• Plastic bottles
  filled with chilled water on each floor.
• The room was very small and basic for a 3-star.

“The staff was friendly and helpful, no complaints there, asked for a roll away bed for son at check in, did have to call to request it again, but they delivered it right away after that call, very small room, no continental breakfast included.”

“We had a fantastic experience at this hotel and I would recommend it to anyone; the room looked new and very currently updated. The staff had some of the best service I've experienced in the city; I liked the smaller size of the hotel; the free water on every floor was a great perk.”

• The hotel was in an excellent location and looked great both inside and out.
• The internet was slow and the rooms were pretty small.

“I had a great experience at this hotel. It is close to public transportation and was very clean. We had a few problems with the bathroom, but they were fixed immediately. The staff knew the area and had a lot of knowledge of the local tourist spots. Would stay here again.”

• The free bottles and chilled filtered water were really nice!
• Easy to hear noises from other rooms, wireless signal weak in our room.

“Great place to stay if you're not super picky. If all you need is a room to stay in while you're in town, it's clean and convenient. The free bottles and chilled filtered water are really handy before you head out and when you return. It can be a little noisy at times and our wireless signal in the room was pretty weak, but not bad. Overall, a great place to stay for the price!”

• Very conveniently located to CAT and attractions, let us check in early and very helpful in finding tours.
• Hotel room and hallway is noisy.

“This was a very attractive, conveniently located hotel. It was very clean and the staff was very helpful. We found the hotel very close to Midway airport and the orange line (CAT) system. We would stay there again.”

• Very clean, friendly service, comfortable rooms, good shower and nice lobby.
• Very corporate and lacked personality.

“This hotel was very comfortable, but I wanted to spend as little time there as possible since it's rather boring. As a result, Club Quarters in Chicago suits the business traveler well. Especially for leisure travelers, there is no point to stay in your room other than to sleep and to shower. One convenient and complimentary amenity is the water purifier machines and empty water bottles on each floor. It eliminates the need to buy bottled water elsewhere.”

“This hotel was very clean and very nicely decorated. The room was on the small side, but for one or two people, completely adequate. Everything was very up to date and modern. The location was fantastic. Very close to the El and right across the street from the bus station. I would definitely stay here again.”

• Room was very dark.

“The hotel shares the building with the Central Loop Hotel. Whilst I was there the lobby was being refitted and was rather cold and noisy with only one lift working. However, my room was clean, tastefully furnished and quite large (if rather dark). There is free and fast internet access in the rooms.”

• The staff was helpful and friendly.
• The restaurant should have an outside liquor license so that guests may purchase beer or take their drinks with them back to their rooms.

• It was classy.
• It did not provide too many amenities like in other hotels.

“The hotel was great. It is small but great for business travelers. The staff is super friendly and they offer a lot of bonuses for the business traveler. They have conference rooms, free coffee in club room and free printing at two facilities, the club room and a room located on third floor. There is also free bottled water and the cleanliness was great! I enjoyed the view from the hotel window and how quiet every floor seemed to be. If I'm ever in Chicago again I will be staying there.”

• The hotel was in a great location and the rooms were clean.
• The hotel rooms were very small and the hallway to the rooms was a bit uncomfortable.

“The hotel was in a great location. We were only block away from great shopping and dining. However, the rooms were very small. The hallway to the rooms were really conjested. I was a bit uneasy while walking through the hallways because of the design of hallway.”

“We were generally pleased with our stay. However, we didn't know ahead of time there would be an additional fee for parking, which was $30.00. Everything was clean and the bed was in good condition and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.”

• The foyer was nice. The cold water bottles and shower were nice.
• The rooms could be bigger. I would like to see the suites.

“We had a family vacation which was really enjoyable. Chicago is a delightful city. Club Quarters is right in the middle of everything that a tourist needs to see. The hotel clerk was very helpful. The beds had the most amazing pillows and comforters better than home! The walk in shower was very ample and clean. The walls were well insulated from sound for a restful night's sleep. I liked the design of how two rooms face each other on an angle.”

• Good location and a very helpful and friendly staff.

“The hotel is within walking distance of Union Station and just a short hop over to the stores on State Street and Michigan Avenue. When we told them we were there celebrating up wedding anniversary, they upgraded our room for us and sent us a bottle of wine, which was a nice treat. We enjoyed our stay and would go there again.”

• Location.

“Even at the price, this is a wonderful hotel. The location is perfect for getting to all the local theaters and shopping. Access to the L and other public transportation is fantastic. Bottled water on each floor is an added benefit. I would consider staying here again.”

• Everything was new and clean.

“We would definitely recommend this hotel and stay again. It is very quiet and clean. We enjoy the loop area; however, on Sunday's most things are closed in this area so you have to do shopping and such on Michigan.”

• Loved the room and lobby decor. Very convenient Loop location.
• Could not read in bed without disrupting sleeping partner. (Too bright)

“This is an ideal hotel for business travelers. The room was small but well-designed with good workspace. The filtered water available in the hall was a nice perk. The downside was the lobby seating area is always cold from the front doors and the restaurant service was inconsistent, although friendly. Great Loop location and 2 blocks to the EL train. I would definitely stay here again.”

• Rooms were very small like dorm size and we had twin beds.

“There was only one friendly front desk person. The rest were unfriendly. The rooms were smaller than any hotel I have ever stayed in and we had twin beds. We got stuck in the elevator for an hour and no one seemed to care. They didn't even know we were still stuck in there. At the hotel resturant we had a very unfriendly server.”

“The room was rather small for a 3-star hotel in the United States, but had all the amenities necessary for business travelers. There was no bathtub in my room, which was not a big deal. There is complementary internet access in the basement. You can always hook up to the internet from the room without extra charge. The entire hotel was maintaned very clean. Conveniently located in the downtown loop. A nice pick for business travelers.”

• Designed for business travelers. No frills, free internet, bottled water and quiet.
• View of valley, small room.

“This was a business hotel that was exceptionally well priced with basic, clean, small rooms, no frills. If you have business to do in the Chicago its location was ideal. I took the train in from the airport, walked 2 blocks to the hotel and for the entire trip never had to get in a taxi. Plus free internet and bottled water was added value that I appreciated.”

• It was close to the Metro trains and has a good restaurant.
• The rooms are small and I did not like the frosted glass bathroom door.

“It a good place to stay if you're not in your room much, only because the rooms are quite small. The restaurant downstairs has good food, service, and is reasonably priced. The hotel is clean and the staff is helpful and kind.”

• I really liked the new euro style room, it was very clean and up to date.
• Couldn't get a king size bed.

“This is a hotel I would stay in again! The desk staff was very helpful and knowledgeable about the city (recommended great restaurants). The parking lot is about two blocks away on Federal St. The room was even nicer than I had expected, and it was in a great location - walking distance to a lot of points of interest.”

• Location and helpfulness of staff.
• Slightly cramped layout of room, but this did not overly affect our stay.

“The Club Quarters Hotel is in a prime location for business people (near several train stops) and tourists (near Grant Park, Sears Tower), alike. They have very reasonable self-parking prices, only a block and a half from the lobby. A great place to stay when seeing Chicago for the first or fifteenth time!”
