• Small rooms and very noisy.

“The rooms are tiny and don't expect to get a good nights rest. We heard everyone walking down the hall ways and the room walls are paper thin. We could hear the entire conversations of other guests on both sides of our room. We were awoken each time in the night from someone coming in and out of their rooms. The mattresses are very uncomfortable and old. Plus the parking is $47 per night. Way out of line. We would never stay at this hotel again.”

“Upgrade of $50 for a better view, breakfast, and cocktail snacks a complete waste of money (doubled cost). The room was very small, the view no better, initially given one bed although asked for two, add food offered at times I really couldn't use. No Savings”

• As a solo female traveler I felt comfortable.

“Only good things to report. Good location, desk staff gave me a room with a spectacular view, all hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful, good location as it was just blocks front middle of North Michigan Avenue which gave me easy and close access to everywhere I wanted to go.”

• Internet charges were very high, their billing system is confusing and inaccurate, they tried to bill us for some thing we did not do!

“The hotel is beautiful with outstanding view of the river and the lake, the location is great, 5 minutes walking from the lake, Navy pier and Michigan Avenue. The rooms were clean with very nice comfortable beds. When we checked out there were charges on the bill we never incurred, they charged us for room service but we never ordered also they charged us twice for parking, however the receptionist corrected our bill and the staff was very nice.”

• Very convenient location, friendly staff, easy check-in and check-out.
• Everything was very nice.

“I took my daughter and granddaughter on train to see Chicago. My granddaughter, age 8, kept saying over and over she loves Chicago. She loved the hotel and swimming pool. The staff is very helpful and kind. It was a wonderful experience. I'm sure we will do it again someday.”

• It was clean and the smell of fresh flowers when you first walked in the door was wonderful.
• The tub did not drain very well, and the window would not open properly.

“My wife and I had a great time in Chicago. The location of the hotel made the sights that we were interested in very accessible. We will most likely stay here again the next time we visit the city.”

• The staff was friendly, accommodating and prompt with any request.
• The coffee maker in the room was a one cup should be larger.

“The hotel is very large and busy, but the staff to a person was helpful and very friendly. The concierge was fabulous and fast. The location is outstanding -walking distance to most everything - except the museums but we were not there for that. The experience was positive from top to bottom.”

• The noise in the hallway was a little annoying. (mostly children).

“We were very pleasantly surprised with the hotel. We loved the location being right on the river and still having views of the lake. The room was beautiful and very comfortable too. We hope to go back soon.”

• Housekeeping tried to enter at 8:30 am and 9:30 am on a Saturday morning waking us up.

• It was very clean. Room was pleasant, had a good view and location.
• Parking cost $42. Not easy to get car. Room door was hard to open.

• The bellhop was so helpful, gave directions to places, and made recommendations, even offered to fill our cooler with ice!
• Decor is somewhat dark, bathroom could be cleaner.

“The lobby is amazing with the Zen like fountains and decor. The rooms, however, are not large enough for the dark colors used for decorating. The view was perfect, as I asked at reception for a view the kids would like. (We saw the Navy Pier ferries wheel and the lake) The beds are so comfortable! I was fine in a double with my 6' 7" husband and at home we sleep in a king size. The pool was nice for the kids after walking around the city all day. We had a great stay!”

“Hotel was in a perfect location. Our room (me and two teenage girls) was large, comfortable and clean with a lovely view of the Chicago River and Lake Michigan. Every staff person we talked to was helpful and friendly to us. I can't think of a single complaint.”

• Bathroom wasn't clean. Parking cost more than told via phone. Internet cost $12/day, most hotels are free.

“Did not use hotel parking because it was more. Bathroom wasn't as clean as they should be for this star rate. Beds were good, $5.00 if you open the water bottle. Internet cost $12/day. Come on. Staff was very helpful at desks. Maids followed special request for coffee packs for the next day. View from our room was fine. I am not sure I would stay again.”

“There should be some perks for staying at a 4 star hotel without having to pay so much more. The cost of parking as a guest of the hotel was absolute robbery. I have had more courtesy perks given to me staying at a Holiday Inn.”

• The location was excellent and it was a very nice hotel.
• The restaurant that serves breakfast was closed.

