“Not a good experience at all. Stayed at the Marriott across the street from this hotel. The service staff lacked professionalism and hospitality. The rooms were smelly and the furniture very outdated.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Lynn from Owensboro, KY
“This is the worst hotel. This is the second time we got this motel.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Terry from Franklin, TN
“This place was nasty, filthy, and the hotel person left at 11 pm. We needed more pillows which never came. I walked on the carpet with my shoes on. This hotel was a two-star. That was very deceptive and dishonest. This one would be a stretch to make a one-star.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Cynthia from Fort Walton Beach, FL
“This is a one star hotel. It was just not clean at all.” Aug 28, 2008 by
Dave from Jasonville, IN
“The room wasn't very clean, the sheets had make-up on them, there was hair on the bathroom floor, and the carpets were sticky. We asked for extra sheets for the sofa bed and no one brought them to us.” Aug 21, 2008 by
Wanda from Lawrenceville, GA
“The hotel for the price was fine with the exception of them not cleaning your room unless you stay 4 nights or more. I mean even hotel six cleans your room if you stay more than 1 night.” Aug 19, 2008 by
Travis from Moncks Corner, SC
“I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and had all the necessities that were needed, extra blankets, fully furnished kitchen, extra pillows, 2 phones and a pull out sofa.” Jul 21, 2008 by
Rob from Evansville, IN
“Would not recommend to anyone!” Jul 8, 2008 by
Tyrone from Knoxville, TN
“Performance of staff was less than expected. We arrived at midnight and found no staff available to check us in. A sign on the door said the person was on site and would return shortly. No one returned. I called the required number and was told that someone would be coming to check us in. After five times calling, someone came at 1:00am. We were very tired.” Jun 16, 2008 by
Michael from Bayside, TX
“Trashy. I want my money back. I felt my life was at risk. Drug hangout.” May 24, 2008 by
John from Sun Lakes, AZ
“Bad. It is dirty. The doors were broken off the kitchen cupboards. There were stains on all the furniture and carpets. The toilet was broken and only worked marginally. The outdoor pool was closed perhaps permanently. The only good thing is the staff was helpful and friendly. (However, staff is not on premises 24 hours. You are on your own in the late evening!) My advice: Don't stay here!” May 18, 2008 by
John from Jackson, AL
“Good place for rest, but amenities are limited. Strictly business of providing an inexpensive place for rest.” May 7, 2008 by
Todd from Hoover, AL
“I had concern for safety. My room and the common areas reeked of smoke. The bathroom was not very clean.” May 3, 2008 by
David from Marietta, GA
“Works for a quick overnight. Not the best but you won't run screaming from the room.” Apr 19, 2008 by
Teresa from Newark, OH
“This was a wonderful hotel. We had a week-long stay and the kitchen was a lifesaver. We brought along groceries and were able to cook, and we even baked cookies for our relatives. The room was comfortable and quiet. It was very spacious, even the bathroom. My husband and I had the bed and our kids were able to sleep on a hide abed/couch. We had wireless internet too!” Apr 13, 2008 by
Jeff from Ridgeland, MS
“Great for business travelers not luxurious, but functional. Full kitchen is great.” Apr 10, 2008 by
Nick from Marietta, GA
“This hotel by no means should be a 2 star. Internet access is about the speed of dial up if it works at all. Front desk does not answer the phone if you call from your room cause she is on the phone with her friends. Seriously.” Apr 10, 2008 by
Wade from Glencoe, AL
“If you are looking for a cheap hotel that has kitchen for extended stay this is good, beware rooms are not very clean and hallways are filthy. It is my opinion that the maids could care less about cleaning your room. I would give this a 1 star rating for the rooms and internet which is very slow.” Apr 8, 2008 by
Kathie from Hartwell, GA
“The staff was friendly and helpful. However upon entering the hotel, the hallways had an unpleasant odor as well as our room. We saw no elevator in sight so we took the stairs. The bathroom was very clean as well as the bedding. The carpeting in general seemed to be in need of cleaning.” Apr 8, 2008 by
Selwyn from Florence, AL
“I would stay again and would also refer friends to stay.” Apr 8, 2008 by
Cecelia from Comstock Park, MI
“I was traveling by myself to attend my daughter's graduation from the Air Force at Maxwell AF base in Montgomery. I did not stay at this hotel because of the reasons mentioned and did not feel safe to be here by myself.” Mar 29, 2008 by
