• We loved the location.
• They overbooked the water view, but re arranged and put us in one.

“The location was good for us. If you want true beach front, it would not be. We wanted the harbor atmosphere and to see the boats and to be able to walk to the harbor docks. Great food within walking distance. Nice pool and small 'beach'. Fridge in the room was nice. We had a slight problem with the booking, we booked ocean view but was told it was not available when we got there. But the manager came in and corrected the problem. I liked the 'small' hotel atmosphere. Not far to walk to pool or to your car.”

• The people (staff)! Very friendly and helpful!
• They were a few things that could be updated.

“The staff was very helpful and friendly! They were always available and more than willing to help you out with anything! It was nice being in a small hotel because we always saw people we knew the next day. We went to the wine tasting on Wednesday and it was a lot of fun. For the price, I would stay there again.”

• Had to pay $20 extra for a bayside view, which was beautiful.

“In general the hotel was close to the marina where our fishing trip launched from. The hotel was clean, but very old. For the price I had to pay you would have thought it was July 4th weekend. This price dictates a beachside room right on the beach. The room was old and small, and the bathroom tile was broken on the wall, and looked worn and tattered. I am used to staying in embassy suites so take that with a grain of salt, I am just used to better facilities. The staff was friendly and professional, and the pool area on the bay was nice. I wouldn't stay here again for one simple reason, the price. ”

• Excellent location close to all the restaurants and bars.
• Not a very big beach, but then again it are on the harbor and you get what you pay for.

“Very reasonably priced hotel that is best fitted for the person wanting to be close to all the restaurants and bars in Destin. Overall, a positive experience. Would suggest friends to stay there.”

• Staff was outstanding!
• No real beach.

“The staff was friendly, courteous and a great help. This hotel has obviously gone thru a major renovation and they are apparently trying to resurrect the place. And I think they are doing a good job. The beach they talk about is about 50 feet long, and a part of the harbor, not what you'd expect. Some of the ac units are pretty loud when you are sitting out on the balcony, but for the price I paid, I think it was a good stay. Now the restaurants in the area left a lot to be desired.”

• The staff was very friendly and helpful. Also, the hotel was very clean and passed my expectations.
• Could have been a little bit closer to beach access, but it's really not that far. (The harbor is beautiful!).

“I was very impressed with the inn on destine harbor. The staff was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Overall, the entire place was very clean and in order. The decor was very nice and the facilities were great. There is a great view of the beautiful harbor and a pool (although it was too cold to swim in the pool, but everything was in great shape). Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay and I would definitely recommend it to my friends and consider staying there again.”

• Free Continental Breakfast.
• Loud AC in room, not the best of nights sleep.

“Probably not worthy of ranking 3* but maybe 2 1/2. Check the sound of the ac before bedtime.”

• Very clean. always smelled fresh and clean. Up to date throughout all around the hotel. Very pleased.
• Could have had drink and snack machines on every floor. But not a big deal.

“Great View of the harbor with the beautiful boats all around. The cleaning staff was always cleaning something. Will be back to stay here whenever I come to Destin. Its not overly crowded either. Extremely pleased.”

• Bathrooms could be a little bigger.

• House warm family feeling when you get up to eat breakfast in the morning.
• Rooms were kind of small for the price of 109 per day.

“Overall, great experience. Good staff and a very pleasant place to relax and spend quality time with family.”

• Location was good. Close to good restaurants and Dolphin sightseeing boats.
• Glad I brought my confirmation. They had no record of my reservation..."computer crash".

“Good location. Nice view of the harbor. Pool. Certainly not fancy but adequate. Breakfast was included, with a decent array of quick-serve items. Right on the main drag 98--- and next door to the Marina cafe, which was a fabulous place to dine.”

• The breakfast was the only good thing about this horrible hotel!
• Didn't have the amenities that were listed.

“There was no microwave as stated (among other things that were listed to have been there), the room was dirty (in need of cleaning & repair) staff was rude.”
