• Excellent staff.
• Lack of power outlets to charge phone, computer, etc.

“The hotel rooms, etc. are the standard 2 bed room but it does have a couple nice upgraded features such as a microwave and refrigerator. What I found far above today's standard was the staff. In all of the types of businesses that provide a product or service to the public it is rare to find employees who care about the customer's needs. This Hampton Inn has several employees who truly are above the grade. One in particular, and I wish I got her name so I could send a personal note of appreciation, helped me out of a jam. True quality staff!”

• Close to the ocean, free hot breakfast, clean rooms, quick cleaning service.
• The hot tub was too small.

“I absolutely loved this hotel! It far surpassed any of my expectations. The breakfast is wonderful, hot, free, and a buffet-so you can eat as much as you want! My room was clean, and ready at 2pm when we arrived (even though check-in isn't guaranteed until 4pm). The hotel was quick to offer maps of the area and gave us advice on close restaurants, bars, churches, and fun activities.”

• This hotel is very close (walking distance) to the ocean. The free breakfast is very good.
• The room we had was a bit small but as it was only my husband and myself, that didn't pose a problem.

“My husband and myself enjoyed staying at this hotel. The staff was friendly, the hotel was at a stoplight so it was easy to get in and out. We also enjoyed how close it was to the beach-a very short walk. There is also a very good restaurant (The Back Porch) that we could walk to and it was right on the beach!”

• It was within 200 yards of beach. It was right off of Hwy 98 and close proximity to shops/restaurants.
• The rooms were not very big. There were no exercise/gym rooms. Nobody spoke good English.

“This was pricey motel not hotel. I did like the closeness to the beach and shops on Hwy 98. Hardly any of the staff spoke good English. They were all foreigners with broken English. Not enough parking. Good breakfast.”

• Micro/ fridge combo. These need to be in all hotels!
• Outside access, no elevator, or at least not one in the vicinity of my room.

“Hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. The front desk manager drew a map to my room, told me where I could park my car. No fitness center was a bummer.”

• If you eat breakfast, it does have a fairly good one.
• Needs to be cleaner in the rooms.

“It's just and average hotel, nothing special. Staff was more interested in other things then checking us in. Don't bother asking them anything, they never know anything about the area. If you don't care about the place you are staying in, then this will do fine. I expect more, this Hampton doesn't rate with the others (Hampton Inn) I have stayed in.”

• The price and location.
• The air conditioning went out.

“The beach accesses at this hotel is pretty good, and is easy to leave and return without any major traffic problems. The price is a little better than most in the area, the continental breakfast is excellent, and the pool is very clean and well kept. I stayed in room 237 the air conditioning wasn't working very well the first day we got there, so I called the front desk to get it checked, I never saw anybody come to check .the day we were to check out when we came back from breakfast around 9:00a.m the air condoning went completely out. I called the front desk and someone came to fix it within the hour. It was fixed 20 minutes before we checked out.”