Travis from Moncks Corner, SC
“I enjoyed my stay; I was impressed with the comfort of the room along with the service. I did get my money's worth. This hotel is a great place for business related travels as well as vacations for the family as the rooms are spacious and has the amenities for a long stay.” Mar 20, 2008 by
Bryan from Parrish, AL
“We had 3 rooms at this hotel. All but one of the rooms was disgusting. There was dirt on the table tops, crumbs in the kitchen, a smell that could not be found, and dishes were sticky, the iron was missing from 2 of the rooms, there was no alarm clock in one of the rooms. One alarm clock played music constantly when the alarm was set; there were stains on the loveseats. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. I would not even give it one star.” Mar 17, 2008 by
Jeff from Ridgeland, MS
“It has a problem that all hotels seem to have nowadays: stains on the furniture and carpet. It may not be convenient to steam clean often, but there are good spot cleaners available.” Mar 11, 2008 by
Gerry from Winston-Salem, NC
“All studio pluses are dumps I would not even rate them as a one not alone the two star you gave it. Also how so you expect two adults to sleep in a room with one bed. You need to use just hotels that accommodate two adults. I did not want to stay there once we saw it, but since it is already paid for we had no choice. It was also so dirty and ran down the bed was not comfortable.” Mar 7, 2008 by
Nick from Marietta, GA
“Completely unimpressed with this place. This hotel is 1 star at best. Front desk does not answer the phone cause they are on the phone with friends. Internet creeps, and it is definitely not high speed.” Feb 21, 2008 by
Lee from Calera, AL
“There were a few roaches in my room; the hallways had a musty smell, the TV was outdated and the couch was in bad shape.” Feb 19, 2008 by
Pius E. from Memphis, TN
“The hallways smelled like processed meat. The carpet in the room was stained. The extra blanket for the sofa bed smelled like smoke.” Feb 18, 2008 by
Tim from Glencoe, AL
“This hotel is very good for somebody on a budget, but it is not very clean. Bathrooms are not very clean. It has a full kitchen which is great for people that are there working.” Feb 14, 2008 by
Jessie from Watertown, NY
“It was perfect for the price I paid and I would definitely stay again, very convenient to everything I needed.” Feb 8, 2008 by
Nick from Marietta, GA
“Was stuck in smoking room though, I did not want one. Front desk never answered phone and when I walked down to see why, she was using business phone to talk and BS with her friends. Internet connection was a serious joke. I could get faster results on dial-up. Overall this is a 1 star hotel, if that.” Feb 5, 2008 by
Mary from Douglasville, GA
“I would recommend this hotel to families traveling with children as there was a bed and sofa bed. The price is great and the hotel is clean.” Feb 2, 2008 by
Bev from Augusta, GA
“This hotel is a nightmare. The same idiot girl working at night. Each time she insists that there is no reservation. Each time she takes forever to answer the phone and allow you into the lobby while you stand outside in the dark. She tells you that she doesn't have a reservation and that there are no rooms and you will have to leave. The first time, I produced a saved copy of the reservation by dragging my laptop in and showing her the screen. Then after close to a half hour of arguing, I received a room key to a room best described as a basement dungeon. At least it was a place to sleep for a few hours. This last time, same scene except she kept telling us there were no rooms and that it was our fault. When I pointed to a fax machine with a paper hanging out of it and asked if that could be our reservation- what a miracle, it was. Still no room and our fault. After extended arguing, it was decided that a sister property might have a room. If I hadn't demanded that, I would have been sleeping in my car after paying for this room. The sister property just down the road was extremely competent and watched for my arrival in the parking lot, brought out the key and paperwork to my car, then helped me carry bags into the room. They told me to check with the office in the morning, as their computer system was down and that they just wanted to get me in a room for right then. I checked in the morning, and the office at the sister property said it was taken care of. The idiot at the property where I had my reservation really needs to find a job she can handle. I have no idea what that would be, but it is definitely not the one she has. I would be horrified if a friend received this property and was treated this way. I travel constantly and stay in hotels more than 30.” Jan 28, 2008 by
