• It has a wonderful lounge/platform overlooking a European style channel. Great for early morning or late night coffee. Romantic.
• $75 surcharge for pets. But understandable.

“This Hotel has a family resort feel to it, and big city amenities within walking distance. There is an air of romance, great complimentary breakfast, and well trained host and hostesses. Great deal all the way around.”

• Nice suites, great complimentary breakfast, short walk to downtown events.
• Had a hard time finding the hotel, but that was probably more my fault.

“I didn't realize this hotel was a suite, nice surprise as well as it was a very upscale 2 1/2 star, I probably would have rated it higher. The complimentary breakfast was a big plus also. Had a very enjoyable weekend with my wife.”

• I really like the suite concept at Res. Inns, they are very comfortable.
• The snow in the parking lot was never touched during my stay and was quite deep.

“Comfortable, easy to find and fortunately I got a great deal on my stay. Please note many of us are allergic to feathers the pillows and comforter was down-I was stuffed up for hours.”

• It was close to the Downtown Area.
• You almost missed the hotel because the small sign in the front was hidden by parked cars on the street.

• Breakfast and kitchen facilities are nice.
• I needed to use a printer and had to go to the Marriott Courtyard Capital to do that. The printer there was very slow and ran out of ink.

• The maid service didn't restock the room every day as they should

“Excellent place to stay with a helpful staff and a tasty hot breakfast in the morning. A great place for Gen Con attendees to stay. With a kitchen available you can bring food and a make a meal at 3:00 AM which I did. Highly recommended.”

• The A/C did not work but transferred to new room

“This hotel rocks! I can't believe how nice Sarah and Jonathon were (Hotel Workers). I would love to stay here again. The location was perfect, the amenities were fabulous, and the people were superb. The room was spacious and the kitchen was just like home. When can I go again?”

• The location was great. The view out the window at the canel as awsome.
• The room temp. was hard to regulate at a constant temperature.

“It was a great location. Never had any problems with the room or the staff. The view out our window was very pretty. The only complaint is that the air conditioner didn't seem to regulate the room temp. very good.”

• A little walk to RCA Dome and Convention Center

“We had an excellent stay. When we looked on the refrigerator there was a calendar which gave tips of things to do and also informed us of when the hotel was serving free dinners. Our last night we enjoyed a cookout with hamburgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken, chips and pop for free. The room was excellent and had plenty of lighting and a great view of the canal.”

• Very clean, great service. Staff purchased sundries for guests at no charge. Hot breakfast provided in mornings. Hot snacks weeday evenings.

“Very nice 2.5 star facility. We had a group with three rooms. No complaints. Everyone impressed with the facilities.Cook-outs, snacks and drinks were provided during the week in the evenings, hot breakfasts provided every morning. Wireless and ethernet service went out once, and front desk had it fixed pretty quickly. Staff seemed to make an effort to fulfill all requests, such as canal views. ”

“A great place with beautiful view of the canal. The staff was friendly and always ready to meet your needs. Offering breakfast, which they do, is always a plus when I am booking a hotel. NEVER a problem with parking. Convenient location...we walked to many of our destinations downtown. We would stay there again in the future.”

“It was an awesome place to stay. It's right on the canal in Indy and I loved walking the canal in the morning. It's close to the racetrack, within walking distance of several restaurants, has a nice pool and hot tub, and even has a pool table/game room. I really enjoyed the breakfast which was much more than a continental breakfast. With breakfast, you could sit on a deck overlooking the canal. I wouldn't pick another place to stay in Indianapolis.”

• What a beautiful hotel, close to downtown but secluded at the same time. Wonderful!
• I have trouble thinking of anything I didn't like....It's on a one way street....that's all I've got.

“My husband and I stayed at this hotel the last time we were in Indianapolis. What a wonderful place it was. Everything was beautiful and there is a very nice patio that looks over the canal. We ate our complimentary breakfast on the patio in the morning. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. ”

• The location was great for downtown access. The room was clean and nicely arranged.
• The desk clerk was unable to help in finding a street and giving directions.

“We had a pleasant experience at the hotel. For the most part the staff was very helpful. The hotel was clean and nicely decorated. It was located in walking distance of a number of attractions and restaurants. We felt it was well worth the price we were able to stay there for.”

• I love the Residence Inn suites.
• They were either understaffed or not focused on customers.

“This hotel is a very short drive (a medium length walk) from the Convention Center and RCA Dome in downtown Indy. Residence Inns are wonderful for traveling families with breakfasts, suppers during the week, and a kitchen in your suite. The only issue with this one is it's a little hard to spot just because it has a small sign which is obscured by the big building beside it. Once you find it, it's a great hotel!”
