• Housekeeping was friendly and very accommodating.
• Checking out front desk personnel was not to knowledgable. She was new and had not be trained to the process.

“I would recommend this hotel to families with children. It was clean comfortable and convenient to the area. The continental breakfast could be improved with other items than just coffee, juice, and mini-muffins.”

• Friendly receptionist.
• Poorly lit small parking lot, not dining area for cont, breakfast, dirty, no elevator, running toilet, poorly lit room, toilet paper in AC unit, smelly.

• Nice people working there.
• Very shaky area. Muggings, theft. Tiny old rooms, double beds (not queen).

“Old hotel, tiny rooms, double beds, wireless internet that only worked in the hallway. Hall had two window air conditioners, one was Inop. Hotel located in rough area. This place is a one star at best.”

• The customer service was good.
• The housekeeping staff did not clean well.

“The smell of a horrible case of bad body odor pervaded the entire hotel from the minute we walked into the lobby. It was so overwhelming that when we got to our room, we would have left and went to another hotel if we would not have been locked into this. Instead, we bought air fresheners and candles. The housekeeping staff did not do a very good job cleaning our room. They refused to fix one of our beds because we left a bag on it. I suspected the sheets were not clean because they were wrinkled when I pulled down the blankets. All in all, I would not stay there again or recommend it to someone else.”

• Room key continually had to be reprogrammed, always had to ask for more towels.

“Great budget hotel. Beds were comfortable but bring your own pillow (theirs is a bit too skinny). Rooms are small but perfect if you are only there to sleep. Friendly staff, clean rooms. Washing machine worked but don't waste your quarters in the dryer. It doesn't work very well.”

• The hallways were not air conditioned and smelt funny!

“Although the hallways were not air conditioned and had a funny smell to it, you don't really spend a lot of time in them. The rooms were great for the price and had high speed internet access which was great. Had everything we needed for our one night stay! Even included a fridge and microwave.”

• I liked the price and the location and it was fairly clean.
• Breakfast was pathetic.

“This hotel is conveniently located. The lobby is very small and is the location for breakfast which should not have been called that because it merely consisted of coffee, juice (from a machine) and packaged honey buns and donuts. No bread for toast, no bagels, muffins or waffles, no oatmeal, no fruit, no milk, no cereal. My children were on there way to the pool but were turned around when another child coming from the area said that it was closed due to someone using the bathroom in the pool. We were disappointed with that. A roll-a-way bed cost me an additional $10 per night. I wonder if there should be a charge for that.”

• The staff was extremely helpful.
• There was a problem with the locks on the door and it was addressed. However, what the room needed was complete door frame replacement.

“For the price and for a one night Saturday check in it was okay. Great staff and near old town Pensacola and good restaurants.”

• Small breakfast, shady people driving through and walking around.

“The hotel was good if you are passing through or staying one night the price was good, rooms were clean, beds were just ok, staff was friendly, the WiFi would never stay up long enough to do anything. They did have plenty of vending and a place to wash clothes.”

• They screwed up reservation-I ended up w/suite:) same price!
• Check out at 11 asked for 1 hr was told no.

I called and requested King no smoking got there to a double smoking went down and all they had was a king suite which they put me in only because the other person hadn't showed up otherwise
I would not have had a room
I asked to check out 1 hr later was told no w/o reason!”

• The staff were willing to try to fix problems that arose.
• Many broken items: phone, door locks, light cover, holes in towels, no elevator, etc.

“We requested a non-smoking room, carried our bags (no elevator or carts) upstairs to a smoking room. After several trips on the stairs with luggage, we moved downstairs into a non-smoking room. The room was adequate, but uninviting. The towels had holes, as did one of the bathroom walls, stains on mirror, entry door opened into the exposed 1/2 closet, drawer fell out of dresser, cover fell off of bathroom light, switches didn't work, phone had to be replaced after I missed several calls. The staff tried to be helpful. Keys had to be re-keyed and still didn't work outside door near my car. Very poor continental breakfast.”

• While the exterior of the building was dirty, the room was well appointed and clean.
• The front desk person was rude and didn't gave a key card to a room different from what she had said our room was. Then, she didn't answer her phone.

“This motel is close to the interstate, but in a poorer section of town. The entrance to our room was on the back of the dirty building with very unkept grounds at the opposite end of the building from the front desk. The room was nice and quiet, but we didn't see another person. The breakfast (packaged cold donuts and sweet rolls and a coffee and juice machines) was in the lobby, where there were no tables and/or chairs and only one sofa. When our room key card didn't work on check in, we called the front desk and the woman didn't even answer the phone. I checked the door next to where we had been told to stay and it worked so we stayed in it. The next morning, the same woman told me that, that was bad and I should have returned the key to her and gotten a new key card. It was her mistake, but she said that it was my responsibility to have brought it back. All and all, it was a bad experience and we won't go back there. When I think over it, it really was a bit scary. What if she had given someone else the same room as we were in. We didn't see anyone else there to ask for help. We won't go back there!”

“We slept comfortably, but it definitely needs some tender loving care. The carpets smell pretty bad and they just need to upgrade carpets, curtains, bed spreads, decorations, plumbing, air conditioning. The hotel is in need of some remodeling. I understand when you have all types of people coming and going and in an area where it's hot and sandy, you can't always control how others will take care of it, but it definitely needs some up-grading. For a 2 star hotel, that's about what you get.”

• The staff was very friendly and the room had a microwave and fridge which I didn't expect.
• The room was smaller than I expected. Something to keep in mind if you're traveling with family. Fine if you're solo.

“This hotel wasn't everything I wanted, but it was everything I needed. A comfy bed and even a microwave and refrigerator for my leftovers. However, I am glad I didn't have anyone with me. I don't like people (including family) under me and the room was too small for more than me even though there were two beds in the room. Otherwise nice. The staff was very friendly and I would stay here again.”

“The only thing good about the hotel was the staff was helpful. The room was small and very dark with poor lighting. The sheets and towels are old and thin and the drapes had large water stains. Breakfast was a pre-packaged a muffin or roll.”

• It was a convenient location.
• It had a horrible smell to the hallway room and the bathroom shower curtain smelled.

“This hotel smelled so badly. It was gross. The shower curtain was filthy and smelled. I asked for a room that would not require allot of walking due to my health issues and being I was going in for surgery in the am. The room they gave me was all the way at the other end of the motel, through a dark walkway. The phone did NOT work and I had to walk all the way to the other side of motel to report the issues. I feel I was forced to settle for filth and stench the night before I had surgery and that I did not have any leverage to fall back on. I went in for surgery the next and I am still in the hospital. Today was the first chance I have had enough emerge to check my e-mail.”

“Called a week ahead and asked for 3 smoking rooms, when we arrived there were no smoking rooms available. Very poor parking. Lots of teenage kids hanging outside the hotel drinking and partying till early hours of the morning. Cockroaches in the bathroom. Just expected a little more form a National Chain. Guess you get what you pay for!”

“I checked in my room was damp the floor and towels were wet. The curtains were falling down. and when ask to change rooms, the girl changed my room to one with cigarette holes in the sheets mold on the bathroom floors and a non working phone. This was two miserable nights.”

• I was surprised at the overall cleanliness. The interior looked freshly painted and carpeted.

“This was a one star hotel. The nonsmoking room smelled of smoke and had an odd smell to it. The breakfast consisted of OJ, coffee and prepackaged muffins. The room was not very well kept with light bulbs out, holes in the walls and a moldy mini fridge. The staff was friendly.”
