“Everything was good but was very disappointed when they locked the pool down at 7pm.” May 7, 2009 by

“Adequate for economy price, I did not like the handicapped room, pool not available, but noisy people on the tennis court by my window, trash strolled right in front of parking area.” Mar 30, 2009 by
Susan from Raleigh,NC
“Over-all very good experience - location was excellent and gym availability was very pleasant.” Oct 26, 2008 by

“Hard to find. Gracious staff, very well kept property. Apartment sized room, with full kitchen. Comfy bed. All very neat and clean. My compliments to management.” Aug 12, 2008 by
Pertha from Huntsville, AL
“Overall, I had a great stay at the hotel. Would stay there again.” Jul 28, 2008 by
Lesley from Sandoval, IL
“Nice clean room. We had three rooms for our family 2 downstairs and 1 upper level. Not too much fun lugging stuff up the stairs, but it was only one story. Most all units are convenient to pool, and lounge. Breakfast in the lobby was more than expected. Staff was very nice as they gave us a private room for breakfast (we have 10 kids 1-25).” Jul 17, 2008 by
Elba from Fayetteville, NC
“I enjoyed my stay. I find the hotel is suited for a long stay.” Jul 12, 2008 by

“Hotel was worth the price, but it's wireless internet service was awful at best. The staff was extremely friendly, and the cleanliness was impressive.” Jun 18, 2008 by

“Great location; price and staff.” Jun 2, 2008 by
Linda M. from Costa Mesa, CA
“This was the best stay of my entire vacation. Warm, welcoming staff. huge, spacious room. Triple sheeted bed, spotlessly clean suite. Every amenity I could possibly want, including laundry room, clean refreshing pool, Jacuzzi, snacks for sale 24 hours a day, free Wi-Fi, popcorn and coffee waiting in room, close to dining and shopping, full kitchen. If felt like we were house-sitting for a friend rather than staying in a hotel. I was very impressed.” May 31, 2008 by
Judy from Germantown, TN
“This hotel sits off the road, tucked back from the road. It backs up to the Interstate road and some of the rooms can be quite noisy. The room was clean, mostly. We had a problem and filled out a comment sheet and talked to the desk staff about it. They seemed to want to correct the problem immediately. Staff seems attentive. I felt that when we arrived we were greeted promptly, but had to ask questions instead of being told, i.e. when is breakfast, etc. We received a room with a king bed, but when I asked if we could get a room with two double beds was informed that there would be an up charge.” May 26, 2008 by
Jill from Sand Springs, OK
“We used this hotel as a stop over on our way to Florida. It was very nice and spacious. The breakfast was great. The bowling alley next door was very noisy and a little unnerving.” May 16, 2008 by
Jimmy from Jackson, TN

