“I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the hotel. The refrigerator was so dirty. The bed was not comfortable by any means. They did not have a ice machine and the refrigerator was so dirty I did not trust the ice there.”

• Convenient to shopping, restaurants, interstate highway.
• Dishes were not fully clean, had to take own linens to office at stay end.

“This was a fine hotel for inexpensive and short stay. The bed was fine. There was no shampoo provided. The lock was difficult to operate on the door. No noise problems.”

• Roomy.
• It was hot in the room, smoky for a non smoke room, stunk bad, TV did not come in.

“I would not recommend this room to my worst enemy, the customer service personal had no clue what they were doing, besides helping their friends. I felt unsafe, they need to tear down this hotel.”

• Nice comfortable rooms, price & friendly, helpful staff.
• No pool.

“The hotel may not look fancy, but it is a nice, comfortable place. The rooms are comfortable and clean and offer some amenities that most hotels do not. While this hotel does not have a swimming pool, it does offer guests free access to a Bally's fitness where you can workout or swim. The rooms also offer a mini-kitchen, including a range, microwave, fridge/freezer and plates/cups/forks/knives/spoons.”

• Clean, roomy and convenient.
• We had no power all night. I realize this was not the fault of the hotel, but the tornadoes in the area, but it did effect our stay considerably.

• I liked the cleanliness of the bathrooms and the neatness and cleanliness of the sheets. Also the hotel overall was very nice and clean.
• There wasn't anything about Extended Stay that I didn't like.

“Extended Stay is a very cozy hotel. The name Extended Stay fits the experience you can and will have there. There is a kitchen area for those who need to stay for a long period of time and may have to cook for family. Also if you have snacks and food with you there is also refrigerator.”

“My room was extremely filthy (hair on the floor/sink, smelled stale, and toilet in the other room was broken. My traveling partner and I were very pressed for time and unable to notify the front desk until the next morning, where the nice young lady offered an apology.”

• Convenient location, quiet, large room.
• Unsafe area.

“It worked for me. It was less than 1/2 mile from my family and I could spend a little and have my privacy for the holidays. There are no conveniences, but the staff was really nice. The room was large. The location is poor and dangerous, but it's the south side of Chicago. I would have felt more comfortable if there was some sort of security presence. There was none.”

• I liked refrigerator, stove, dishes, no maid service, and opening windows.
• 3 day stay and only one complementary coffee left in room.

“I needed a weekend getaway with my husband just to relax quietly. The room offered just that. I will recommend this type of hotel to friends who need quiet.”

• It's clean, calm.
• The gaps Navigation couldn't show the hotel correctly, not sure was the problem with address or with gaps :).

“It's good for quick stay, the bed expected to be big, but okay acceptable for the rate paid. Overall am comfortable and happy with the stay. I see no bad/un comfortable things.”

• This hotel is only good for the multi night stay business traveler, who needs a kitchen and nothing else!
• Was not told I had to give special ext. number to wife to call in, no free breakfast, no free Wi-Fi.

“At check in staff did not ask for a credit card for incidentals (turn phone on) had to go back to front desk. Staff should have explained phone ext. number system since they are the only ones that don't use the room number's as the ext. For people to call you!”

• This facility was much better than expected.
• Satellite TV went off air 4 times during 1 night stay.

“This site listed with a one star rating, but should be at least two. The room had a medium sized refrigerator, two burner stove, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, pot, pan, and place settings for two. The room and bathroom were large and clean and the bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend this facility.”

• No extra amenities, like, ice machine, lounge or anything.

“This would be a good hotel for someone just needs somewhere to stay that is not concerned about extra amenities or hotel room service. It was clean and function able and had needed necessities for the price.”

• Beds are too firm, and as usual with ESA hotels no one was at the desk when I arrived.

“This is a great hotel if you don't mind a very firm mattress. It is very clean and near a lot of restaurants and retail stores.”

• They keep prices down by doing away with some of the unnecessary things like house cleaning. You don't need it for just a short stay.
• They are limited in their double rooms.

• The lobby closed at 11pm and no one was there to help after 11/10:30

• The hotel room was like a mini apartment. It has amenities that the real traveler will need.
• I did not get to check in until 9:45 p.m.

“The room was comfortable, it was more like apartment style. The front desk could use a little more organization. Everyone that worked at the hotel was extremely friendly.”

“The hotel was fine. The only thing that I didn't care for there is no attendant after 11pm. My other concern was I didn't want a hotel in the Lansing area but when the first price was not accepted it makes you choose another area and I wanted something in the Tinley Park or Matteson areas.”

“This place had a terrible smell, an unfriendly front desk staff, no housekeeping service for the 2 days I stayed there. Remote control was missing from room. They said it was a smoking room, but no ashtrays. Rest of the clientele looked seedy.”
