• Good location and nice fitness room.
• Did not have fridge in room and did not know oversized vehicles were not allowed in valet parking.

• The location was absolutely great.
• The restaurant and bar was too expensive.

“I liked to location and the staff was very friendly. I just would have liked the restaurant to be a little less expensive. We like having a drink to relax in the afternoon or evening and we had to leave the hotel for that.”

• Room accommodated our family, staff was very friendly and helpful.
• Pool was small and pool water was cold. No Jacuzzi.

“The customer service at this hotel was outstanding! Staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The hotel had good security measures, which made me feel safe with my children. The room was clean and the set up of the room accommodated our family well. The parking for the hotel was reasonable for the area. The location was excellent, allowing us to walk to all of our destinations. The complimentary internet access in the room was helpful.”

• Location!
• To get the $28 per day price for parking I was not allowed to remove the vehicle during my stay

• It was centrally located to shopping and restaurants.
• The hotel restaurant was not child friendly at all.

“Great place to stay. The bell staff were helpful with luggage and taxis. We were traveling with children the hotel does not have milk or juice (only sweetened) available in vending machines and there is no convenience shop.”

• Location & room size.
• Bed not as comfortable as Hampton Inn, not enough electrical outlets.

“Consistent, predictable quality expected from Courtyard and Marriott. Good location, helpful staff. I did not find the bed to be as comfortable as I expected. I had to stay at Hampton Inn elsewhere the previous 3 nights and found thier bed much more comfortable than at this Courtyard.”

• Nice location to everything that we wanted to go and see.

“It was a nice hotel for the most part, we were just a little disappointed about the parking that we did not know we had to pay for at the hotel. We had brought cold drinks that were then warm all weekend and no microwave to reheat meals that we had brought back to the hotel for a later time, that was then thrown out and wasted.”

• The location was perfect and the staff were responsive and helpful. I loved the convenience of the valet parking.
• The concierge was not as friendly and helpful as I would have expected.

“I loved this hotel. The location was perfect for touring. One block from the Magnificent Mile and convenient to public transportation. From the minute I walked in the hotel staff was friendly and the environment was welcoming. Overall, great stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to go to Chicago.”

• The location was incredible and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
• The restaurant was not open for dinner.

“We were in Chicago for an overnight trip. The location was excellent; we were able to shop, see a ballet and visit other locations either by walking or within a $6 cab ride. The rooms were spacious and clean. I would definitely stay here again.”

• The location and price were fantastic.
• The lobby was small but for being in the city not bad.

“The location was fantastic, right off of Michigan Ave. The hotel rooms were good, and clean, showers had great water pressure and nice marble walls. bed sheets were clean, and had nice fluffy pillows and blankets. Room size was normal one bed, 2 night stands, a pull out sofa, coffee table and a dresser with a TV. Nothing to complain about.”

• The bed was great! Easy access to miracle mile.
• Room was very small.

“Although the room was small, it was very comfortable. The bed was great. It was 1 block from Michigan Avenue and all the great shopping and many restaurants were within walking distance. Great service from staff. Parking ramp was adjoining the hotel and easy to access.”

“The hotel location was great. Close to major attractions and restaurants. The hotel staff was professional and friendly. The room was clean and bright. The only negative is the parking. $28/night for self park - no in and out. $46/night for valet parking - in and out.”

“Second time in 1 month at Chicago Magnificent Mile area, this time shocked at the drunks sleeping in the area. My wife and I are not returning to Chicago for a long while it puts quite a damper what we think of the hotel after our disturbing experience.”

• Very convenient to the sights we were interested in.
• I wanted a two bed room and that was not available and had to sleep on a couch.

“We arrived at 11:30 PM at the hotel. They only had one of our rooms available. The next day we did get our rooms along with a snack tray and a bottle of wine.”

“Overall the hotel was fine. Location was great, everything was clean although there were no towels in the pool area, somebody had used them all up and they were not replace. I would recommend this place to a friend although price was a little steep for the accommodations, but again location was good.”

“We really enjoyed our stay here! We never heard a sound from the outside while in our room and we never heard a slamming door. That was amazing to us and as a result got a great night's sleep. Could go down and get a Starbuck's too as soon as we woke up!”

• 1 block off magnificent mile - during night police sirens.

“Greeted by very friendly valet parking attendant. He made several suggestions about parking and taking cabs to and from our show. Very courteous check-in, with an explanation of facilities and their use. Nearby sandwich shops and mini-market (None on site) One block to Magnificent Mile shopping three block to Water Tower Place.”

• The location to Navy Pier and other attractions rain forest cafe.
• Pool was way too small and way too many people in it. No hot tub.

“The hotel is in a great location if you are visiting the city for shopping and seeing prominent attractions. Very nice things to see in walking distance with small children. The only bad things about the hotel were that the pool was very small and there was no hot tub.”
