• The room was right across from the pool, nice!
• It was hard to find because of construction.

“I truly enjoyed this hotel. The rooms were more than we expected. The hotel has a lot of amenities: pool, free coffee, internet cafe, exercise equipment. We certainly would like another stay even though we had a hard time finding the hotel's entrance due to construction.”

“Everything was fine. Nothing fancy, nothing special. A clean room, clean bed and close by to a few restaurants. Next door to the interstate, so very easy to navigate to or from.”

• Locaton to Interstate 85.
• Hair dryer did not work, room was not very clean when I arrived.

“Courtyard was close to the Interstate, but not near downtown if you have activities there. Room was nice, and had nice business amenities.”

• The room was very clean.
• The $11.95 breakfast is ridiculous.

“The hotel was nice. The shocker came when I asked about a breakfast of any kind. On week-ends, the only possibility of any food at the hotel is the $11.95 buffet or on week days there is an $8.95 continental breakfast. This was most disappointing. Next time I hope to get the Residence Inn.”

• Under staffed.

“This hotel is beautiful with a courtyard and a gazebo to die for. Beware of the lack of staff at this location. It would take you very long time to check-in, ask any questions at the front desk, getting your room key card re-activated. For hotels like this one that utilizes cheap room key cards should tell expected guest never to place these cards near your cellphone, any magnetize metals or any radio transmitting devices like cd players, mp3s, radios, watches, etc. When you finally reach the front desk, make sure you ask all of your questions and concerns at that time, you may not get another chance.”

• The living/bedroom area was very spacious.
• The bathroom was tiny. Had to close the door to sit on the commode.

“At first I was annoyed that they had overbooked, but the accommodations at the Residence Inn were nice and the complimentary breakfast was great.”

• The restaurant was very good for breakfast and the staff was very courteous.
• The swimming pool had not been cleaned and there were beer bottles scattered about from the night before. Towel rack broken in bathroom.

“The room was very nice but the pool was disappointing and we did not like our towels being stacked on the back of the toilet because the towel rack had not been fixed.”

• The hotel had a damp smell on the air.

“My overall stay was good, however, the smell of the hotel was not very pleasant once you entered the building. The rooms were very clean and the staff was very nice.”

• Pool was sorely in need of shock and chlorine - - disgusting.

“The bedside phone did not work. A continental breakfast would have been nice or even coffee urns that contained coffee. Access to the internet was a nice amenity. Working phones are expected.”

“The hotel was very clean and in a convenient location, but many of the amenities expected with a Marriott was not there. Complimentary breakfast, extra towels, etc. The staff was unfriendly and unresponsive. We needed extra towels both days and had to call the front desk a minimum of three times before they would respond. Annoying, but fine otherwise.”

• There was a fairly nice continental breakfast.
• The towels were too thin & small for bathing.

“The location of the hotel was convenient to the function I needed to attend. The quality was consistent with what I've come to expect from Marriott. My stay was uneventful and unremarkable - and that's not a bad thing!”

• Very clean.
• The portacrib was not in the room when we got there and we had to remind them twice that we needed one.

“Also, they supply you with a pack and play as a port a crib, which is fine but they expect you to use a sheet that doesn't really fit that mat. Its loose and very dangerous and it shouldn't even be offered to the guests, or perhaps a run to a local babies rues or target and get the sheets made for pack and plays would be a good idea, since its dangerous.”

“It is quiet and well maintained. Staff was friendly and provided all requested information about the area. The buffet breakfast was a bit pricy and we did not know until we ate that there was a $8.50 charge.”

• Convenient parking, multiple entrances, close to restaurants, easy to find, close to multiple venues of interest.
• Few rooms with connecting doors. One bathroom in need of remodeling.

• It has a pleasant environment and is close to the interstate and airport.

“When I arrived at the hotel the staff did not seem as welcoming as the past instances I had stayed at the hotel. I was placed in a handicapped room with two beds. When I inquired at the hotel the receptionist seemed displeased. I felt that placing me into a handicapped room was unprofessional due to the possibility of someone else actually requiring the services of the room being inconvenienced due my occupying the room without a handicap access need.”

“Decent hotel in a decent location. Barely meets 2.5* standards. Stayed in a Fairfield inn in Shalimar, fl the next night & was much superior to this courtyard. Its my understanding that the Marriott corp. Rates their courtyards higher than Fairfield inns. Not in this case. Would stay there again but would look for something better.”

“This is a nice hotel but the room had been beat up somewhat. There were some cosmetic things that needed to be attended to. The breakfast buffet was overpriced for what was offered. The food was sub-standard for the price.”

• Thin walls, very noisy from all sides of the room.

“Typical courtyard layout around a central swimming pool, common area with adjacent hot tub/spa. Rooms were satisfactory, everything was clean and orderly. Sheets and comforters were perhaps passed their prime and were due to be replaced. The rooms needed soundproofing as noise from the courtyard; hallway and adjacent rooms were quite loud and irritating. Temperature control was extremely difficult within the room and fairly cold in the common areas. The breakfast was not included in the room price and at $12.50 p/p was no better than the complimentary breakfast typical of a Hampton inn hotel. Overall an ok experience.”
