• Out dated, not pet friendly, dirty, smelly, unfriendly staff.

“The hotel needs to be updated in a bad way and does not deserve 3.5 star. I stay in hotels on a weekly basis and this Marriott is the worst of the worst. The hotel staff was very unfriendly!”

• The hotel had the most comfortable bed I've ever slept-in in my life!
• Needs more vanity counter space.

“The bed was incredible, the room was clean and neat, the bathroom was clean and
everything was great. It would be perfect if there was more counter space at the sink area, but it's really not that important because all else was so good and I was happy for a mini fridge in the room. The widescreen HDTV topped things off. But I wanted to take the bed home with me. I'm seriously buying one of those mattresses. It was the best hotel value I've encountered.”

• The mattress had a hump in the middle of the bed. It wasn't even. Made sleeping a little uncomfortable.

“Nice place to stay very clean. Staff was very professional. Yet the foreigners front desk could not speak clear English. I was asking her about the newest and nicest mall that was close and her directions were very bad and we got lost. She never really told me the best mall around.”

• Marriott's beds are the most comfortable.
• The bathroom could use some renovations.

“The staff was very nice and made us feel very welcome. There was a problem with out television, I called the front desk and within ten minutes someone was at our door to fix it. The front desk called later to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The room was very clean and cozy. Love the pool. The bathroom was a bit out of date but clean. Breakfast was great but a bit expensive for a family of four. Checkout was a breeze.”

• Very clean and classy. Great location to airport and nearby shopping/restaurants. Comfortable bed!
• Decor may be a slight bit dated (but flat screen TV in room great).

“Great location near Space and Rocket Center and only minutes away from New Bridge Street shops and restaurants. Service is great. Nice that they still offer room service! Comfortable bed! We would definitely stay again.”

• One of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in!
• Shower could have been better, more spacious bathrooms.

“Extremely polite and professional staff, very comfortable rooms, although the bathroom is a bit small. Bed was very comfy, with premium bedding designed for comfort. Small refrigerator was available upon request, but a microwave would have been nice. Also would have had an excellent view of the space center, had it not been for the tree outside our window, which blocked our view. Altogether a nice experience. I would stay here again.”

• Excellent customer service great location right next door to Huntsville space center.
• Restaurant food was average but prices were high.

“This hotel was perfect for our family visit to Huntsville and wood be excellent for business travelers as well. The breakfast buffet was average but I would skip dinner and eat elsewhere. The hotel staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. They even opened the gift shop because we needed an antacid for a guest.”

“The hotel was convenient to our venue. It was nice and quiet so we were able to relax. Dining was good and on the first floor of hotel. Everything in the room was perfect. All in all it was a very good stay at a great price.”

“I've stayed here before and I like the hotel. However this stay I had a room that had rusty water coming out of the spigot and an uneven mattress. The mattress needs replacement and they need to fix their plumbing.”

• The doors and windows to the balcony were very dirty.

• They had a get up and go attitude. Best place I've ever stayed, including resorts!
• I did not like their pillows. I'm allergic to down, or anything with down in it. I had to sleep on the accent pillows.

“Huntsville Marriott is in a great place and has a great atmosphere. You can walk to US Space and Rocket center in just a few minutes. The hotel's amenities are wonderful and the only thing that may be lacking is a playground; however, the pool area and beautiful garden are great places to sit, relax, and visit with your family or the other guests. The staff had a get up and go attitude and waited on you hand and foot. We really enjoyed our stay at the Marriott Huntsville and hope to someday revisit this location.”

• I had a great room with a fantastic view of the rockets in the Space Museum.
• No other services or restaurants in walking distance.

“Great room, clean lobby, friendly staff, nice pool area. We had a late meal in the bar it was what I expected from a bar for food and drinks. Best of all I had a wonderful view from my room of the rockets in the Space Museum next door.”

• The staff was considerate and friendly.
• The room was tiny and the air conditioning didn't work, seemed to be centrally controlled.

“Was my least favorite Marriott experience, only because of facilities. No wireless services and the "business center", where free in the Marriott we stayed just prior (Prattville/Capitol Hill), charged even for minimal use. The room was tiny and the temperature controls didn't work well. Will never stay there again.”

• Quality and location next to the Space and Rocket Center were excellent.
• They had some construction going on in the lobby, but this is a temporary situation.

“The hotel is located about 1/3 of a mile from the Space and Rocket Center is an excellent hotel. The rooms were clean and modern with the most comfortable beds and pillows we've ever experienced. Everyone who worked for the hotel took every opportunity to ask if we needed anything and if we were having a good stay. Even the gift shop was superb, with friendly, helpful staff and unique gift selections. We would definitely stay there again and recommend the hotel to everyone we know. Great accommodations, service and location are hard to beat.”

• It was conveniently located with easy access to the main shopping strip.
• I had to use the Do Not Disturb sign because the cleaning crew comes a bit early.

“I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is exactly what I have come to expect from Marriott. The staff was helpful and friendly and the room service was excellent. The only thing that I would say is that perhaps the cleaning crew should check the reservations listing to see which guests are checking out and clean those rooms first. Ours was a weekend stay and I had to put the do not disturb sign, on the door to insure that we could sleep later than 9am. Other than that we had a beautiful stay.”

• A great pool for my son. Convenient to the Space Camp.

• Well staffed, well maintained, semi-elegant ... 3-star deserved
• Told me they would check me in and change room to smoking afterwards. Never did.

“Front desk staff was efficient and courteous, although I was told upon (early) check-in that they would move me to a smoking king as it became available. They never got back to me. The clerk who checked me in also checked me out and remembered my request. She asked if the request had ever been acted on and apologized when she learned it had fallen through the cracks. The room itself was quite adequate. High speed internet access user interface was a bit counter-intuitive. Air conditioning was central and quite soft (i.e. low white noise quotient). Conversation through adjoining doors was quite easy to hear and I am glad my neighbors were courteous. Hotel is obviously a favorite spot for wedding reception and convention business and deservedly so. Location was perfect for my needs as it seems a bit off the beaten path but is actually five minutes by car from everywhere I needed to be. ”
