• Price and location.
• This hotel could stand to have some updating.

• It had an indoor pool for my niece.
• The spa was loud and did not work well in pool area.

“Quality Inn in Bloomington was a good location for business travelers on the go. I would not recommend the breakfast they serve, but it was nice to stay in for a night.”

• Access from highway was a little awkward.

“Very nice for the price, staff very helpful and nice. I stay in hotels/motels about 3 days a week on average and I have paid a lot more and gotten a worse hotel. I would recommend.”

“When entering the hotel the lobby appeared to be clean and attractive. My room was outdated and I felt that it was not clean.”

• Beds were comfortable.
• Spider webs in room.

“Hallways needed to be vacuumed. Back door was propped open with a rock, not too safe, especially at night. Room had spider webs all over ceilings. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were clean. Hot water takes a while to get hot.”

• Easy access to my car.
• The place smelled bad.

“It was the standard, by the side of the road, American motel. Slightly shabby, but adequate for one or two nights. I thought I had asked for a non-smoking room, but got a smoker instead. And it really smelled bad. So did the halls.”

• At arrival the door was open, bathroom not cleaned and no hot water in morning.

“As stated in q. #14. Upon arrival the door to room 212 was proper open, which gave rise to security issues. I wanted to shower after a long drive to Bloomington, but the bathroom was not clean. I arrived approx. 5 pm. The next morning when I went to take a shower, the water only got Luke warm. Quality inn has a 100% satisfaction guarantee. I was not satisfied with my accommodations! I would like a total refund. I am not interested in a free night at quality inn.”

• Cleanliness and staff as well as easy continental breakfast was easy to go on the road.

“The hotel location was perfect for where I had to be. The staff was friendly and talkative. The room was a nice size with a balcony with a beautiful view. Great hotel for its price and use!”

• Continental Breakfast was nice...location was nice for I visit.
• Would not provide a receipt upon checkout.

“Everything was fine until checkout. There is nothing lavish about this hotel. Would have preferred Marriott, but, they were booked. I would always prefer to have a receipt indicating the expenses I approved when leaving a hotel.”

• Friendliness/helpfulness of the front desk staff.
• Clean but needs updated-new carpet/paint. Mildew in shower, dingy carpet in hallway, looks old on the inside.

“The staff is very friendly. Not many extras--had shampoo but no lotion, shower cap, etc. Walls are very thin--it was cold and noisy. The price was a lot for what you got. I asked for non-smoking. They put me in non-smoking on Friday but in smoking on Saturday without telling me until I arrived. They did upgrade my room with Jacuzzi room for $10 more which was not bad but still would have liked to not pay anymore for a room. Back door did not open so they taped the mechanism so it was never locked--a little concerned for safety.”
