- That is was a suite and very roomy.
- Toilet paper (no pun intended).
“I was thrilled to know that my priceline was the Omni. It is perfectly situated for shopping and food. The room was roomy and lovely and linens very nice. Staff was awesome and helpful and the free starbucks early morning a big plus. The gym, not bad for a hotel.”

- The suite rooms offered lots of space and comfort.
“The hotel is located in the heart of the magnificent mile. The suite style rooms offer lots of room and the living room has a large flat screen TV. Staff was very helpful.”

- Great location on Miracle Mile (2 blocks S of Water Tower and 7 blocks N of Chicago River)
- Single sink in bathroom. Had to alternate use with spouse.

- clean rooms and enough space in room for 4 people.
- its close to the northwestern hospital so we heard all the sirens all night long.
“All in all a very nice hotel. close to excellent shopping and restaurants. We enjoyed our stay there. there is some construction taking place next door and we happened to be on that side of the hotel so if we had wanted to sleep past 800 am it would have been impossible.”

- Location! I felt like I was in a luxury apartment. The customer service is outstanding!
- Favorite radio station reception was poor.
“The location is perfect (the heart of the magnificent mile). The customer service is outstanding! The suites are like luxury apartments. The beds are extremely comfortable. The flat screen TV is fun! I was able to run to lake shore in minutes. Cab rides were just minutes away and very affordable. Concierge was very helpful as I was there alone and he made my stay safe and fun. The in room massage by Windy City Massage was superb! I have no complaints!”

“This was a wonderful hotel in a wonderful vacation. Walking distance or a short cab ride from the most of the Chicago attractions. We loved the room and the service at the bar was fun. We really loved the Omni.”

- I love the access to the downtown Chicago attractions.
- Everything was great.
“I loved our time here. Definately would try to stay here again. Close to the shopping and all the action around Michigan Ave. Easy access to the subway. We couldn't have had a better location or hotel in Chicago. We go twice a year and this is our FAVORITE hotel yet.”

“The Chicago Omni is a wonderful upscale hotel on Michigan Avenue Miracle Mile - two blocks from Water Tower, and 6 blocks from the Theatre District and Millennium Park. My wife and I had a much needed escape from kids, dogs, lawn, work, etc.”

- We loved that rooms were suites and that staff was quick to correct and compensate for any problems that arose.
- Coffee cart in lobby was very limited for breakfast food (muffins etc.) available and supply was usually short.
“Queen bed suite with pull-out queen sofa was very clean with maid services 2x a day. Space in two rooms was quite adequate for weekend stay for 2 adults and two 10 year olds. Location of the hotel is great for shopping as it is almost square in the middle of Michigan Ave. shopping. Dining for breakfast at buffet in restaurant was definitely worth it and not a typical buffet - it was elegant and had personal chef for special order omelet's. Excellent food. Good children's menu as well for little or light eaters with fair pricing. Staff was friendly and helpful.”

- Parking is $50! That's steep even for Chicago.
“This hotel is the best I have stayed in in all of Chicago. The rooms are great and the staff is incredibly friendly. The location can not be beat. Parking is pricey, most of the other hotels are only about $30 but the Omni is $50. I'm not cheap but I'm from Chicago and that is steep even for here.”

- The location could not have been any better. The bed the mattress, pillows, and the blankets all made you feel like you were floating on a cloud.

- The bathroom was excellent. The really large shower was a real bonus. The free iced tea in the lobby was surprisingly good.
- It was a bit annoying that it was necessary to take two separate elevators from the ground to the room.

- The value for the price was wonderful. The gentleman that checked us in at the front desk was extremely helpful! All staff was.
- We stayed on 5th floor where pool was. Room had strong chlorine smell.
“The hotel was wonderful and staff very courteous. The front desk clerk that checked us in could not have been nicer and even remembered our name the next morning! Parking was a little expensive (49.00 a night), but the valets were very helpful with directions and efficient at getting the cars. My only complaint is that we were on the 5th floor (where the pool is located) and our room smelled terribly of chlorine. However, we were only in our room a short time so it was not big of an issue.”

- Rooms are all suites.
- Hotel staff overbooked and had to share room with college. Never called us to notify of error.
“I arrived after a 17 hour work day at 11:30 PM with my co-worker. We finally get to the hotel and are told they only have one room for the night. They say they will put the other person in a room at another hotel. Outside the city. At this point, we are tired and frustrated no one ever called us to notify this would occur. Long story short, male and female co-workers had to share a room for one night. We are both married, and were put in a very uncomfortable situation by the staffs error. Management did not do anything to compensate for my inconvenience, but did give my co worker a bottle of wine and cracker cheese plate in his room the next night. It was a very uncomfortable and unprofessional.”

- Location for shopping was ideal and the quality exceeded my expectations.
- You have to take 2 different elevators to get to the rooms.
“I was extremely pleased with the accommodations and the location. The staff was pleasant and helpful and the rooms exceptionally clean. Only criticism is the inconvenience of having to switch elevators to get to the rooms and in the fitness rooms they were out of cups and it took 30 minutes for someone to bring any.”

- I appreciated the friendly staff.
- The toilet was clogged both nights and the mini fridge was not cold!
