• The memory foam bed.
• Too much chlorine in the hot tub.

“Over all the hotel was incredible and quiet. My stay there with my companion was very enjoyable. The only bad thing about it all was there was too much chlorine in the hot tub which caused me to break out with a rash.”

• Clean,
  the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
• There was a bug that looked like a small roach in the first room, but I was given another room.

• Easy walking distance to a number of restaurants. Foam bed was excellent.
• No refrigerator.

“Fairly typical Courtyard. The good - the memory foam mattress was excellent and the location was within walking distance of many restaurants (Double Dogs is a outstanding). The bad - no refrigerator, but you can't have everything.”

• Big bathroom.
• The inside pool wasn't warm enough.

“Nice for our family's short trip. Close to absolutely everything in bowling green. The hotel sold drinks and snacks for cheaper than the vending machines. Very satisfied with the Marriott experience.”

• Nice business center with internet.
• Price paid for this hotel higher than use to $65.00 for two and one half star.

“Typical courtyard, nice indoor pool and spa, elevator not operating when we arrived, main. Man helped with luggage up three flights of stairs.”

• Bedding and pillows are top notch.
• Television channels were limited/ not much to watch.

“On this occasion the bathroom had a water leak behind commode, other than that it is still the best place available in bowling green.”

• We were close to Western KY University and it had a pool.
• No complimentary breakfast.

“We only needed a hotel for a night close to Western Kentucky University. We were not there long, but we did use the pool. The room was clean and the beds comfortable.”

“Nice, but, we left the room to get breakfast and came back and the housekeeping staff was in our room cleaning, when we were scheduled to check out in 2 hours. Inconvenient.”

“Nasty, dirty, and smelly best describes this hotel there was trash in the floor (French fries and beef jerky) the carpet needed shampooing the toilet was loose from the floor. Some of the towels were not clean and had a spoiled smell. The elevator fell about 6 inches when I stepped in it prompting me to notice there is no elevator inspection certificate. There was what looks like deodorant on the dust ruffle (if it is not deodorant I don't want to know) and the dust bunnies hanging out of the HVAC were too early for Easter.”

• a little further off the beaten path than expected

• Appeared very clean and in a great location.
• The maids were so eager to clean our room in the morning we felt a little rushed.

“I loved this hotel and would stay here again. The service was great, the hotel was clean, the pool was at a comfortable temperature for my kids to swim. It was only a couple of miles off the highway and had lots of restaurants near by for dinning.”

• The hotel was an excellent value for the area in which we stayed.
• The toilet plugged up during our stay and the hotel didn't have a maintenance person working, they gave me a plunger.

“This was a nice clean hotel, located in a very convenient location. With exception of not having a maintenance person on duty at all times, the staff was very cordial. However they did tell me they would take money off my stay for having to unclogging our own toilet and did not.”

• Located close to our son. Had very good hot tub
• First got non smoking room that had been smoked in. They corrected, but room stunk

“I would stay there anytime. I visit my son who lives in BG and stay at Holiday Inn, or Courtyard. Both are great. People at Courtyard were very friendly, and changed our room very fast.”

• Very nice hotel and I was able to choose my room type.

“This hotel is a very nice hotel for the price that I paid. I also asked about complimentary upgrades and they would have done this for us, but they did not have any suites available.Thanks.”

• The hotel was neat and clean.
• Too far from the interstate highway.

“Very nice hotel; however, didn't like the fact that we had to pay $7.95 for breakfast. Would have preferred a simpler continental type breakfast that was free.”

“Easily found w/ amenities that you would expect from marriott. Plus, they had an area by the front desk where you could purchase snacks, drinks, etc. Nice touch that I had never seen in a motel.”

“The rooms were large and spacious. The staff was very friendly. There was plenty of channels of cable to watch, and a nice pool and whirlpool to enjoy. I had an excellent stay, mostly because the hotel catered to my every need.”

“We had a Non-smoking King room and the mattress was incredible (tempurpedic.) The room was clean and well kept. Typical hotel room with desk and sitting area. Free High Speed Wireless Internet Access was a bonus. They also had a computer in the lobby for guests to use if you don't have a laptop. Small indoor pool with hot tub and workout area, but one of only a couple of Bowling Green hotels with an indoor pool. Breakfast was a little pricey, so we just went to Denny's up the road instead. Staff were very helpful and friendly.”

“Courtyard by Marriott is almost always consistently nice. The hotel in Bowling Green, KY is very much like what you would expect. Clean and the free high speed internet is a great bonus.”
