“Warning.” Jul 31, 2008 by
Gail from Milwaukee, WY
“We found the hotel and room to be lovely. The decor was great, nice bed, flat screen TV, Bose radio, puffy towels, and spotlessly CLEAN! Unfortunately the location was not where the map indicated and the surrounding neighborhood does not do this hotel justice. I did enjoy the hotel so much that we still might return to it.” Jul 2, 2008 by
James from Grand Rapids, MI
“They were a bit short handed. The lady was nice at the counter. The place was fairly nice except there were some sort of flies or bugs in the bathtub (some dead and some not dead).” May 1, 2008 by
Michael from East Leroy, MI
“Overall, it was adequate, but it is not very handicap-friendly and there are no luggage carts or people to help get you to your room.” Apr 16, 2008 by
Liz from Ann Arbor, MI
“A great find! Excellent location close to Notre Dame and St. Mary's. I was pleasantly surprised at the elegant decor in the room and plentiful amenities. With two pools (indoor and outdoor) and a restaurant on site, it's a great choice for a weekend in South Bend.” Mar 9, 2008 by
Lynn from Howe, IN
“I was under the impression that the hotel would have been farther out of town than it was. I was glad to realize it was closer than I thought. The water pressure was a bit disappointing, but the room was still good. The lobby was warm and welcoming and made me feel welcome, the staff could take a lesson from it. They should smile and greet the guest sincerely, people can tell if you like your job or if you are just there because you have to be.” Feb 21, 2008 by

“Difficult to get to the main lobby from the rooms.” Feb 20, 2008 by

“Very convenient location in regards to the Notre Dame campus. Very nicely decorated with nice large rooms. It was nice to have a refrigerator and microwave, also. The TV didn't have too many stations, but it was a nice large LCD flat screen built into the wall.” Nov 4, 2006 by
Eileen from Whittier, CA
“The hotel was a great location for the Notre Dame game. They are going through a remodel and the front of the hotel and the lobby where very nice. But were placed in the back of the hotel and it was in need of a lot of TLC.” Aug 24, 2005 by
Andrew Blumhardt from Normal, IL
“Great location and staff. My wife and I were shocked at how poorly maintained and dirty our room was. Our first room had wet carpets, peeling wallpaper, rusty air conditioner, stained walls, moldy bathroom, stained toilet, and outdated furniture. After several calls the staff upgraded us to a nicer room but again the furniture was outdated and the floor turned your feet black if you were brave enough to go barefoot. The entire hotel except for the lobby was in poor repair. The staff, location, and pools were great. I definitely do not recommend this hotel to anyone with small children that need to crawl on the floor. The location is good but hardly good enough to make up for the price. If you want a run down Motel 6 for the price of a Ramada Inn then this is the place for you.” 3 of 3 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