Kevin from Villa Rica, GA
“The Hotel smelled very bad, not the clean. Rooms need to have the carpet cleaned or replaced; the walls were in need of at least paint. Non smoking room had cigarette burns everywhere. The worst hotel I ever stayed.” Jan 26, 2008 by
Karl from Anniston, AL
“This place looks ok on the outside but the clerk was more interested in her TV show than us. The room was awful. Temperature was 93 Degrees F when we first entered. It took literally hours to get the temperature down to normal. The kitchen was dirty, stove was taken apart, nasty crunch dish towels, the bath towels weren't mush better. We used the towels we brought with us instead. Neither of the phones in the room would work properly. Bad cable or jacks I think.” Jan 24, 2008 by
Michelle from Enterprise, AL
“The front desk employee was very helpful. The cleanliness was fine the first time I stayed. I imagine that this is just a temporary problem, due to a not-so-motivated housekeeper. The rooms are more like little studio apartments. I felt very safe because all exit/entry doors aside from the one in the front lobby, required the room key to unlock.” Nov 13, 2007 by
Candi from Harvest, AL
“Studio plus Montgomery is a very nice 2 star stay. Its secure indoor entry, pleasant staff, and central & safe location were bonuses to the room itself. The room was spacious and well maintained except for the bathroom, which needed a thorough floor cleaning to alleviate the sticky floor and urine smell. Overall, it's a good place to stay and Id stay there again.” Nov 3, 2007 by
Ronald from Bay Minette, AL
“Worth the money, but needs some improvements.” Oct 25, 2007 by
Stephen from Atmore, AL
“The hotel is idea for cooking, has a full size stove/oven. If I had known, I would have cooked in my room and not gotten take out.” Oct 25, 2007 by
Mildred from Huntsville, AL
“Was very pleasant and comfortable and very good location. Peaceful.” Oct 7, 2007 by
Freda from Falkville, AL
“This hotel was not even what I expected. This hotel was very outdated (1970's) furniture & TV. This hotel housed construction workers' doing work in the area. When we arrived, the desk clerk hesitated even showing us a room. When we went to look at the room, several of the room doors were open & they were cooking, what smelled like fish. We looked at the room & stated to the clerk. No thank you we will find a room somewhere else. Unfortunately we lost our money.” Sep 27, 2007 by
Lewis from Columbus, GA
“Good location, comfortable.” Sep 4, 2007 by
Ruth E. from North Fort Myers, FL
“This hotel was not a very clean hotel the carpets were dirty. And very smelly in my daughters room and it was her birthday. I asked for another room. They gave me some deodorizers to spray the room and floor. We did not have any where to go so we had to stay there. When I knocked on the door to let the hotel attendant know how a miss the hotel was in she saw me knocking on the window but she refused to answer me it took her 10 to 15 minutes to answer me she was on the phone. She had closed the blinds like she did not want to be bothered. But I could see her under the blinds. If I ever have to go back to Montgomery al. Please do not give me that hotel. The housekeeper who ever cleaned the room left her trash in the rooms and dirty cleaning rags.” Aug 23, 2007 by
Richard from Houston, TX
“I called to verify our reservations. I was told I would have to pay extra for a room with a fold out couch because we were two adults and two children. The pool was out of order. The hotel was in a seedy neighborhood, although surrounded by other hotels. Some people came to drink around the closed pool and that made my wife nervous. We had asked for a non-smoking room. We were sent to a room that reeked of smoke. A lady who was working there said all the rooms smelled like that. Fortunately, we were giving another room that smelled a bit better.” Aug 17, 2007 by
Jean from Warner Robins, GA
“Would stay there again for business travel. Easy to find, right off the interstate.” Aug 15, 2007 by
Levy W. from Birmingham, AL
“The room I was moved into was not that much better but I did not want to cause any trouble so I just stayed out as long as I could and then came back to the room.” Jul 31, 2007 by
Dah from Montmorenci, SC
“Not what I would choose again for a one nighter.” Jul 29, 2007 by
Billy from New Orleans, LA
“This is a great hotel when you are traveling and just need a comfortable clean room that is plenty spacious and has convenience of a full kitchen. We loved it and were glad to be sent there both coming and going on our trip.” Jul 29, 2007 by
Gerald from Baltimore, MD
“Everything you need and nothing more.” Jul 25, 2007 by
Fontella from College Park, GA
“Would recommend to family and friends.”
