• Very clean. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.
• The swimming pool was a little small.

“My family and I stayed here for my daughter's 10th birthday. The rooms were very clean and the hotel staff was very polite and helpful. The pool was very clean, but it was a little small. This hotel fit our family needs perfectly.”

• I love the staff. Hotel was clean.
• The decoration doesn't look modern enough.

“I was looking for a room with a whirlpool to just relax. This hotel didn't have that (well at least for me), but had a nice public whirlpool that was heated to perfection. The staff was lovely, always willing to help and wearing a smile. The room was spacious and I thought it was pretty awesome having dishes and spoons already in the room.”

“I really enjoyed myself. My daughter even stated that the employees at this hotel are very nice and helpful, the pool was a bit too cold, room service was great, as a matter of fact my relatives came to visit us from another hotel that was near by and they were saying how awesome the Residence Inn appearance and hospitality is. Thanks I really appreciate it. If I am ever in the area again I will be back.”

• Generous size room with kitchen facilities. Free Internet, including access to printer.
• Some noise from large group occupying other rooms.

“This Residence Inn is co-located with a two other Marriott hotels, and is by far the best. It's location slightly farther from I-80 makes is quieter. An excellent, full breakfast is served. The rooms are large, clean, and well appointed. Internet services, including a computer printer, are free. Staff is alert, helpful, and friendly. Being close to a business Interstate and some high-crime areas of Hammond make security an issue, although the parking lots are well lighted and patrolled. It's adjacent to an Indiana tourist information center, which is convenient for local and regional travelers. All-in-all, far above average for an Interstate respite.”

“This hotel is conveniently located for our travel visits with family in the Northwest Indiana area. The units are clean, the staff is courteous and very dedicated to making your stay a positive experience. I recommend this establishment.”

• They had wonderful breakfast options and the lady serving was extremely helpful.
• Our room was not ready for an hour after check-in time.

“This hotel was clean and quiet even with kids running about. They did not keep the pool stocked with towels; which was not a big deal. The breakfast staff was wonderful. Check-in was horrible, our room was not available for an hour after check-in along with the person checking in before us. I don't think I would go here again.”

• The food was cold and there wasn't a microwave to reheat. It could have been the amount that was prepared.

“The staff was fabulous. The accommodations were perfect. I did not like the miscellaneous charge for incidentals. This information was not shared until I questioned why my debit card was requested at the desk. The food was good however, the eggs were cold and hard. I like the idea of serving the breakfast, yet I don't know how to alleviate the problem.”

• They were above & beyond friendly, wonderful customer service.
• The potatoes on the breakfast bar were not done completely.

“The entire staff was friendly & everyone was always pleasant-opened doors for us, helped with luggage. I was very impressed with this trip-if ever in the area again, I will be back!”

• Easy interstate access to east.
• Interstate to west is torn up.

“After finally reaching it through the construction on the Dan Ryan, it was fine. Just be prepared to search if coming from the South.”

• Nothing negative to report :).

“I had to pay for a reservation made in an emergency situation. I chose not to stay at the hotel since I was told by someone who used to live in the area that it was unsafe. It was beautiful, clean, friendly, met all the needs of our trip. Thank you for this program. I will continue to use it and tell others about it.”

• The room is very clean and have everything we needed plus more.
• Installation is not good, you could hear peoples foot steps from downstairs.

• Lots of room. Awesome free breakfast! Microwave, fridge, etc. in room.
• T.V. made all sorts of high pitched sounds that hurt your ears. Need new T.V. sets.
