• This hotel met our needs very nicely and the staff was friendly, helpful and professional. We would definitely stay here again.
• No negative comments.

“We were very pleased with the accommodations, professionalism of the staff and the cost of the room. We have used priceline in the past to book rooms and flights with no problems and this was another pleasant experience. We would definitely stay here again and have already recommended it to friends. We would have liked greater variety in the complimentary breakfast options, but overall the convenience of the location to area restaurants, shopping, etc. far exceeded this area of concern.”

• Called to see when the pool opened. Was told May 1st. Pool was not open - did not open until May 23.

• Air conditioner in first room was very loud. Staff moved us with no problem.

• Location to the office.
• TV channels was a lack selection and reception is poor on many of the channels.

“If you need to stay over night and want a cheap place to stay then this place is fine. If you plan to extend your stay in this extended stay location then pay a little more. You'll be able to stay at the Hyatt, get full breakfast and someone to service your room every day.”

• The free continental breakfast was deliciously awesome! They had multiple items available. The beds were very comfortable.
• The room and bathroom could have been a little cleaner but, wasn't nasty by any means.

“I would recommend this hotel to other travelers. The free continental breakfast was great. Many different food and drink choices were offered. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a safe location of town.”

• Staff was the best and room was the nicest we have ever stayed in!
• Not a thing - everything was first rate.

“This hotel stay was a special treat for our 23rd wedding anniversary. The desk clerk was so helpful, enthusiastic in making sure to give us a room away from the elevator and never stopped smiling. The room was the best we have ever stayed in with a big screen HD TV and as clean as could be! The breakfast was wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel. You will not be disappointed.”

“Bathroom wasnt very clean shower had stains in bottom and on 2nd day a big roach appeared in shower. we requested a king size bed and every day they told us they would move us the next day but when we asked it was never available and we should check back tomorrow. Some of the staff were very polite and went out of their way to be nice while others were just there to do the job.”

• The hotel was very new, clean, modern with suite accommodations.
• No double beds or smoking rooms.

“The Hyatt Place is a brand new hotel in a very good location. The staff was wonderful. Brian was very wonderful and on more than one occasion gave me detailed directions to my local destinations and phone number if I got lost. The rooms were en-suite with a big screen TV and WiFi hook-up. Continental breakfast was great and they had a unique alternative to vending machines. Would stay there again.”

“I stopped at the wrong hotel. The staff was very friendly and even attempted to try and help me change the location due to convenience but we couldn't change. But staff at both locations were very accommodating and friendly. Our stay was nice. We would definitely stay at this location again.”

• Modern concept and design were great - just what travelers need.
• Wear and tear was apparent in the furnishings. The front desk concept was not efficient.

“A nicely designed hotel for the modern travelers in a nice location. Hyatt needs to do a better job of maintaining the rooms, and I do not think it is reasonable for one or two desk clerks to serve as both check-out and Barista. May have to rethink that concept.”

• The phone system was not help in getting directions and the front sign was not easy to spot from the highway.

• Genuinely friendly and helpful staff, comfortable relaxing location and facilities.
• Probably would have preferred a microwave in room.

“I have never stayed at a Hyatt place. I found it clean, nice accommodation's and very convenient. I grew up in B'ham and usually don't stay at a hotel when visiting family. The staff was exceptionally cordial and friendly. It was a very relaxing atmosphere (for business or my purpose) and I would definitely stay there again and recommend the hotel to family and friends.”

• There is no caffeinated coffee at breakfast. You have to buy it separately!

“This was a very nice hotel in a great location. The large TV was great and everything was clean and comfortable. The breakfast is a little substandard. They have the basics and anything else is an additional charge.”

“We stayed here for the AMA race and I was very happy with the experience. Its in a good location for restaurants and is very close to the interstate. The rooms were nice and clean. We had good experiences with the staff. All in all I would recommend it. I didn't have anything to complain about.”

• There is nothing here not to like.

“Staff here is top notch. Extremely courteous and very respectful. Hotel is clean from front drive to lobby, elevators, hallways & rooms. Room furnishings are excellent-most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept on anywhere. Overall atmosphere is very relaxing. Great place!”

“Great rooms in the past; I have stayed here many times. Not friendly about on line booking and room preferences on line. Had a handicap room last trip. Small low bed, small couch area, and bathroom/dressing design not as attractive as the standard room. MOST rooms however are beautiful and I drive more time instead of changing hotels on my business trips.”

“We enjoyed the spacious room with the large TV. The Hotel is convenient to restaurants. We enjoyed the room. But, this particular Hyatt Place has a staffing issue. The hotel has a gallery rather than a lobby. The self-service computers used for check-in were not working. The "Gallery" staff was busy serving food, so check-in was delayed. The Hyatt Place does not have enough staff to serve food and take care of guests needs. This hotel is used by families for sporting activities which makes it quite busy. Luckily noise is not an issue, as the rooms as well insulated.”

• We were offered a room with only one double bed.

“Overall a pleasant stay. Only negative was that we were offered a room with only one double bed, a problem since their was my husband, me, and our child. They did not have another room for us to change. Sleeper sofa was extremely uncomfortable.”

• The hotel was outstanding!
• The only problem was a slight bug problem in the room. But not enough to complain to hotel staff.

“In fact, I fear I would not get as good a deal again after this treat! I had a few bugs in my room (on the pillows) but nothing too serious, although I could see where some may complain about it.”

• The decor, spaciousness and comfort of the room were fantastic.
• There was no room service available.

“This was a beautiful hotel in a great location. Although room service was not available, there was a continental breakfast with hot options to purchase, as well as many restaurants nearby. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The options for business travelers were more than adequate.”

• Loved the sitting/office/living area. Very comfortable.
• Slow elevators and no ice on every floor.

“This was a pleasure weekend and it was great. The large TV made basketball easy to watch and the large sofa and ottoman was very comfortable. I will stay at this location again. Very convenient to shopping and food.”
