Joshua from Fenton,MO “Very plain, very efficient if you have no needs.” Aug 5, 2009 by
Ken from Bellville,TX
“Good location and great price.” Jul 29, 2009 by
Ken from Charleston
“I would not recommended a person traveling alone to stay here, as there is absolutely no security present. You could hear doors opening and closing all night long. We barricaded the door with furniture, so that we could at least rest for a few hours. However, my wife was scared to even close her eyes. It was no bargain when you could not even rest your eyes for fear of what could happen. We have stayed at LaQuinta in other locations and have never had an experience like this. This is the worst possible place to stay!” Jul 28, 2009 by
Sam from Tuscola
“This hotel is a nightmare! We returned from eating dinner to a parking lot filled with police cars and a crime scene van. We didn't know what was happening and asked some of the other hotel guests if they knew, but no one seemed to know anything about why the police were present. My husband asked the front desk clerk and was told, someone was involved in an accident! We started unpacking our car and had the opportunity to talk with the crime scene officer, and were told someone had been severely beaten in one of the rooms. I went to the front desk and demanded to have our room changed from the back side of the motel because of safety issues. I don't think someone being severely beaten is an accident, at least not in my book. Not my idea of family activities happening here. Needless to say we checked out the very first thing the next morning, after a totally sleepless night. The rate for the room was good. It was no bargain when you are so afraid to close your eyes out of fear! My advice to anyone even considering this place is- Don't! We will never go back there again-ever! The place needs to be shut down! It was absolutely not safe there!” Jun 6, 2009 by
Michael from Oceanside,CA
“I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.” May 31, 2009 by
Leslie M. from Violet, Louisiana
“I am very satisfied with my stay here at La Quinta. The staff is very friendly and ready to assist you in any way possible. Rooms are very clean. I enjoyed my stay very much and hope to return very soon. I might add if you book in advance the rates were also good, compared to other chains out there.” May 31, 2009 by
Christina from Nashville,TN
“Staff was lazy, toilet was running and needed to be fixed, I had to switch rooms because the first one had little black hair near the toilet and there was a putrid smell in the room. Maid service forgot to provide towels and coffee in the room. Breakfast was awful. Oranges were old and crusty. Raisin bran was generic Hospitality brand and juice was disgusting watered down who knew what. Overall experience was nasty and place needed new management.” May 13, 2009 by
Scott from Elizabethtown,KY
“Check in and out took 2 minutes each. Our hotel room was clean, well kept, and had a fresh smell. Air Conditioning worked well, and there was plenty of space.” Apr 16, 2009 by
Maurice from Wentzville,MO “The staff was not helpful and uninformed. The rooms were dirty, they had a very unpleasant odor. The bathroom was dirty, sheets dingy and the carpet was stained.” Apr 11, 2009 by
Deena from Pensacola,FL “I won't stay there again. Even most of the tables in the lobby were wobbly. There was no soap in the room.” Mar 22, 2009 by
D.D. from Defuniak Spring,FL
“The rooms were clean and organized. The bathrooms were a little small for 3 kids and 2 adults. I couldn't answer the one question about the travelers cause we weren't on either one of these. My daughter had to have surgery for cancer in her thyroid and they took it out.” Jul 8, 2008 by
Mr. F. from Haltom City, TX
“The hotel was located off the main highway. We chose this hotel because it was close to the beach. We were on the 1st floor. The room was big, but the carpet was stained and smelled like mildew. I did not walk on the carpet barefoot, because it felt like walking on damp carpet. I would not stay in this hotel in the future.” Jul 7, 2008 by
Debbie
“We arrived late 11:30pm. the sheets on the bed had long black hair and short curly hair(take a quess)and food crumbs. I had to have them bring up new linen and I changed the beds myself because they didn't have staff to do it. In the morning 9:00am there was no hot water on the 3rd floor. I requested to be move to the second floor when I was returning in 3 days. I expected more from a La QUINTA chain.” Jun 3, 2008 by
Robin from Hayesville, NC
“Terrible place. Staffed by one desk person for whole hotel, no maintenance personnel (I was locked in via broken door lock); wireless access broken; given different room, but walked in on another guest whose name had not shown on computer; the one overworked desk clerk did not answer guest calls after 50 rings, at 10 PM Bathtub.” May 28, 2008 by
Melissa from Englewood, CO
“The Pool was okay. It is close to dining, shopping and airport. Good for business travelers. Breakfast was typical for a 2 star or below hotel.” May 20, 2008 by
Carole from Marietta, GA
“Great hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Lovely hotel with well equipped rooms. Breakfast and the area very nice too. Good experience!” Apr 30, 2008 by
Judy from Newville, AL
“We were in town for a women's conference. The hotel was booked solid, yet when we arrived there was one attendant at the desk and 30 women in line to check in. Breakfast was the same, food ran out and was not replenished. I had twelve ladies with me and we were disappointed in the amenities.” Apr 14, 2008 by
Mary A. from Panama City Beach, FL
“Great location for business. Wonderful staff. Very clean and roomy. Had to ask to be moved due to staff renting room next to me to a very loud, drinking party with a huge barking dog. Could not enter my own room without smelling the alcohol as they took chairs from the room out into public walkway to drink their beer. They lined the window seal with the empty cans. The dog was huge and barked constantly. The staff was quick to give me another room when I called the front desk. This was somewhat inconvenient as this was my second day at the motel and I had been in class for 9 hours and returning to my room to rest for the night. I had to pack up and move. This could have been avoided if the other party would not have placed in close proximity to other tenants.” Apr 1, 2008 by
Diane from Pensacola, FL
