“This hotel has an impressive lobby, but the rooms are only adequate, much of the help not helpful or English speaking, and the breakfast buffet offers a lot of flies, even though the food is mostly hot and the help personal.” Aug 6, 2008 by
Debbie from Franklin, TN
“An adequate place to stay. Personnel was very nice.” May 21, 2008 by
Don from Amherstburg, ON CA
“A place to put your head for a nights sleep but you get what you pay for. The extra that we got was 2 nests of sparrows in the AC/heating unit that started their day off at 4:30 AM, no need for a wake up call with little ones chirping for food.” May 15, 2008 by
Deborah from Talbott, TN
“Hallways locked was my first clue this may not be a safe hotel. Then when the ladies in black leather halter top and tattoos showed up my fears were confirmed. I had 3 teenage girls in the group and I was concerned about their safety. We stayed away from the hotel as much as possible returning only to sleep. The pool was not opened and didn't look like it would be open any time soon. The hot breakfast was very disappointing.” Mar 18, 2008 by
Amber from Martin, MI
“It was clean, room was spacious, and the staff was friendlier and very courteous.” Nov 14, 2007 by
Stella from Louisville, KY
“The hotel was nice; the only thing is they need an elevator. I know it only has two levels, but it still should have an elevator for guess, dragging luggage up steps is not fun.” Oct 16, 2007 by
June from Murray, KY
“Staff was friendly and hotel was clean though carpet was showing some signs of wear. Breakfast offered with stay was so in taste. You had to pay for your drink.” Aug 2, 2007 by
Regine from Nolensville, TN
“The renovations done at the Ramada made the room very appealing. It was quite a nice experience to stay there. The location is nice and they have a pool and restaurant bar on the property so the parking lot is full. Only thing that did not meet our standards was the non-smoking. Unfortunately, there was smoke in the hallways and that traveled around and could be smelled in the room. We understand that it is difficult to control the actions of guests in the rooms at times, but it's not fair to a guest to expect a smokeless room and still smell smoking.” Jul 26, 2007 by
Kevin from Taylorville, IL
“Hotel was in the bet location for us this trip staff was attached restaurant where breakfast was very good the cleanliness in halls away from the lobby and in the stair wells was poor.” Jul 8, 2007 by
Becky from Bryant, AL
“Overall, a great place to stay. Manager of restaurant was not too smart. Food was good. Everything was clean, everyone friendly. Would go back.” Jul 7, 2007 by
Christina from Brownsburg, IN
“The hotel was cheap and only for one night as we passed through Bowling Green. It was not as clean as I would expect and there was mold on the bathroom walls which caused me breathing trouble. Also, if our room had already undergone renovations, they need to rethink the tacky mismatched wallpaper border.” May 16, 2007 by
Scott from Kokomo, IN
“If you're looking for a place to eat, sleep, and shower, this is your place. If you're looking for accommodations that have anything to do with "nice," then head on down the road.” Feb 18, 2007 by
Tonya from Memphis, TN
“Check-in was quick and easy. You had to have 2 keys to enter the building one for the outside door and one for your room. They have the computerized card keys, so why not invest and put them on the outside doors also. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was really a wholesome meal. ” Sep 28, 2006 by
Edward from Saint Clair Shores, MI
“Not to bad for the money.” Sep 5, 2006 by
sherrie from shelbyville
“We were up there for the 12th anniversary corvette convention, and even though they're remodeling the hotel, our room was great! and the staff was so nice, and a joy to talk to. I will stay here again when I come back through the area.” Aug 15, 2006 by
Dorothy from Memphis, TN
“In a few short words, clean, safe, and comfortable.” Jun 29, 2006 by
Jan from Yo, OH
“This building is so rundown outside that we did not want to stay. The room itself was clean in the extreme, however, everything was very old in the room too, but clean. Ironing board cover and iron were nice and in good shape, so was the built in hair dryer. But everything else was old.” Jun 20, 2006 by
St E. from Greeley, CO
“Overall poor experience. The hotel is in great need of remodeling. For the price not worth a dime of it. Not a secure facility. locks to building were broken and entry room doors would not latch properly. Only good thing found was outdoor swimming pool was clean. Other than that, stay away.” Jun 6, 2006 by
Victor from Lafayette, LA
“Clean but just adequate. Better Hotels at same rate in same area.” May 18, 2006 by
Randy from Lexington, KY
“We were just looking for a place to stay for one night. Rooms were clean and staff seemed friendly. It was obvious this was an older hotel and needed some sprucing up.” May 9, 2006 by
Mark from Ypsilanti, MI
“This hotel was NOT as described! The listing said that it was recently remodeled... if they considered 20 years ago recent, maybe. The hotel was dirty, the room had a strong odor and was not worth even $20 to stay in overnight. I was strongly disappointed in the quality and price of this hotel. Please remove this Ramada location from your listings, as it is not worth staying in. I am angry and feel misled about this hotel.” Apr 29, 2006 by
Bill from Frankfort, IL
“The hotel is situated near I65 which makes it handy in many ways. The room was clean, but was also in need of repair. The restaurant food was mediocre at best. The area was a bit noisy, but the bed was very comfortable which provided a restful nights sleep.” Mar 28, 2006 by
Carl from Iola, KS
“This was my worst overall experience. Hotel appeared run down almost seedy, room carpeting was worn and torn, exterior door latches did not work without effort.”
