• Free parking.
• Walls are too thin, roof repair very loud/annoying.

“The walls were so thin you could hear entire conversations going on in the next room's), hallway, outside, etc. We were awaken by very loud construction and roof repair before 8am on sat, march 17th, which continued until we left for the afternoon. There are also vents in the shower units, but instead of actually having them for steam removal and air circulation, they did nothing except let you hear everything going on in the bathroom next to it, word for word, sound for sound. There was very little privacy at this hotel, you had to whisper if you didn't want the other rooms or people in the hallway to hear you, and there was way too much noise to be able to sleep. I will not stay at this hotel again, we were very disappointed.”

• We experienced an emergency with our vehicle, and the staff came to our rescue many times
• Fire alarm went off at around10:00pm

“The staff went above and beyond to assist us when we had an emergency. They were knowledgeable about the city and were very helpful. The rooms were very clean, big, and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again.”

• It was very convenient to the attractions that we were going to.
• Some of the other Marriott have a very nice continental breakfast.

• The tiff¿s in the hotel was a nice dining experience for us.
• We had to go up to another floor to get to an ice machine.

• Friendly and clean. A very courteous staff. Room was well-appointed for my needs.
• I liked it all.

“From my very late check-in on a Wednesday night until I left on Friday morning, the Courtyard Marriott Downtown Indianapolis met and exceeded my expectations. The staff was helpful and friendly. They greeted to you in the hallways and from the desk. Even with some outside repair work going on involving the building, I was not disturbed. I would be glad to stay there again!”

“On the second day stay I left the motel in the morning and returned late in the evening to find the cleaning crew or someone had left the door to my room open or not locked. I reported this to the motel staff. I think they should have offered me a free stay or some thing. Lucky nothing was missing.”

“The hotel is in an ok location but you have to drive though an industrial area to get there. There was painting going on while we were there. Hotel staff were nice but there were dead bugs on the bathroom floor. Overall, a good stay and a good hotel.”

“Indy is a pretty easy city to get around, so I was not that concerned about where I stayed. However, you upgraded me to a downtown hotel. I parked my car on Sunday and did not use it again until I left on Wednesday! The hotel also offers free parking and free internet access in the lobby.”

• The location and free parking were wonderful!
• Hotel had only outdoor pool. Not practical for Indiana in the winter.

“The hotel was the perfect location for a visit to the IMAX and the zoo. Free parking was an extra bonus. The only thing about this stay that was not perfect was the TGIF restaurant. We tried to eat one evening about 7 p.m. The restaurant was 1/2 empty and the lobby was full of people waiting to be seated only to be told there was a 1/2 hour wait to be seated. We went back to the room and ordered room service and it was delivered in less time than 1/2 hour. We tried again for breakfast and found they were only serving a limited buffet, which we ordered and never saw our waitress again. We had to pay the hostess for our meal. The hotel itself was great and the staff was friendly.”

“The hotel is warm and inviting, a fireplace is located in the lobby. A nice workout room available 24 hrs, indoor pool and whirlpool. Area is clean, well stocked with towels. Room had a great view, sofa, desk. Business room with computer access. All staff were friendly and available. Loved my stay and so did my 10 year old son.”

• The staff was very accommodating and very friendly.
• We were originally given a room that had not been cleaned, but within 5 minutes they moved us to a new room.

“We came to Indy to go to Riley Hospital for Children for our grand daughter to have some testing performed. We were within 5 minutes of the hospital and that provided for an enjoyable stay.”

• Wonderful, very helpful staff, and the most comfortable beds I've slept on in ages!
• Scratchy towels, need to update them.

“I was in Indianapolis to attend a multi-day event at the RCA Dome. The hotel is next door, so it was very convenient. The staff there posted schedules for the event in their lobby, and results of preliminary and semi-final competitions. They were very friendly and accommodating. This hotel has the best beds I've slept on in ages! Wish I could take one home. This is a Courtyard hotel, so not all the extras of a regular Marriot (there is one of those just down the street). While they didn't have things like shower caps and lotions in the room, if you call the desk they will provide them for you.”

• Rooms were clean, well decorated, staff were attentive, small but attractive lobby area.
• Small tub, service at breakfast left something to be desired.

“We (spouse plus 7 year old) stayed here for one night. It is very conveniently located (across street from 3 museums and next to convention center). The lobby is small, but attractive. We had a decent view of the area from our room. I was impressed that the staff made a note of an engineering exam from a comment made at check in, and asked me about it when I went to call the room. Breakfast was at TGIF's. It appeared that the area was understaffed. The waiter was fine, but dishes were very hot, somewhat dirty, and sparse. It was well priced, although we had conflicting answers on what the child buffet price was.”

• Unique Courtyard with TGI Friday's restaurant as part of hotel.
• No ice machine on my floor; only on 4, 6 and 8.

“Courtyard hotels are always very nice, but we were particularly impressed with this one, it met our needs perfectly. It's a short walk to the Convention Center and RCA Dome, where w were headed. Also right across the street from the Eiteljorg Museum of Indian History and Western Art and the Indiana State Museum, IMax Theater. TGI Friday's was extremely handy. We got a Costanza parking place right in front of the hotel and didn't have to move the car all weekend.”

• No shuttle service to downtown attractions. No free continental breakfast (only TGI Friday's breakfast buffet next door). Ice machines didn't work.

• It was very close to the heart of downtown with restaurants and the RCA Dome.
• The smoke alarm went off when we turned on the heater in the room.

“Overall the hotel was nice enough for the rate we paid. When we checked in our room was cold while our companions room was warm. We turned on the heater to warm up the room and set off the smoke detector (I guess the heat had not been used in quite some time). Our room then had a lingering burning smell for the rest of the evening.”

• The entire team of hotel. Staff was fantastic. What a great time.
• Service at the Friday's (connected to the Hotel) was poor.

“We stay in Indy several times a year and this so far is our favorite hotel. The room was clean which is a priority for me. They offered free parking and the outside pool was very nice. TGIS's is the hotel restaurant which we enjoyed. Also, they had 2 computers in the lobby we could use to check our email since we were away from home.”

• The pool was not clean. Had leaves and debre in it.

“This is a good hotel if you need one just for the night. Certainly not a place I would want to stay in for a prolonged period of time. The cleanliness could use some work. The breakfast buffet (not included) was pretty decent. It was hard to get the front desk to answer the phone. ”

• Fantastic view of Victory Field, where the Indpls Indians play.

“TGIFridays is an attached restaurant. Fast services, attentive waiter, well seasoned salad, excellent meal. And limitless refills on my iced tea... It was a hot day.. The Courtyard by Mariott was well furnished. The beds were comfortable, the room was spacious and clean. The view of Victory Field was spectacular. I need to get this room for a ball game (Room 750#) or the fireworks display. The hotel staff was wonderful, friendly and knowledgeable.”
