• The mattress was amazing! So comfortable and the linens were very fresh. I'll return for sure!
• Didn't have a free continental breakfast, making the left turn into the hotel is awkward and inconvenient.

• Location was not far from anywhere that I had to go in Huntsville.
• Room could have had a wet bar.

• Absolutely nothing. It was awful. Noisy. Very poor house keeping service.
• Poor all around service. Extremely noisy.

“The staff that was there was nice. Seemed to be short of staff. Our room was not cleaned, although we left a little before noon. We had to call that evening to get clean towels.”

• The room was very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed out stay there. Wish it could have been a longer visit.
• Wish that there were more channels to watch, without having to pay to watch them.

• Location.
• Staff was not accommodating and were rude.

“We were very disappointed in the staff's treatment of us. We asked to have our room type changed from a king to a double. Response was condescending. When we reported a problem with our TV in the room, once again the staff was rude. We often travel with our adult son who is disabled and need separate beds.”

• The upscale bedding was excellent, way above typical motel.
• Location hard to get out of with traffic.

“Very guest oriented. They work hard to please. Always have been treated with courtesy and the employees have always been conscientious about making their guests feel welcome, and helping to accommodate any reasonable needs of the guests.”

• Staff was terrible.

“Someone really needs to check out the management of this particular hotel. The staff was not friendly and not helpful. For their $10 buffet breakfast, they had a line waiting at 8:00. At about 10 after, they came out and said help yourself. Then we all had to as for utensils to take the food out, and then we had to get the lights turned on etc. Ran out of eggs immediately and did not replace for about 30 minutes. Staff was not clean either. They were wearing jeans and appeared to not be regular kitchen staff.”

• Pool and whirlpool were great.
• Wish the rooms had WIFI, not just wired Internet.

“Free WIFI in lobby along with free coffee and even free computer use (one computer there). The rooms have wired Internet (wish it was WIFI). The pool and whirlpool were very nice. Rooms were very clean. Checkout was a breeze.”

• I liked the way the facility was kept up. It was a first class facility, nicer than most hotels I've ever stayed in.

• The room was clean, bed comfortable, and the pillows were full and fluffy.
• no butter.

“The hotel was clean and well kept. The room itself was in great shape. The bedding was neat and clean. As for the bed itself, it was very comfortable and the pillows to sleep on were thick and fluffy. Very nice!”

• We had this room for our wedding night. We arrived there at 2 a.m. We were told, rudely, that our room was cancelled. we had to stay in smoking room.

“We booked the room in advance to spend our wedding night. After our wedding reception dinner we drove over an hour to stay there. When we finally reached the Marriott (it was hard to find considering that their sign was not on.) We were very tired and ready for our room. The young lady at the front desk was very rude and talked on her cell phone on a personal call the entire time. When we tried to check in we were told that our room was cancelled. When we asked why she said "check-in time is at 3 p.m. and it's 2 o'clock in the morning." She was VERY RUDE. We had to stay in a smoking room because that was all that was left. We were very disapointed with the service!!!”

• The staff was friendly, courteous, and very accommodating. The rooms were nicely appointed and well furnished, and quite spacious.
• The facility had just been newly renovated.

“A very nice property located on a major highway in the Greater Huntsville area, convenient to shopping, Huntsville's research park, and the Redstone Arsenal. The rooms are spacious and appointed very nicely, the staff is friendly, courteous, and very accommodating. Entrance from the east bound lane of US72 is rather chancy, but is achievable.”

• The room, pool, and hot tub were great.
• No hot water one morning, safety lock to outside door broken, guest computer not working.

“The hotel looked great. the room was beautiful as usual for courtyard. The staff were helpful. But on the second morning there was no hot water. When I called the front desk the clerk should not give any estimate for a time. I wasn't sure if I would be able to shower before checkout. Also the security door to outside was not working. Loved the pool and hot tub, no towels though. Great location to shopping and just a short drive to the space and rocket center.”

“This was an excellent hotel - at a fabulous price! I normally pay at least double this price for a hotel of similar quality. It was VERY clean, well decorated, nicely furnished - and even had great pillows!”

• Free internet high speed, clean fresh smell
• remodeling, shampoo not new

“This motel is only a 5 minute drive from the center of town. It is set back from the main road with good parking. The rooms are spacious, neat and the nonsmoking room smelled fresh. I stayed one night with no problems and would stay again.”

• I like the location, cleanliness, staff, but it does not have a restaurant inside, just an breakfast bar
• It was rated 3 star and I I paid more than I should have it was only a 2 or 2.5 star

• It had plenty of space for the dining room and lobby.
• There was a stain on the box springs that I found distressing.

“Conveniently located on University Drive, with plenty of dining and shopping in close proximity, the Courtyard Marriott had it's appeal. The room was spacious, and appointed efficiently.”

• The rooms were out of date and appeared unclean. Mattress was awful

“The location was convenient to the downtown area which I liked. If this was a 3 star, I'm shocked. Rooms were out of date, appeared unclean and the mattresses were awful. Also, overhead a few things in the halls and I think there was some shady things going on. Overheard a maid telling a guest to just hand the manager a check. This hardly seems appropriate for any reason -made us wonder what was going on.”