“The lobby was clean and friendly looking. The bedroom was mostly clean (except for some slight mildew damage in the bathroom area because of poor ventilation). However the mattresses were horrible. Both sets were too soft and warped so that I had to balance myself while sleeping not to fall off the edge- literally. Two of my three young children (all under age 5) actually did fall off the bed. And when I called the front desk at 7:15 PM to request some new sheets and a new mattress pad is brought up to me (because my daughter's diaper had leaked.) I was told that the desk worker didn't have time right now to bring sheets, waited over 40 minutes before going downstairs myself, only to be told someone else was bringing sheets up to my room. In short, it's not a family friendly hotel!” Mar 31, 2008 by
Frank from Tallahassee, FL
“Everything was good. Except the TV's cable. Snowy or the remotes don't work or channel just goes off but you still have volume. on that channel. One of my guests had to change rooms at night, due to the TV not working.” Mar 24, 2008 by
Robert from Orlando, FL
“Overall the experience was great. Other than one rather pushy young lady I spoke to on the phone to verify my reservation the rest of the staff were pleasant and otherwise very accommodating.” Mar 24, 2008 by
Coretta from Newnan, GA
“If I had to revisit I would most definitely use this hotel again, very clean, Interstate accessibility. Night staff amazingly friendly really enjoyed, am staff needed a little work. The only thing that disappointed me was that they had no guest computer access. Other than that great, rooms clean, good area not to far from common eating places.” Mar 23, 2008 by
Dawn from Warrenton, MO
“Overall this hotel is a very clean comfortable and well located hotel. The design of it is pleasing and the staff is very friendly. There are many restaurants nearby, as well as a Wal-Greens if you need a little extra something you forgot at home. Enjoyable experience. Thank you so much.” Mar 6, 2008 by
Frank from Tallahassee, FL
“The staff were nice and the lobby was good. No news paper were Available for the guests.” Mar 2, 2008 by
Pam from Burtchville, MI
“A clean pleasant hotel in a convenient location. The beds were not great, but not terrible. The continental breakfast was limited but adequate. The lack of a microwave and fridge in room was inconvenient. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful.” Feb 14, 2008 by
Sonny from Houston, TX
“Good location, friendly staff, rooms weren't very clean.” Feb 8, 2008 by
Katherine from Boca Raton, FL
“Clean room, comfortable bed.” Jan 26, 2008 by
Cathy from O Fallon, IL
“I did not feel safe as a female traveling alone. I was visiting a town I am very familiar with this area as a past resident and know this area very well and still did not feel safe a this hotel. The room smelled loudly of cigarette smoke and was very dirty. The furnishings were sparse and out dated.” Jan 24, 2008 by
Daesoon from Champaign, IL
“For travelers who want mainly sleep in, this hotel is a good place. It includes a refrigerator and a microwave. Comparing to the rate quality is pretty satisfying. For 6 days I stayed although I didn't eat breakfast but it seemed not bad. Furthermore, the worker was very kind.” Jan 16, 2008 by
Annette from Opelika, AL

Leslie from Mobile, AL
“We were very happy with the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, and though we received bad directions to the airport, I don't hold it against them (to err is human). We'd stay again!” Nov 16, 2007 by
Jim from Green Cove Springs, FL
“The location is good. The beds need to be changed as they are not comfortable. Ceiling texture was falling down from the ceiling. The area I parked in was not lit and I did not feel comfortable until I was in my room.” Oct 17, 2007 by
Jason
“I would stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone. The staff was great and very willing to accommodate us in any way promptly. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.” Sep 6, 2007 by
Patrick from Pickens, SC
“The staffs were friendly and helpful. The room was decent but kind of had a musky odor. The continental breakfast was meager at best. For a one night stay it is not too bad, but I would not want to stay there for an extended period of time.” Aug 14, 2007 by
Mickie from Fort Worth, TX
“We called ahead to confirm our reservation and to inform the hotel that we would not be arriving until late that night. Were assigned two rooms next to one another; however one of the rooms was still dirty, really dirty. So they came up with another room that was deemed out of commission due to smell, but it was our only choice. Wouldn't stay there again if it were free.” Jul 22, 2007 by
Paul from Wesley Chapel, FL
“Overall, I was very pleased. Hotel was very well maintained; maids and workers were very helpful (except for front desk help). Restaurants are within walking distance. Had a nice area to walk our dog. And beach was 10 minutes away. Road construction made it hard to get in and out.” Jul 15, 2007 by
Teddy from Woodstock, GA
“The staff was pleasant and efficient. The location was difficult to get in and out of. The AC units need to be upgraded or replaced.” Jul 9, 2007 by
Joyce from Los Angeles, FL

“This hotel was outdated, no security uncomfortable beds air conditioning outdated did-not work properly. Over all not a very pleasant stay.” Dec 21, 2006 by
William from Richfield Springs, NY
“La Quinta Pensacola is in a reasonably central location, but construction on Davis highway made it hard to exit. The TV was larger than most at this star level. The room was clean and the staff helpful. Many choices for breakfast.” Dec 12, 2006 by
Carol from Punta Gorda, FL
“Property was under renovation. Road construction was a down side. Nothing special about the hotel, old and worn.” Nov 17, 2006 by
Bill from Monroe, LA
“Good property, excellent staff support and assistance.” Sep 27, 2006 by
Martha from Pueblo, CO
“Very nice place, good for business traveler and families.” Sep 26, 2006 by
Jerry from Lynn Haven, FL
“La quinta hotels aren't a bad choice but some should be one star while others should be considered 2 1/2 stars. Some of their older units are awful from outside. One bad design to the la quinta chain is the bathroom, too small. This was an older la quinta with updated insides but older appearance on the outside.” Aug 6, 2006 by
Caroline from Birmingham, AL
“Fair” Jun 10, 2006 by
Sam from Long Beach, MS
“Appears to be an older motel but maintenance and upkeep is very good.” May 22, 2006 by
