• The decor was ok.
• The staff was a little rude.

“The alarm for the hotel went off at 4:30am faithfully because of
burnt waffle pieces in the waffle maker and the staff did nuthin to clean the waffle maker so that wouldnt happen. It was very inconsiderate for the guests staying. And then I requested a late check out and they called 3 times after 10, to confirm if I was leaving. Very annoying!”

“I decided not to stay at this hotel. Room was terrible; it smelled of old cigarette smoke. Also they were not clean. This hotel does not measure to the standards of a la quintal inn.”

• Price and location.
• Very few cable channels available, movie rents were very expensive.

“Excellent location for business travelers in Huntsville. Hotel was clean and neat. The online thing I didn't like was the very small choice of cable channels available.”

• Lady "Pat" at the front desk was very nice.
• Lousy management.

“Rooms are extremely small. Bathroom is the size of a phone booth. If you smoke, bring your own ash tray they provide none. Breakfast hours change with no notice No microwave or fridge. Limited cable channels. The place is a piece of work.”

• Check in staff was awesome.
• Carpet badly stained.

“Overall, about what I'd expected. A great value for the $. Free wireless Internet--lovely touch. Breakfast was ok, nothing spectacular but again, a nice touch for the price. I really didn't use the pool or other amenities--I wanted a clean, safe place to sleep while I was attending a seminar. This fit the bill perfectly, and couldn't beat the price. Parking very near the room, ramps for rolling luggage, etc. Easy driving, enter and exit at a stoplight.”

• Room clean, comfortable and quiet.
• Room not ready for check in 2:30 pm, finally ready at 4:30 pm, inconvenient.

“Check in staff was not particularly friendly nor helpful, Not very concerned with fact that room was not available in mid afternoon and that it wouldn't be ready until about 4:30. When the housecleaning manager found out that I was being delayed for a meeting she did offer to let me use a room to shower and dress while my eventual room was being readied. I declined and changed my meeting plans.”

“The location is near anything in Huntsville. All the staff was friendly and helpful. The wireless worked very well from my room (rooms. The air conditioner was not very loud and worked fine.”

• The beds were comfortable and the staff was friendly.
• The elevator was trashed. Rails missing etc.

“Everything was nice except the elevator. Light fixtures missing along with the rails and there was an unpleasant smell inside.”

• USA Today newspaper, pet friendly, breakfast.
• The night stand had a ring (not clean) and the bathroom fixtures mildew (old).

“If you want quality, this is not the place. If you have a pet and just want a good night's sleep check out lower-priced hotels.”

• The location was fairly convenient and the lady on registration later called me by name.
• There was frequently no one on the front desk. People loitered around the entrance.

“It was quiet and that is an important quality to me. The food at breakfast seemed a little stale.”

• Nice location for nearby attraction.
• Was assigned to the room that is next to the breakfast room. Too noisy in the morning "rush hour".

“In room refrigeration does not work as said. T.V. image quality is bad (very blur). Bed sheets is not "fresh" as some left-over smell. Room in the first floor with wet carpet in one corner (next to the hotel guest breakfast service area). The 2nd floor carpet is worn out, several times for ICE machine, with strong "smoke" smell. ”

• The motel was very quiet and clean.
• The elevator was very slow. We used the stairs a lot.

“All the staff were wonderful and welcoming. The room was clean and well kept up. The view of the flowering trees was great.”

• Dirty, run down, old-old bedding, old style air conditioner.

“I had two rooms for my associate and I and they were both dumps! The lobby was dirty, halls, floors, etc. I want not suggest that to any clients in the future.”

• Desk staff friendly when we checked in.
• Older and needs updating . My door needed to be replaced.

“It was fine for the money and location. However, I would not stay there again. It is older than a lot on hotels in the area. My door needed to be replaced, had been busted. It still locked when you dead bolted it and chained it. Cliental was a lot of kids on trips which we were too. However it was not noisy. The desk staff was nice when we checked in.”

• Close to shopping centers and restaurants.
• Breakfast area was very poorly and the staff were not a happy people to be there in the first place.

“This hotel is okay to get by for one night or two, but not as clean as Fairfield or courtyard hotels. ”

“For a bus driver, this was a nightmare for filling idle time. The reception on the TV in the lobby was great. The staff moved me 2 times but to no avail.”

“They are upgrading to wireless. I had a direct cable connection that worked and they changed it to wireless and it never worked after that. I could get the signal from the Country Inn across the street better than the Baymonts. TV signal is weak in many rooms (can't read channel info/captioning). I told them twice about the toilet cycling but it was not fixed and I was too lazy to change rooms.”
