• Quiet, safe location and very attractive lobby & room.

“An amazing value through Priceline. The room was very impressive. Everything was clean and attractive. The furniture was comfortable. Attractive lobby. The staff was courteous and professional. There was a free continental breakfast that I enjoyed. Hot breakfast for purchase, but I didn't try it.”

• The suite atmosphere.
• Location of the TV.

“It is very nice and convenient to several restaurants and shops. The room was laid out well and it was nice to have the sitting area to read if someone else wanted to go to bed but the bathroom area was very small. Overall, it met our needs well.”

• The hotel manager gave exceptional customer service!
• Location, traveling south on I-65 you can not exit left onto Old Hickory, forcing you to make a u-turn to get to hotel.

“The view is fantastic, the service from the staff is exceptional and the pillow top mattress and down pillows are oh so wonderful!”

• I love Hyatt Place but this location was not clean and the parking lot back door was broke so any one can walk in!
  without a key.

“I have stayed at brand new Hyatt Place hotels, very neat, clean I love them but this location was older, not as crisp, clean nor was it very safe the back door was not locking and anyone can walk right in! I had left at 5 am in the morning and the back parking lot did not have great lighting also a danger for a mom with her two kids traveling! Other Hyatt's in Louise ville KY and Chicago IL have been wonderful and I will stay at these two locations in a heart beat.”

• Room was spacious.
• Shower would change from hot to cold by itself, and refrigerator didn't work.

“A good 2 star maybe, but not a 3 star. Although the room was spacious and it had a large flat screen TV, which was nice, the water when taking a shower kept going from hot to cold. Refrigerator didn't work (found out after I had bought a few refrigerated items)and, after talking to the front desk, they told me that most of the refrigerators in the hotel didn't work.”

• Great hotel experience ruined by noise.

“Friendly greeting, good room, great location ruined by screaming children in the hallways, running and jumping in the room above, banging on the walls in the room beside me. You can also tell the bad economy is hurting the hotel, not as many towels as usual, soaps and shampoo bottles not changed, fewer hotel staff, cheaper breakfast items.”

• Modern, spacious room that was extremely clean.

“This hotel was very modern and extremely clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Although the bathrooms are on the small side, the way they are laid out was very practical and the finishes of the sink area felt very upscale. We loved the separate sitting area (with a foldout bed that could sleep kids if needed) and the huge flat screen TV that swiveled between the bed and couch. The bed was firm and comfy and the linens appeared very clean. Loved the wet bar area and mini fridge, especially if we would have been staying longer. The free computers in the lobby were also a nice feature as we lost a cell phone on the trip and needed to look up some numbers. All in all, would highly recommend this hotel.”

• High class from personal greeting at the desk to contemporary furnishings. The bed was superb.
• Bathroom outlet was faulty.

“Beautiful lobby and rooms, warm staff welcoming, excellent continental breakfast, nice views, and very comfortable bed and furnishings made for a pleasant surprise. Although it was closed for the season, the outdoor pool was unexpected since it was not listed as an amenity.”

• Updated rooms, excellent breakfast.

“This is a former Amerisuites Hotel that has been taken over by Hyatt and is now a Hyatt Place. Hyatt has done a first class job of renovating the hotel and offering large, well appointed rooms and a quality breakfast. Definitely will stay there again when I am in Brentwood.”

• Breakfast service was poor; understaffed.

“This hotel, just off I-65 South, is very convenient to downtown and shops south of Nashville. The room was large and comfortable - really a mini-suite; although the bathroom was very small. The staff was helpful, but unsure about particular stores locations when asked for directions and/or distance. The continental breakfast was comparable to a hotel rated with fewer stars, and the staff was shorthanded in keeping coffee urns full as well as replenishing bagels/bread and fruit. Overall, I would recommend the Hyatt Place - Brentwood as a place to stay when traveling through the area, or for a short-term stay.”

“It was a very enjoyable and relaxing stay. Rooms were very clean and furnished wonderfully. The staff deserves praise on how well they keep this hotel running. Each one of the staff members that we encountered whether it was coming into work or currently working greeted us with a smile and a hello followed by sir or madam. We highly recommend this hotel and it's staff members. Truly a wonderful place to stay!

• Great value for the price.
• Computer jacked and infected with mallware on high speed internet during stay.

“I stayed here for 1 night on business. The hotel is a renovated older hotel (probably an AmeriSuites or such by layout) and it is still clearly old but it was clean, the staff was friendly. Restaurants and target across the street but it's on a hill so not noisy. Seems safe but use caution with the free internet; there was a man in front on a laptop. I dropped my firewall to access a particular application and the computer was jacked and infected with mall ware within minutes. Not sure that's what happened, but I'm pretty computer-savvy and didn't download anything.”

