• Shula's Steakhouse was spectacular! The dual showerhead was great. Great view.
• $25 self parking. $10 internet access. Internet should be free with your stay.

“The hotel is in a very good location in downtown Indy. We chose to self park and it was $25, so I'm sure valet is even more. The lobby is nice, not gorgeous. The staff was nice and accommodating. We'd booked a King room, they were "out" when we checked in, but they made up for it by giving us a room with a gorgeous view. Shampoo+Conditioner are White Tea+Aloe, very good. The bed+bedding were very comfortable. And the shower was spectacular!”

• Rather plain in the rooms. Spacious, but not luxurious at all.

• Always clean and very classy.
• Hard to get to hotel and the bathroom outlets were useless.

“The Westin is a great hotel to stay at. It is connected with downtown shopping mall. No need to walk outside. However, due to the One-Way roads it can be a challenge to actually make it to the hotel. Also, the outlet in the bathroom would not keep whatever was plugged in, plugged into it.”

“I didn't like the tub was not clean the shower head was damn near out the wall,their was rust all around the drain in the tub. We stayed for two days they never came to clean our room nor bring us more towels, my husband and to call down twice for clean towels and after waiting for twenty minutes housekeeping finally came.”

• Allowed to check in early, helpful staff!

“We were pleased to get this through Priceline using the name you own price option. It was a surprise night out for my wife. The staff allowed me to check in 3 hours early. They accommodated our room with a small fridge, as they do not have them in the room, except one that charges you for whats inside, but not one to store your things in. So it was very helpful to get that, and to get into the room early.”

• The lobby was very attractive, the beds were comfy.
• The parking is expensive.

“The heavenly beds were comfy but the duvet was too warm. No blankets available so either it was too hot or too cold. This West in seemed older & not as upscale as others I've stayed in. The lounge was nice. The room was OK, but the amenities were very few. I would only stay here again if the price were very good.”

• The Heavenly bed was so comfortable that I did not want to get out of bed in the morning.
• I cannot think of anything that I did not like about this hotel.

“I loved my stay at this hotel. From the moment we stepped foot in the hotel, we felt like we were the most important guest there. All of the employees were very helpful and knowledgeable. The man at the front desk really made sure we felt welcome. The heavenly bed was just that. Heavenly. We did not want to even get out of bed in the morning. The hotel was in a pretty good location. It was just a short walk from the circle downtown. It was close to restaurants as well. We definitely would stay here again.”

• The bed was awesome!
• The room was too cold. Thermostat didn't work.

“The overall feeling was great. the bedding and the kings size bed was super. The room was tool cold and when I called facilities they said they were sending someone up. The room was 65 all night or less and here in Indy it was about 30 outside so that was way too cold.”

“Parking was 28 dollars a day. Expensive. Separate parking 25 dollars a day but no in and out services. Restaurant and gift shop extremely expensive. Free internet only in lobby. In room 9.95 a day.”

• The bedding was very nice as well as the coffee.
• Did not like the fact that you were charged for extra coffee.

“Overall a very nice hotel. Was a little disappointed that the pool was out of commission but I understand that this was beyond their control. The real only complaint was I drink decaf coffee. I had a cup when I came in for the night. To have another cup in my room I would've been charged. Other than that it was all very nice.”

• The hotel was attractive and the bed was extremely comfortable.
• The parking lot for the hotel charges $25 per day. There are no reasonable alternatives nearby.

“The hotel was very clean and attractive and its location was central to all of the downtown attractions making everything within a short walk. The $25.00 parking fee is ridiculous and I find it confusing that the cost couldn't be subsidized by the hotel in some way as there are no nearby alternatives.
”

• Our carpet was soaked for 2 days. The bathroom was tiny with bad lighting.
  

“Our room was soaked. It had just been cleaned, so it smelled of chemicals and the carpet was so wet we had to keep our shoes on for 2 days. The bathroom was small, had very poor lighting.

• The distance to the stadium and downtown events was very nice.
• I didn't like what they charged for parking.

“This hotel was very nice and comfortable. The only complaint I would have is what they charge you for parking. For as much as a room costs at this hotel, parking should be included. Instead it was $25 to park overnight and $28 to have them valet it for the night. Other than that, we had a very nice stay at this hotel.”

• The room was beautiful and had a great view of the capitol!
• The pool closed 3 days early for renovation and we could not swim!

“The room was perfect! Shula's restaurant was great for breakfast, the food was excellent and the service was outstanding. My only complaint was that the pool was scheduled for renovations to begin on September 10th but the started three days early on the 7th which is the day we were going to swim! I have three young children who were looking forward to swimming. The front desk was very rude about the situation and very unapologetic. They did offer for us to swim at the Hyatt but it's quite a hike around the skywalks to swim. Not to mention I really did not feel like parading around downtown Indianapolis in my bathing suit!”

• This was a honeymoon weekend. We loved the beds, The whole experience was great.

“Downtown location makes it convenient to walk anywhere you'd like to go. Attached to Circle Center Mall, so do not have to step outside to go shopping. Clean, friendly, and the heavenly beds are wonderful.”

• I did not like pool and hot tub area it was dirty and ran down the tub was out of order and the work out could have been cleaner for such nice hotel.

• Check in was very fast and security did well in quieting noisy neighbors.
• Pool area was very small and overcrowded.

“Although our room was extremely clean, the hallway carpeting on the floor we were on was dirty and stained. When going on another floor we noticed the carpet wasn't so bad. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay though and I would stay there again!”

• Had a pool.
• The breakfast buffet ran out of food in the AM.

“Great location downtown, safe, clean and friendly. The bathroom could have used a little more cleaning but the room was clean. The pool was in need of some repair and the free breakfast that came with the executive level, ran out of food and was way overcrowded. The evening snacks they offered ran out of food as well. It made us feel uncomfortable since there was a waiter that was wanting a tip.”

• Parking was not included in the price.

“My husband and I were meeting downtown to attend a Colts game, and one of the main reasons we decided to stay at a hotel was to avoid paying for parking for 2 vehicles. When we arrived at the hotel, we found that parking was not included, and we spent $40 to park in addition to the cost of the hotel. I also found the staff was decidedly unfriendly. Having stayed at other 4 star hotels in the past, I found the Westin to be a little shabby.”

• The hotel staff was helpful on complaining about my room.
• The room was not to standard. The bathroom - sink faucet was leaking, the tub was not draining. Could not fix the bathroom, moved me to a new room.

“The hotel was undergoing renovation. In fact the room was not to standard. The sink faucet was leaking and the tub was not draining and was clogged. It is surprising that the housekeeping staff had not kept the hotel informed of the problem in the bathroom. The problems were brought to the attention of the hotel and they tried to fix it but the engineer could not do it. Then in the evening they moved me to a new room on the 14th floor. The hotel was below average.”
