• The staff was wonderful and helpful. They always had a smile.
• The mattress was way too firm and I had to sleep on the pull out couch.

“The overall hotel and location was wonderful. The only problem I had was with the firmness of the mattress and that was just because of my own back problems. The hotel and staff was wonderful.”

• The hotel gave us a room discount for screwing up and there is a small park with rides next to hotel.
• The room was not ocean view, we booked a balcony king size and got neither.

“Reminded me of why I don't stay at Best Western.”

• The staff was very friendly and helped answer all questions as best they could.
• The wicker headboards creaked a little and we were told we had an ocean view but did not.

“This hotel is across the street from the beach but does not have a view. The rooms are large, spacious, and comfortable. The artwork on the walls was something I would have in my own home and we had a comfortable stay. The staff is very nice and helps in any way they can. The hotel also has nice pools, hot tub, business center, and fitness rooms.”

• After I complained, they moved me to a different room.
• The next day, when I woke up, I noticed that in the shower wall had mode and on the side of the mattress, it had stains.

“At 4:00am, when I checked in the hotel, I did not look in the restroom. However, when I woke up, I noticed that the bed that my daughter was sleeping in had stains on the side of the bed. Next, when I decided to take a shower, I noticed that there was mode surrounding the tube. After I noticed, I spoke to the desk clerk and they moved me to another room, which was not any better. I would not stay there again.”

• It was nice and clean, the staff was real friendly, during the time of my stay it was always nice and quiet and the bed was very comfortable.

“I enjoyed my stay at best western and I probably would stay again, the staff was so friendly and always greeted you with a smile. The location was very convenient and I would recommend anyone to stay there while on vacation because I felt I got my monies worth.”

• I wished we had a double bed.

• Convenient to everything in Destin.
• Other than Henderson beach not easy beach access.

“It was great for a family. The pools were nice and hotel was centrally located. Although beach access was not with in easy walking distance, Henderson beach state park was just a block and a half away with a mile and half of beautiful uncrowded beach. Would stay there again.”

• I really liked the fact that we were in walking distance to the beach (2 blocks straight) and other main attractions.
• The breakfast line was too long, one of the staff members wasn't nice or helpful, the internet didn't work as said.

“This is cute little place about 1.5 blocks from the beach, just got to cross the traffic light and walk down half a block. Great if u are on a budget! It's near the Big Kahuna and The Track. The only bad thing is the busy traffic on Hwy 98 that is non-stop and very dangerous. I totally recommend it.”

• The view was very nice and it was nice and quiet the front desk help was very good and helped out a lot on directions.
• I did not think the price was a good price for the quality of the hotel and the location was very hard to get across the street and back to the hotel.

“Overall the hotel was nice pleasant place to be it was quiet and the pool was relaxing not a lot of wild customer running up and down the halls and the staff was very friendly.”

• The hotel was very clean. Most all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. A very nice place to stay.
• Could have used a hot breakfast bar.

“This hotel was very clean. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. It was in a good location, however we did have to drive and park to get to the beach. The pools at the hotel were very nice and clean. We really enjoyed our stay there and are likely to stay there again.”

• After sleeping on the bed, my allergies were really bad along with my husband. Maybe mattress needs cleaning.

“Overall, we were pleased with this hotel and stay there. It was clean, easily accessible, great breakfast, friendly staff, and close to activities for children.”
