• I liked that they have smoking rooms.
• If you don't know how the roads work in Alabama, you'll have trouble actually getting to the hotel at first.

“Overall, it was a well-kept, clean hotel. When I got in the room, I found that there were no ashtrays or shampoo. I went to the office and got the ashtrays but didn't realize until the next day there was no shampoo. I saw a cleaning lady and got some from her. They were all very nice about the missing items and apologized. The staff was very polite.”

• The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
• The bed was hard, short, and uncomfortable.

“The staff was very friendly and helpful. However, the room was not very clean and the facilities were poorly maintained. The air conditioner was so loud that we had to turn it off to sleep, and then it was too hot to sleep. Maintenance fixed it the next day. The mattress was as hard as a rock.”

• It has close access to the interstate.
• All the rooms smell from smoke.

“No luxury here. It's basically clean and in close proximity to Huntsville and the interstate. The rooms all smell from smokers, and don't forget to ask for shampoo at the desk. Also, be sure to set your alarm as they cannot be relied upon to give you a wake up call.”

• Clean, friendly staff, close to space center and to highway.
• Isolated, no restaurants close by, not that easy to find if you don't have a GPS.

“Clean place, friendly staff, and good location if you have a car and want to visit the space center (a must). Good experience overall given the star rating. Make sure you have a map on how to get there.”

• The staff was nice and pleasant.
• Internet service was not included, they wanted $4.99 more and no ice machine.

“The room was clean, not extra clean and the bed sheets looked and smelled clean (but the outside and inside could use a fresh coat of paint). I think my room was located as far away from the parking lot as possible (top floor all the way at the end).”

• The fridge worked and clean bathroom.
• 100 degrees in room upon arrival and smelled like smoke.

“Great if you are hard up for a place to stay. The security works on the laptop in the check in area not watching the property. They did not know I was coming and had to cool the room down myself.”

• It was not as clean as it should be, especially the stairways and outside areas.

“If you are looking for a hotel with a kitchen and no frills, then this hotel will do. The outside areas were not very clean, the stairs and walkways needed to be swept and the exterior should have been washed. The room was not as dirty but it was not spic and span either.”

• Bathroom needs bigger counter, need recliner in room.

“The room is very spacious. Clean and staff very helpful. The bathroom sink/counter is very small, make-up and other toilet items cannot be kept in bathroom. Small 19" TV, room needs extra pillows. Room is not cleaned everyday. Very good for business people, or even senior adults as they travel. No swimming pool or continental breakfast, but coffee is available all day.”

• Had signs posted all around to not leave valuables in car, and other signs that implied theft might be a problem at this hotel.

• It would nice to have a hair dryer (not provided with this hotel chain).

“I had stayed in this same hotel one month ago, and the prior visit the room had a musty smell. This time the room I was assigned was much nicer, clean and fresh, and I found out this visit the room I had previously was likely one involved in a water leak thereby leading to the musty smell. The hotel experience was much better this time.”

“This hotel did not meet my expectations for a 2 star hotel! It was run down. I was afraid to take my shoes off. It smelled like an over air freshened smoking room. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.”

“The hotel was great for the price, it had a kitchen and air conditioning. It needs to air out its rooms as the smell of smoke was ridiculous a hairdryer might come in hand as well, considering as a traveler they are needed. ”

• Very clean and I liked the kitchen in each room.
• No pool, no ice machine, had to stay in a smoking room.

“I enjoyed staying here, even though there was no pool or ice machine. The staff was helpful and friendly and the motel was in a good location. The rooms were neat and clean, but we had to stay in a smoking room which I did not like.”

• Friendly office staff, room in good maintenance and clean.
• Only one place to eat in vicinity and it was expensive.

“This was a very comfortable room with good amenities. It was clean and well maintained with a quiet heat and cooling system. Very friendly and helpful office staff. However, it was difficult to find and not convenient to eating places.”

• The only complaint I had was the maid overlooked the trash in the can under the kitchen sink.
