, when we returned to our room after dinner there was a piece of birthday cake, a bottle of spring water, and a nice birthday card from the manager. It was a very nice experience.”

• The pool and exercise room were clean and modern.
• The room was small and was in need of a few repairs.

“There was a hole in the carpet, stained and peeling wallpaper, and the bathtub drain did not work. The room was also quite small, which can make it more difficult when traveling with small kids! Other than the room itself, the other amenities were nice and you can't beat the location.”

• The lobby was beautiful, the pool was warm, the beds were comfy.
• No chocolates on the bed! And a wet spot by the door may be from the air conditioner overhead.

• Loved the Disney movie room. Staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. Always asking how we were enjoying our stay.
• Pool was too small, no Jacuzzi.

“This hotel is in excellent clean condition, and is centrally located within walking distance to many things in downtown Indy. We stayed Labor Day weekend, and there were several wedding receptions going on each night, which were quite loud. We liked that this hotel is attached to the Circle Center Mall. We had a great stay and will definitely stay again, and will recommend to all of our friends.”

• We were put in a smoking room.

“Even though we were put in a smoking room after confirming non-smoking, the staff did everything they could to make sure our stay was to our liking. They even recommended a service that for the cost of signing up at the front desk we would get drinks, a paper, and free WiFi in the hotel. Well worth the money.”

• Duvet comforter and bed skirt (white) showed dirt (not our dirt).

“This hotel is offers attractive, comfortable lodging and is conveniently located to lots of fun/interesting stuff. Our beds were comfortable, with many pillows, and not visible from the door to the room. There was a chocolate fountain in the lobby (one night) with fruit, etc and the kids were amazed. The kids liked the pool but it was in a strangely lit basement room.”

• There was no designated parking area.

“The Omni Severin is a great place to stay in Indy. It is conveniently located in the downtown area. The staff is super friendly and extremely knowledgeable. While in Indy, we had vehicle issues do to the poor roads conditions (potholes) that required I get the car fixed during my stay. We did not have our transportation. We felt stuck at the hotel. The front desk associate went over and above to make sure we still enjoyed ourselves. She provided us with a map of the city and mapped out the must-see on foot tour for us! I was so impressed. We were extremely grateful to her. When we return to this city, we plan to stay there again.”

“The experience was interesting for a first time in Indianapolis. I loved the location of the hotel, near the middle of Downtown, and the city. The hotel was a remodeled old hotel. The rooms seemed a little plain and dull, but not bad if youre not planning on spending a lot of time in your room.”
