• Easy to find.
• No refrigerator, no microwave.

“The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. It would have been nice to have a mini-refrigerator and a microwave. I had to leave 5AM and was able to have breakfast even though it was not scheduled to open until 6 AM (thanks!) I feel it was a good value for the price.”

“It was fine overall. I was pleased with it. The room, linens and bathroom was clean. I didn't get to try the continental breakfast unfortunately since it's over at 9 am. • It was close to the Interstate.
• The room was filthy and the bedsheets were dirty.

“The maids obviously spend about 5 minutes cleaning each room as all 3 rooms in our group were filthy. One room smelled like marijuana, one room was plain filthy, and the 3rd room had a fingernail and leg hair on the sheets.”

“We requested non smoking room and they gave us a smoking room, we got it straight, but will never stay in this hotel again, we found a crack pipe by the bed so that said it all, they don't clean it very well. Too much noise.”

• The room was relatively clean for this very below average hotel.

“Over all our room was fairly clean for the quality of the hotel. Don't expect alot and you won't be disapointed. The
free internet service
would not work for us even after they moved us from room to room. The staff seemed friendly enough. This not a bad place, would recommend to the business traveler looking for a cheap stay, that's about it.”

• The only thing I can say positive was the fact the staff was pleasant and unclean.
• Unclean, nasty, smelling, leaking, etc.

“I would never ever stay at this hotel again in my life. I would not even put my pets in this hotel. The steps were broken off, no remote in the room, only one lighted worked in the whole entire room, no towels, no working ice machines on the floor.”

• No schedule of services offered at this particular hotel.

“First night I stayed there was no soap or shampoo and a lamp was broken. Staff took care of it immediately. Missed the free breakfast because no schedule was posted. I complained and received a free night for the next week. Better but still no times for the breakfast.”

• It was clean and the staff was nice.
• The high speed internet wasn't available in either room I rented. There were numerous people just hanging around outside when we arrived.

“We were only staying one night, the last night of our trip, in this area and didn't have high expectations. It was clean including the pool that the kids enjoyed. Other than the people just "hanging around" at the property it wasn't in the best location. It wasn't a bad neighborhood but it could be better. I'll recommend it.”

• Breakfast was free, but ran out of things quickly (creamer).
• Phone didn't work, stains on sheets.

“I was very disappointed. The phone did not work and they could not replace it or move me to another room. There were stains on the sheets. I will not stay at La Quinta without inspecting it first. Some of them are very nice.”

• The front desk guy.
• My room was right next to the pool. There were some other guests hanging out at the pool. They were really loud and obnoxious.

“I had a very pleasant experience at this hotel and the price was great. Staff was very nice and professional. Room was clean and spacious. Had a really good, healthy, free breakfast in the morning, too. However, they started breaking down breakfast stuff before 9am which was a little earlier I thought.”

• Thieves in the hotel, maids to be exact.

“I thought the whole experience was below grade. The general manager was a jerk, so she stated that she find me a room and couldn't guarantee anything. Real jerk. Plus some gentlemen in my party had there rooms robbed of some valuables and she basically blamed it on them, saying something about a safe in the lobby that we could have used, well personally my company and I do not like staying somewhere we cant trust to leave our belongings in the hotel.”

• The young man was very friendly and professional I noticed that while waiting to check in.
• The bathroom was not clean sink was full of toothpaste from a previous person.

“The staff was bothered by us when we asked for help about the shower not draining or the fact that they only left one towel in the room. The TV did not work and we only got 2 channels. The pool was closed. Breakfast was about the only thing this had going for it.”

“Check in went fine, friendly clerk. Upon entering room, noticed the faint smell of urine. No towels were in room, had to locate staff to ask and wait on them. Bathroom had mold and sticky floor. The dresser had empty and full beer cans in it. Beds were so hard that we could not sleep well. One bed did not have a blanket the first night. Internet did not work one day. One morning breakfast was not offered, which was probably a good thing. Food selection was poor. Other Guests we spoke with had similar or worse complaints.”

• I didn't get stabbed walking in the dimly lit parking lot to my trashy water damaged room.
• Bad area, poor maintenance, breakfast service was out", nasty room.

“This hotel was by far the scariest I have ever stayed in. The staff was not friendly. The ceiling in the room was patched and re-patched. It smelled and I am not certain the sheets were clean.”

• Non smoking room smells of smoke. Phone does not work. No curtains on window. Nasty bathroom. Worst breakfast ever.

“Hotel offers free breakfast, however, juice machine does not work, waffle machine does not work, no fruits, no Danish, bad coffee. Non smoking room smells like an ash tray, nasty bathroom, busted bed, phone does not work. Only good thing was the Iron and Ironing board, they both worked. Never again.”

• It was quiet, I did not hear allot of noise often,
• 20 words will not be enough, my experience was definitely not a good one.