“Hotel is on the level of a Comfort Inn or Days Inn. Amenities were okay, but not luxurious.” Apr 23, 2008 by
Janice from Panama City, FL
“Nice rooms for business traveler. Noisy bowling alley next door. Night watchman on duty for added security. Other than A/C problem, great place!” Apr 21, 2008 by
Dan from Suwanee, GA
“Clean, big rooms lots of space.” Apr 19, 2008 by
Amalita from Enfield, CT
“Seeing that the hotel was located beside a bowling alley made me apprehensive as we pulled up. But, I was pleasantly surprised about the service and room we received. Check-in was a breeze, the front desk was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and very spacious with a king sized bed positioned near a walk-through closet/vanity sink that led to the bathroom. The kitchen had a bar with two stools and everything you need to prepare meals. The living room area was large and included a sleeper sofa, occasional chair end tables, coffee table and desk. It felt like a cute little apartment. The colors, fabrics and furniture was modern and gave off a peaceful feel. Painting the wall at the head of the bed was attractive and made the studio seem like a suite. There was lots of natural light due to the many windows. I especially liked the floor to ceiling windows. I did not like that they accepted pets, though I am sure this is a plus for some. A dog peed on the steps just beyond my door and the owner nor the staff cleaned it up. This put a bit of a damper on the otherwise lovely landscaping and walkways. The pool looked nice though it was not yet open for the season. The area for barbecuing was very nice, with a gas grill and picnic tables. Internet access was available but would be more comfortable if it was in a separate room or area instead of beside the front door.” Apr 9, 2008 by
Robyn “It was nice for a family stay, as my daughter is young. We ran out of towels quickly, and had to ask for them for the next day (they did not fill the need when they came by). Breakfast area was okay, food was good.” Mar 27, 2008 by
Sue from Olathe, KS
“Followed the Marriott traditions.” Oct 28, 2007 by
Brad from Franklin, TN
“Very well kept, clean and very friendly staff.” Oct 5, 2007 by
Nikki from Bridgeport, WV
“I was surprise to see the room equipped with a dishwasher, stove and refrigerator. There were enough place settings for four people and pots and pans were available for cooking. The hotel is located off a major highway with plenty of restaurants within five minutes of driving. The hotel offered a full breakfast with eggs, potatoes, biscuits, bacon, yogurt, waffles, etc. I was surprised to see condiments like sour cream, ketchup and salsa. Wine and beer was available for patrons in the lobby when we arrived at the hotel in the evening.” Sep 16, 2007 by
Jason from Knoxville, TN
“The hotel was a one night stay on our way to the beach. The staff was extremely friendly and our room was to our liking. Would definitely stay at this hotel again in the future.” Sep 10, 2007 by
Laura from Muscle Shoals, AL
“This is a wonderful hotel, with a fully stocked (dishes) kitchen. It had a full size stove and refrigerator.” Jul 27, 2007 by

“We try to stay at Marriott family of hotels whenever possible. We have stayed numerous times at the Montg. Residence Inn. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were recently redecorated, but I would not say renovated. You can feel the age of the hotel starting to show. The pool is small and the hot tub seemed dirty. There also seemed to be a lot of cars driving through with music booming that were not residents/patrons of the hotel. We did not feel as comfortable/secure in our stay this time as we have in the past. However, the staff is still wonderful, the breakfast spread is great, and the rooms are all non-smoking! We had a small problem with our room and they changed our room immediately and without hesitation!” Jul 12, 2007 by
Robert from Pompano Beach, FL

“This was a good hotel that I would stay at again if in Montgomery.” Oct 17, 2006 by

“Suite hotels should be in a different category from standard rooms. Accommodations and property is very nice, but not what was needed for one night 2 adults needing separate beds. Would highly recommend for longer term stays.” Jun 6, 2006 by
Lyn from Tuscaloosa, AL
“Convenient to Interstate but rooms at the back would hear the traffic noises at night. Room large and very nice with kitchenette but smelled like smoke even though it had a non-smoking sign on the door. Very good for the price.” May 31, 2006 by
Ed from Birmingham, AL
“This is a pleasant facility located just off the interstate with other Marriott properties. Check-in was painless and request for non-smoking 2 doubles was granted with no problem. Our room was in building 10 and was pleasantly clean and comfortable. As with other Res. Inns there is a half wall between an area with a sleeper sofa, chair, desk and efficiency kitchen and the bedroom area. The vanity/sink was outside the tub/shower/toilet area. Large TV with good selection of channels and HBO, even a VCR. The pool was outside and clean. Bed was a excellent and linens appeared to be of excellent quality. Shower was fine with good pressure. The free breakfast the next morning had a good selection, even waffles, fruit, eggs, potatoes, bacon and various juices and cereal. There is a coffee maker and coffee in the room, even though coffee is available in the lobby. Rooms even had popcorn and tea provided along with the coffee. Plenty of free convenient parking. No problems with climate control. There is free wired Internet in the room. No unpleasant noises and this is a very safe area with lots of shopping and restaurants. ” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.May 24, 2006 by

Rosaline from Mason, OH
“Hotel was not what I expected compare to the information on the internet. I was very disappointed and did not feel to happy with my stay due to the comfort of the bed, mattress and the room quality. I did not need a handicap access room not to mention that the closet was very low so I could not even hang my clothes properly.” Dec 20, 2004 by
Sandra T. from Lavaca “I was extremely pleased with my suite at the Residence Inn and plan to stay with them in the future.”
