• Great location.
• I had to pay $20 to park at the hotel, valet is more!

“Great location to O'Hare, but bring an extra $20 because they charge for parking and there's nowhere else to park!”

• The location was excellent, in a growing area, good shopping and restaurants close by.
• The entry doors need fixing and they could spend a little more on than the faux on breakfast.

“As I stated, this hotel is in a great location. I've been away for a while but this hotel put me within easy access of where I needed to be. There's shopping and restaurants down the street and easy access to the highway from 2 points. I really don't like motels but this one was ok. I hope they continue to invest in the property.”

• Look at number 12.

“The desk clerks were great and the area but they need to put new tubs and fix their lights. I was in room 112 at Howard Johnson. Go check it out. We tried to cut the light on and the lamp shade kept falling because there was no screw to hold it up and then the pole thats in the wall kept coming out which to me is a fire hazard.”

• Convenient to family's home.
• General room appearance was sub-standard to any other place we have stayed previously.

“I was extremely disappointed with the general appearance of the hotel. Howard Johnson's used to stand for quality, but this one definitely misses the mark. Would rather stay at a Motel 6 that here. Would never stay here again. This is the first time we received a bad motel. The furniture was dirty and the heat didn't work correctly.”

• The Hotel had a working refrigerator and microwave which was very convenient.
• Sheets and pillows were dirty; our room was given away, only 1 towel, bathtub dirty.

“The location was convenient; close to stores and restaurants. The hotel itself was a disappointing from the moment of check-in. Our room was not ready and our original room was given away. I probably would not choose that hotel again, even for the price that I paid.”

• Free hot breakfast, but it wasn't hot and it had no taste.
• Scary. I slept with the light and TV on and a chair in front of the door, not well rested after that night.

“I have never been so scared and I travel a lot. If the room had one more thing wrong with it I would have forfeited the fee and left. You need to have a visual before you rate a room. Shame on you. This was sub 0.”

• Day staff was friendly.
• Night staff: rude. Elevator: dirty. Rooms: small & dirty. Amenities: coffee pot (no coffee), iron (very old and dirty), everything bolted down.

“The room I recovered was gone and the manager was rude to me about it when I questioned why. The room we were small we could barley move around the beds. The bathroom in the rooms was discussing, mold on the wallpaper and the floors looked like they hadn't even been swept in months.”

• Proximity to event.
• Room f/2, had to ask for towels-no coffee w/maker.

“We were in room #102, a lot of noise from outside. Visible stains on wall and carpet were disgusting. Ironing board broke when I tried to fold back up. Our entire experience at your hotel was horrible.”

• Poor renovations.

“The clerk told me my room number aloud while a man was standing right next to me. This is totally contrary to hotel safety rules. The toilet paper pokes you in the side when you're on the pot due to bathroom size. Raise it up! This place brags about being under new management. It is poor management.”

• The only good thing about this hotel was it's location to the job at which I was working.
• There are too many things wrong with this place to list in 20 words.
