• The room was large and comfortable.
• Noisy.

“This is a clean and well kept hotel. The main problem is with the building design. The odd-numbered rooms all have balconies that face an enclosed swimming/banquet area. The first night I was kept awake by a large group of teens swimming and then, after getting asleep, was woken up by a live band! The other problem was that all three of my children received cuts and scrapes on their feet from the bottom of the pool. I can see this happening to one unlucky child, but when it happens to all three, it is the fault of the pool, not the swimmer. The staff was nice, responsive and directed us to a great place for dough nuts.”

• Dirty.

“We will NEVER stay at this hotel again. We paid for two double beds, but had one queen and only one roll away. One person had to sleep on the floor and we had to ask twice to get extra bedding for the floor. The bathroom was dirty, the carpet needed to be re stretched, there was no ice, and the list goes on.”

• Free internet and breakfast.
• Room was a bit dirty. Staff was not too friendly or helpful.

“Fine for an overnight stay while just passing through. Breakfast is available, but not too great. However, plenty of other options are very close by. Internet is free. Overall, it was just fine for passing through. If you're staying for a few days, I think it's fine, but it could be a bit cleaner!”

• They did give me an atlernative room which was an improvement.
• The first room stunk, there was no iron in the room. The second room was average.

• Really had no total dislike - water pressure could have been better.

• Convenient location.
• For the price, I expected something nicer. The breakfast area was very small, they ran out of items and the area was not kept cleaned up.

• It was a clean hotel in the lobby and in the room.
• There was a bit of an odour when the AC came on and in the hall, and the breakfast ran out.

“This Hotel is right off the highway and near other motels. It seemed fine but there was an odour in the hall, like maybe funky carpet glue. I did not turn the air on until early morning and when I did there was an odour that was annoying. I thought it might be from the curtains, not sure. The worst thing was the breakfast which we arrived at 20 minutes before its end and found it depleted. No milk for the cereal, no muffins, an empty crock pot of sausage gravy. I got a bagel that was not very good. The dining area was very small too and not visible to the front desk staff. Obviously there was not a person assigned to breakfast duty as the 4 tables were not too clean either. Breakfast food should be available until the posted end time. There are other motels off this exit that would be a better choice. It seemed a good deal the evening we arrived, but not so great by the time I left.”

“We did not enjoy our stay at this hotel. Our air conditioner did not work. When we asked to have some extra pillows, they only allowed us to have one. The breakfast bar was very dirty and the service was horrible. We will never stay here again.”

• Given smoking room even though plaque outside room indicated no smoking, smelled really bad.

“Staff was not very efficient or accommodating. Called for extra pillows twice in a 1 1/2 hour period. At midnight my husband went down to service desk to find two employees standing around and was told they had been very busy and they hadn't had a chance to get pillows to us.”

• Well, I arrived at 1 am in the morning and checked out the same day, so I was too tired to really care what it look like, but I guess it was satisfactory.
• The dead bolt did not work on the room and the key card assembly was loose and it look like people have tried to break-in on the outside door.

“I like that it was right off the exit and when it is 1 am and your irritable from lack of sleep and being lost, being smack dab right off the exit is a God send. Bed were comfortable and I have a bad back. The showers had messaging shower heads! The three things I feel a lot of travelers really appreciate.”

“When I arrived at the front desk I felt my expectations were going to be exceeded. However, after the clerk checked me in, I saw that he had placed us in a smoking room. Then when we got to our room and turned on the TV it made a load cracking sound and would not display a picture. I called the desk to report it but there was no answer. It was very late, so we just went to bed. This is the first time we have been treated like we were second class customers and we attribute it to the person behind the desk. I do hope the word gets back to the Signature Inn management.”

• Hotel was conveniently located to our destination, college visit.
• Hotel walls are paper thin, complained about neighbor at 5:30 p.m. and wasn't given a new room until midnight.

“We would never stay at this hotel again, even being offered a free stay in the future. We would never recommend anyone stay at Signature Inn. The walls are paper thin and there was no restaurant on the site; however there were several places to eat within walking distance.”

• Quiet, comfortable, clean.
• It was difficult to find. We had to call the hotel to get directions after driving around for 20 minute. Our GPS could not locate the hotel.

“It was an economy hotel which is what we are used to. The air conditioner worked very well and was not noisy as in some hotels. Although there were many staying at the hotel we were not disturbed by any hallway noise or noise from other rooms. The bed was comfortable. We did not spend much time in the room as we were there for a wedding and only used the room to sleep.”

“I've stayed at Signature Inns in the past and found them to be clean and modern. This one looked and felt old and rundown. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. It served its purpose but I was disappointed in its quality.”

• Gal at front desk on Friday evening was very nice and friendly.
• No indoor pool. But, that was OK.

• The hotel was located near the highway, and immediately surrounded by many restaurants and stores.
• The walls were thin, thus patrons complained about intimate noise coming from my room.

“This is your basic hotel. No real frills. Room, refrigerator, not much water pressure in the shower. Pretty much what you would expect along any major strip in a small town.”

• The location was fine as we were visiting Purdue campus.
• Rooms and hallway had a musty smell.

“The location was fine but I would not stay there again. I did like the fact that several restaurants were close for breakfast but the overall quality of the hotel itself was just ok. I like nicer facilities. I think it was like a Super 8 which I consider a lesser quality hotel.”
