Dave from Valparaiso,IN
“Nice, breakfast was okay. Shower water not hot enough for me, I heard others at the desk complaining about no hot water. Maybe you shouldn't expect too much for a two star Jun 30, 2009 by
Diane from Zion,IL
“The room was large enough where I didn't feel crowded. The king size bed was comfortable, but the sofa bed was a little worn. The room was clean and pleasant. It was quiet except for an occasional airplane flying by. The breakfast was not the best, but enough. I would have preferred more brand names instead of food from companies I had never heard of. The fruit was over ripe and bruised, and the breakfast area was crowded. There were not enough tables.” Jun 30, 2008 by
Rachel from Waterloo, IA
“We will not go to a Quality Inn and suites again we got smoky, smelly rooms, no coffee or cups at breakfast, the food ran out before the breakfast time. This is our family's once a year vacation. We like having pleasant memories. I wonder what a plane ticket would be like! I'd guess” Jan 3, 2008 by
Pemberton from Celina, OH
“A good place to stay, if you want to be on the west side of south bend. plenty of good places to eat near by. Downtown is only a couple of miles away. if we were to return, we would stay again.” Jan 2, 2008 by
Wandra from Woodbridge, VA
“The hotel was as expected for a 2.5 star. The check-in staff was very polite and helpful. The staff that assisted following check-in would benefit from additional customer service training.” Oct 1, 2007 by
John from Waukesha, WI
“It was nice. The rooms were pretty good sized. They had a nice TV with remote and a refrigerator. The continental breakfast was outstanding. About the only flaws I noticed were the location (not a bad part of town, but not the nicest--near the airport) and the spa which was not very deep and had very weak jets.” Sep 6, 2007 by
Shawn from Liverpool, NY
“I can not say enough badly about this hotel. I have stayed in many hotels in south bend and this is by far the worst hotel in the area. The manager was as rude as possible and only seemed to care about how much money he could charge. The breakfast was a joke and the pool was closed when we checked in. Even though it was 90 degrees outside them only turn on the a/c when you go down and complain. Then it only worked for 8 hours at a time. Save yourself and go someplace else!” Aug 20, 2007 by
Jim from Greenwood, IN
“It does not meet my expectations of 2.5star hotel by any stretch of the imagination.” Jul 25, 2007 by
Gail from Milwaukee, WI
“This is a delightful, clean hotel with accommodating staff and is located near numerous restaurants and stores. I would highly recommend it to business travelers as well as families or seniors.” Apr 25, 2007 by
Glenn from Kirkland, WA
“The hotel was met my expectations. ” Apr 19, 2007 by
John from Bellingham, WA
“Hotel is close to south bend's airport. Hotel paid for taxi from airport, but we tipped the driver. The cabbie complained about getting paid by the hotel, said the clerk sometimes refused to pay, so I went with him and she paid. In the morning I was told to "walk to the airport, it's not far." it was an unpleasant walk with no sidewalks most of the way. The hotel van, marked "shuttle" was parked near the front door. No driver I guess. The morning breakfast was space. No fruit at all. Cold cereal some various sweet rolls and bagel. I was embarrassed by the offering for a group of German guests whom I shared breakfast with during our stay. Room was ok, not great. Towel storage rack was about to fall off of the wall. Next time I will stay somewhere else.” Mar 25, 2007 by
Susan from South Whitley, IN
“Although I was only there one night the people at the front desk were very accommodating and helpful. I was given respect and that was much appreciated.” Mar 19, 2007 by
Elijah from Purcellville, VA
“Close the airport, but not in a desirable neighborhood. Was not very clean. Had a funny smell. The staff was complacent and inhospitable as if they were selling tickets on the subway. There were always people yelling in the halls, even at 2am, which were by no means sound proof. There were not enough electrical outlets for the wall lights and to charge my laptop and cell phone. In short, I had a bad experience and will not stay at this hotel again. I don't recommend it for business, and certainly not for family travel.” Jan 10, 2007 by
Cathy from Logansport, IN
“It was a decent value, but not great. The area of town was very shady.” Hotel Representatives:
