“For the money, it was just a little short of what I expected. Decent hotel for budget conscious traveler.” Aug 14, 2009 by
Cecil from Birrmingham,AL
“It is a fair motel, but it fit our needs for a shot stay at a good price. On a liesurely vacation iI would probably not stay there.” Jul 19, 2009 by
Greg from Knox,IN
“Matter of fact it needs to be closed by the health Dept. Air Cond leak could not walk on carpet. It had roachs. Plan and simple it was just bad.” Feb 12, 2009 by
Joe from Livonia,MI
“The hotel is very run down. The outside looks abandon. Outside is not much better. Very outdated, & dirty. The Inn-credible breakfast is a joke. The selection consists of two bagels, two muffins, and watered down juice.” Sep 25, 2008 by

“Horrible overall!” Aug 17, 2008 by
Tim from Indianapolis, IN
“The room I checked into was not cleaned. I moved to a room at the end of a hall where a door slammed all night and guests across the hall were drink and loud. The WiFi did not work, so I could not do my online work. The hot water took 10 minutes to get to my room and the knob was stripped so I could not control the temperature.” Aug 4, 2008 by
Jamie from Hudson, MI
“I stayed at this hotel two summers ago. The hotel has really went downhill! The pool was closed, and when asked the staff couldn't give me a projected opening date for the pool? The staff was very friendly, but the hotel smells musky & moldy. The hotel is right next to a couple of very rowdy apartment complexes. The apartment complex residents drive through the hotel parking lot at fast rates of speed on a regular basis. I was flipped-off by a young female as she raced through the hotel parking lot after leaving the apartment complex? I will not stay at this hotel ever again. I have an eleven year old daughter that did not feel safe in the parking lot of this hotel.” Aug 1, 2008 by
Jed from Newburgh, IN
“Unkept. Run down. Pool closed. Elevators in 4 story building closed! No visibilble signs of ongoing work even. Dirty! Feeble attempts to poorly update throughout. Just plain poor!” Jul 29, 2008 by
Gabriel from Jeffersonville, IN
“When I checked in that night staff didn't look very professional. T-shirt, jeans, etc. Un professional decorum. When I checked out staff looked very professional, button shirts with hotel logo, courteous.” Jul 29, 2008 by
Michael from Flora, IN
“If you are just looking to catch some sleep before you travel to Brown County or visit Indiana University, this hotel is fine.” Jul 27, 2008 by
Amy from Carmel, IN
“The hotel is what you expect for the price. The rooms are large and clean but not luxurious and the staff was all friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn't like was that I do not believe the outside doors were locked at night and you didn't need a key to access the hotel.” Jul 22, 2008 by
Mariann from Marion, IN
“If I could of got my $ back I would have left within five minutes.” Jul 18, 2008 by
Dorothy from Cleveland, OH
“I have stayed in nicer places in third world countries. Up 3 floors with luggage as elevator was not working, bad smells, dark hallways, bugs in room, broken ironing board, peeling stucco on outside - get the point? If I had just been driving by and looking for a room, I would have never stopped. Bright spot - authentic Mexican restaurant next door!” Jul 11, 2008 by
Lesly from Hopkins, MN
“I thought that Country Hearth Inn was a dump. I felt like I couldn't trust the staff there and that it wasn't safe to leave valuables in the room, so everywhere I went, I had to take all my jewelry, camera, glasses, and other valuable things with me. The receptionist stated casually that the pool is closed for the season - no apologies for inconveniences (and the shape that the hotel is in - I probably would not use the pool even if it was working). I'm sure other hotels with the same class rating as this one would have been better.” Jun 29, 2008 by
Kim from Colorado Springs, CO
“I had a clean and clean - smelling room with a nice breakfast for very little money. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I'd definitely stay there again.” Apr 22, 2006 by
Lisa from West Brownsville, PA
“If we had planned on staying one night and then on our way it would have been tolerable but staying three nights it was difficult to come back to the hotel each night anticipating the smells and heat. The elevator and corridors were extremely hot and stuffy and had a strange odor. We will not stay at this hotel on our next visit to Bloomington.” Mar 20, 2006 by
Frank from Virginia Beach, VA
“Perfectly acceptable 2 star hotel on the edge of Bloomington. I wish I knew the names of the 2 front desk workers because they really were nice and helpful.” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.Feb 27, 2006 by

“This was a generally upsetting experience. We were looking for a romantic getaway and were very disappointed. The pool and fitness room advertise were closed due to "remodeling."” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Hotel Representatives:
