• The location was fantastic and the view was great.
• The refrigerator in the room could have been cooler.

“We were very happy with the hotel. The rooms were very well appointed and the location could not be beat. We walked to Navy Pier and the Art Institute without a problem. In addition, the concierge was very helpful getting us a dinner reservation when our first choice was not available.”

• Room was exceptionally spacious and decor was lovely, all facilities were excellent.
• Dining room prices were steep and lobby was on second level, a bit confusing at first.

• The concierge staff was exceptional.
• They do not recycle guests newspapers or bottles.

“From the time you arrive until you leave the hotel staff makes you feel special. The room was sumptuous with fine quality linens in the bedroom, tasteful furnishings in all the rooms. Well stocked bar and all the amenities you could want in the bathroom from a lighted magnifying mirror to bath salts.”

• I really liked the friendliness of the staff and their helpfulness.
• I thought the bedroom was a little small. The bathroom was a reasonable size.

• Location for shopping was ideal and the quality exceeded my expectations.
• You have to take 2 different elevators to get to the rooms.

“I was extremely pleased with the accommodations and the location. The staff was pleasant and helpful and the rooms exceptionally clean. Only criticism is the inconvenience of having to switch elevators to get to the rooms and in the fitness rooms they were out of cups and it took 30 minutes for someone to bring any.”

• Its location was perfect. Right off of the magnificent mile and the room was beautiful!
• When we went to take a shower there wasn't any hot water. They gave us a key and we had to shower in another room.

• Terrific location close to shops & restaurants. Well appointed suites as standard.
• Parking really expensive - $46 per day.

“My wife and I stayed over a Saturday night to attend a downtown party and then do Christmas shopping. The location is right on Michigan Avenue in the heart of the shopping district. The rooms are suites with separate living and sleeping areas. Our room was clean and luxuriously appointed. Staff was helpful and friendly. The only turn-off was the very hefty parking fee - $46 per day.”

• All hotel employees were very helpful & friendly.
• Limited exercise equipment compared to other facilities that I have stayed with.

“The Omni is conveniently located in the heart of the Miracle Mile providing easy access to shopping, theater and restaurants. Each hotel employee greeted you with a smile and was willing to offer assistance. I especially noticed the housekeeping staff as being very friendly and quick to respond to requests (extra towels for another hotel guest). Another example was the front desk clerk looking up the location of the nearest Corner Bakery and printing off a MapQuest map. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was our 25th anniversary and the Omni helped to make it a memorable experience.”

• Fantastic Location on heart of the Magnificent Mile.
• The hotel entrance is actually on Huron St. East not North Michigan Ave.

“Fantastic hotel in great location. My only gripe would be that the main entrance is not on North Michigan (as advertised), and it is no fun trying to find a side street when you are driving a car at rush hour in Downtown Chicago.”

“We recently stayed at the omni hotel in Chicago and wanted to let management know about a disturbing incident during our stay. On Saturday, I wore a robe from the closet, and then on Sunday morning, I noticed an alarming stain which turned out to be dried fecal matter. I was so disturbed because I had worn it for a while lounging in the room the night before, even while lounging in the bed! When my husband checked out on Monday morning, he mentioned this to the front desk and they replied that they would 'comp' the one beer we took from the mini fridge, which ended up on our credit card after all.”

“I was very disappointed in the treatment I received upon check in. It was not four star treatments. Before check in and after receiving my confirmation. I called the hotel to make sure I could get a king bed I was told absolutely that I would. I was given a queen. I did get moved to a king room but it was a smoking room. I could be wrong but my experience was not pleasant.”

• Even though the hotel was a 4-star hotel, it was very "kid friendly."
• Parking is $46 per night! Yes, $46 per night!

“Oftentimes, 4-star hotels are stuffy and the staff can be snooty. The omni staff was relaxed and even welcomed my kids the minute we walked into the door, which surprised me actually. The decor is upscale without being pretentious. The room was very comfortable. I have three kids so I booked two rooms. Upon check in, the hotel had us on two different floors but they quickly accommodated my request to have two connecting rooms.”

• We thought we were going to have a bigger bathtub.

“My husband and I had a marvelous time on our quick get-away weekend for my birthday celebration. The hotel was located right on Chicagos magnificent mile. Of course, it helped that the weather was perfect fall sunny weather. We will gladly stay at this property again and would recommend everyone give it a try.”

• Both my partner and I were allergic to something in the bedding!

“Very convenient location. Excellent proximity to Michigan avenue shopping and countless restaurants! The room sizes were a huge plus but the bathtub/shower area was a little cramped. Overall a great hotel. We enjoyed it very much and would definitely return in the future!”

“We had a jr. suite that was nicely decorated, the bed was great. The view from our room was not very good, but the pool area has a great balcony that over looks Michigan Ave. Every thing was classy and comfortable, with great service staff.”