“The room was very comfortable and clean. The view was fabulous, and it was extremely convenient location to walk to the magnificent mile, Navy Pier, and Millennium Park. We even walked home from the Ford Center after watching a performance. The food and drinks at the Chi Bar were very good ( but what you would expect at a hotel such as this one.) They do charge to use the fitness facilities, which I didn't like. Otherwise it was a great stay.”

• Hotel service was excellent, great view from the room, and very friendly people everywhere.
• No access to a microwave (for our leftovers that we had to throw away) and the AC was on too high in the lobby.

“Great staff, great room with a wonderful view, and great location. My husband and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary at the Sheraton Towers and we don't regret a second of it. Close to everything we wanted- Navy Pier, Michigan Ave shopping and restaurants, museums. Talk to the concierge staff- they gave us extra perks in our room, great advice on Chicago nightlife and restaurants. Recommend this hotel to everyone!”

• Spacious room, great location, front desk efficient and friendly, fast, uncrowded elevators.
• Charge for exercise. Stifling, tiny pool. $13 glass of house merlot.

“Large, sound proof rooms, comfy beds, great location, fast empty elevators. Tiny indoor pool with no fresh air and charge for exercise room. But if you are out walking in Chicago who cares. At the bar, beware of the $13/glass house merlot good bourbons, go in that direction.”

• The location is convenient to Navy Pier or the Mag Mile.
• The only thing I had a problem with is the rooms are small and the bathroom smelled like mold. So the bathroom did not feel very clean.

“The Sheraton's location is convenient to most of the Chicago Attractions. It is a few blocks from the Mag Mile as well as Navy Pier. When I checked in the staff asked the reasoning of the stay. I informed them that the stay was to celebrate our engagement. The following day we received Chocolate and a 5 bottle of Merlot in our room. That was very thoughtful of them to think about us. We truly appreciate the generosity that the staff displayed. Overall, really enjoyed the stay, except the rooms were slightly on the small size and the bathroom had a moldy smell.”

“This hotel had much to offer Chicago visitors. We were walking distance from both places of interest near the loop and anything we wanted to do along North Michigan Ave. Our room was spacious and comfortable with a great view. The restaurants in the hotel were varied and the food was excellent. We would happily return to this great place.”

• Pool facilities were an extra $20 per person.

“Front desk check-in staff was exceptional. I was very pleased with our room, very comfortable beds and bedding. I would have preferred to have an actual mini-fridge to store our own drinks and snacks, instead of the typical over-priced minibar items. Great view of river and lake from our hotel. Short walk to Navy Pier.”

• It was very convenient to the downtown and the Navy Pier. The room was also very clean.
• There were no extras. Parking was expensive and there was no complimentary breakfast.

“The room was very clean (although small). The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There were also plenty of clean towels. Our room was also ready when we arrived. The second day, there were some complimentary cookies and good lemonade for the guests. Parking was expensive and there were no extras.”

“It was a pleasant hotel. Nice lobby. Helpful staff. Restaurant had great steaks. Rooms were about average. The bathroom floor could have been cleaned a little better but everything else was very good. Lemonade and cookies in the lobby was a nice touch on a hot day. You can take a short stroll along the river from the back of the hotel. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel and go back.”

• The hotel was beautifully appointed. The beds were outstandingly comfortable! Hotel personnel were very helpful and friendly.

“The Sheraton Towers in Chicago is a great location for those wanting to stay near the water. You have great excess to public transportation and Navy Pier. The hotel staff was very helpful in giving us assistance and direction. Walgreen's is right across the street for those who are on the go (water, soda, snacks). Our room was exceedingly comfortable, especially the beds. This was an added bonus as we ran the city from morning till late evening. Although a bit further south on Michigan Avenue, it took just a matter of minutes for my daughter and I to walk to the corner to catch a bus, on Michigan Ave. At times, we would just walk over to the hotel our friends were staying without any difficulty at all. We would absolutely stay at the Sheraton again.”

“We have stayed at this property before and were hoping to get one of those awesome tower rooms with the new beds but got a double instead. The double rooms are really small and didn't seem to be updated as well as the other ones. Somewhat dated and in need of some small repairs.”