“I have stayed at La Quintas before and had great service, this was terrible. I arrived a little earlier than 10:00pm but was given a room in the back upstairs. After caring all my things upstairs when we try to get into the room it is locked. That was due to the fact someone else was staying there. When we got back to the front there were no more rooms available for another hour so I had to wait or leave and come back. An hour and a half later when I returned we received a new room. The Key didn't work in the door so we had to wait for maintenance to come fix the problem. When we got into the room ready to settle, we realized not only was there some sort of cleaning utensil left in our bathroom, the floors were not completely done and there was a wash cloth in the toilet! Again we had to call someone to come and fix our issue. I was told numerous times that our movies were turned on and they would never load. After an hour of waiting since the desk clerk was sure they were on she decided to check again at what time she said they had not been in the mornings if you did not want room service, the maids would continuously beat on the door till you answered so you could sign their cleaning sheet stating you did not need anything and you didn't want the room clean. And beat is the word for what the proceeded to do. Beat and yell. I love La Quintas but I hope if I ever have to return to this one, it will be much better!”

“Very Clean hotel, smells like bleach when you enter the room. A TV is provided but you have to pay to watch anything, including movies. Twin beds are kind of small for tall people. However, I would go there again.”

• Shower water pressure, beds comfort, noisy, no drinking cups; room not cleaned the entire time!

“The water pressure and height of the shower head was as bad as Ive ever had. First night garbage emptied new towels on bed, thats all done. Second night room wasn't cleaned at all. No drinking cups in the room. Had to go to breakfast room to get them. Breakfast was out of juice and Danish last morning. Beds were very uncomfortable. I've stayed at many Laquinta, and this was not a Laquinta!”

• Nothing to discuss, poor service, garbage buildup in room.
• Poor service, waited for room, keys did not work on several rooms, redirected from one room to another and so on.

“This hotel is not even rated one star, they did not clean the rooms, garbage was build up in the room for three days, no towels, no toilet tissue, had to go ask for, the knight of the check-in, we were directed from one end of the hotel complex to another, had to make three times trip to the main office to inform them that the keys did not work for the rooms, we had to change the rooms in different part of the complex until one key worked on the room.”

• The linens on the bed -- no fitted bottom sheet.

“I believe the hotel did not deserve a 2 star rating. The bed did not have a fitted bottom sheet which means it came totally undone over night and made the sheets uncomfortable. There were other small things that did not warrant a 2 star rating. One star, fine.”

“The worst hotel I have ever stayed at. No soap or shampoo, stained towels, small rooms, stains on the floor, dirt on the bathroom floor, internet did not function, TV had bad signal, knob on the thermostat was broken, noisy, bad area of town, beds were rock hard, and pillows were paper thin. I will pay out of pocket to stay somewhere else if needed.”

“This is an old motel that has not been properly taken care of in the maintenance area. In the pool are you can see facial boards hanging from the roof line. I am surprised the local build inspector hasn't fined this motel!”

“Things were going well until I got a roach(2 to 3 inches in length) when I was about to put on my shoes. Thank goodness my wife wasn't there. Then when I was about to brush my teeth and was about to place my toothbrush on a "clean" face cloth, instead of placing it on the counter top. I did take the roach to the front desk but did not take the pubic hair as I was ready to get out of that facility. For the amount of money I spent, I could have stayed at a motel 6 and not seen this.”

• Location and price.
• The carpeting was quite dirty-they allow pets and it was obvious by the carpeting. Other than that it served its purpose well.

“The Price was a great value in that we were only there for a quick overnight rest. The location was convenient-close to mall and restaurants and Space Center. Liked the fact that the rooms were modern and equipped with refrigerator and microwave and high speed internet access. Overall, good rating for a short stay. Will definitely recommend it and stay again.”

“Shower curtain was very gross. Keys did not open the door. The clerk had to use a master to open our room door and he did not know how to re-key our room, so we had to have someone in the room all the time otherwise we would be locked out! Also bathtub was not clean!”

“Rooms out of order, overbooked, dirty rooms that were offered, run down appearance, housekeeping only taking a mere 30 minutes to clean a room one housekeeper stated. Location was not in the best neighborhood. They put us up at another hotel, we didn¿t stay.”

• The staff was friendly and did the very best they could despite what they had to work with.
• The hotel was not well maintained. There were broken down cars in the parking lot and the area looked to be unsafe. This is definitely not 2 star.

“This is an okay hotel. I was very surprised at how run down the property was for a La Quinta Inn. I have stayed at numerous La Quinta's and this was by far the worst. There are obviously people living in the hotel long term. There are broken down cars in the parking lot that had been there for a while. The rooms while they were clean are not well maintained and the furnishing very old. This was more like a motel than a hotel. The neighborhood itself while busy did not appear to be safe.”

• Tawanna was helpful at the front desk.
• Housekeeping leaves a lot to be desired, a lot of standing around, not a lot of helping.

“The lobby is nice, the hotel is conveniently located, and the price is ok. The beds are a little better than boards, the splatter waist high on the mirror was there when we arrived and when we left. Our "do not disturb" sign was ignored by room keeping staff. Who did a nice job making a bed and did not replace all of the towels or clean the bathroom. Only one trash can in the room, none in the bathroom. The free continental breakfast had a great variety, but limited space to move around the tables (people kept getting stuck) and refrigerated items were near room temperature. We gently provided this information to the helpful woman (tawanna) at the front desk and she kindly called another La Quinta in the area to figure out how to take the cost of one night's stay off of our bill. I will not go back.”