“We love staying here because of the location and the size of the rooms. It is very modern. I have noticed that some of the common areas are not being maintained as well as they were during our last stay a few months ago.”

• It look very nice like a high end hotel.
• At night there was only one staff member down in the lobby.

“I had a good experience overall, the only problem I had was with some of the other guests being rude and having a party in a few rooms down from me. I was unable to call the desk because the line was busy. When I went down to the desk the staff member who was there was helping someone and taking a long time. I ended up waiting about 30 minutes to actually get my issue addressed.”

“Continental Breakfast is somewhat limited selection under the previous AmeriSuites concept was much better. Selection is limited to Bagel, toast, English muffin or cereal anything else is ordered for an additional cost.”

• The room was excellent. Got a great nights sleep on a very comfortable mattress.
• There was no hot tub, which was one of the main things that we wanted after playing in a tournament all day.

“Very elegant design, with excellent rooms that have a feeling of luxury. Appears great for the business travel, but not for leisure stay after playing in a tournament all day. No hot-tub was very disappointing. Beds were very comfortable. This hotel is not recommended for travelers with kids in tow.”

“We loved the room. It was large with a separate dressing area and a living area with a large sectional couch. There was a good size wet bar with another sink and large mirror. The large TV was also a plus.”

“We were thrilled with our room the moment we walked in! It was large with "separate" sitting/work/kitchen area and bed/bath area. The decor was fresh and modern with stone counter tops. The bedding and throw pillows really gave it an at home rather then hotel feel. The 42 inch LCD TV could turned to be seen anywhere in the room. We would love to stay again and have already recommended Hyatt Place to friends!”

• I really liked the location. Convenient to both Brentwood and Nashville.
• There were no washcloths in the room but I think that was a housekeeping oversight.

• The room was very modern and spacious! Love the couch, wide screen TV, wet bar, desk, and sink area.
• The only complaint I have was that the bathroom was tiny.

“AWESOME! It's very contemporary. The rooms were HUGE! (Except for the bathroom. but that's a very minor flaw.) The wide screen TV swivels from the living room to the bedroom. I've never seen such a large TV in a hotel before! The sink on the outside of the bathroom was very convenient when you have two or more people in a room. Ahhh. I miss that room! I would definitely stay there again!”

• The room was very attractive and luxurious.
• The bathroom was little small, with the dressing area in the bedroom, but it made the overall room appear larger.

“The room was beautiful, not like your typical hotel room. We loved the sectional sofa and very large flat screen TV, we were able to relax and watch TV and enjoy the evening. The free breakfast was very nice, there was yogurt, pastry, breads, cereals and fruits, and if you were interested in more, there were hot items that you could order, instead of going to a restraint.”

• Wonderful staff. Room layout. HDTV, pool, fitness room, location.
• Had a small fridge but no microwave.

“The room was large with a nice layout. The high-def TV was great for the kids. The WiFi worked great with my laptop. The free breakfast included plenty of fresh fruit and breads/cereals. The staff was amazingly courteous and friendly. A wonderful place to stay when traveling or on a business trip.”

“Unbelievable! We met friends from up north and went out on a limb, having never stayed in a hotel. I will definitely look to stay in one again! Super clean, quiet, spacious, the bed was comfy. Towels were a bit scratchy, but I had my own with me. The food was not good at all, but hotel food rarely is. It was also very pricey and there are no vending machines or canteen type area. Right across from target and some other shops and a couple restaurants. It is super convenient to Opryland, Gaylord, downtown Nashville never more than a 10 minutes drive. There is a huge mall near Gaylord Opryland. I will stay here again!”

• Modern design with high tech TV and kitchen - split room design with sectional couch that pulls into bed was comfortable and inviting.
• Continental breakfast was ok, but not great.

“The hotel was comfortable and modern. Check in and check out was easier than I have ever experienced. The rooms and public areas were clean. The sectional couch and rotating 42' flat screen TV was warm and inviting. The bed was comfortable. The pool was nice, but cold. The continental breakfast was ok, but not great. The staff was not overly friendly, but not rude either. I would recommend this hotel. We were traveling with two small children and they were comfortable and happy.”

• One person available at check in and out. Person too busy.

“We have stayed here a number of times. Although newly redone, it is showing some wear in rooms. Breakfast is pretty slim. The lack of help at breakfast time caused some problems with other guests.”
