- The staff was helpful and accommodating.
- All the flower pots outside contained dead dried up flowers.
“I am definitely coming back and bringing my family. You cant find great staff very often and the staff here was outstanding. The only complaint I had was when we got to the hotel all the outside flower pots were dead and died up and that caused me to be concerned about the quality of the inside of the hotel but luckily the outside did not represent the inside experience. It would have gave a great impression had there been colorful flowers around the building.”

- The suite we stayed in was very nice. It had 2 TVs and a microwave. Very spacious.
- Nothing.
“I enjoyed my stay. I think the kiosk that allowed patrons to find out about attractions, restaurants, and entertainment around the city was great. The convenience of a restaurant in the hotel was nice as well. The staff was very accommodating and friendly.”

“We selected it because of its reasonably close proximity to Chinatown where we were visiting relatives. Room was clean and reasonably comfortable, except it was hard to get the room temperature right. Parking is $30 per night. Staff was excellent. Pizza restaurant is great except for the breakfast which is just ok.”

- The hospitality of the staff and their ability to assist the guests of the hotel.
- Hotel is dated and location has many vagrants and miscreants residing on the street corners after dark!
“While the hotel accommodations were moderate at best, the guest services staff was exceptional. The restaurant staff was slow and unresponsive to the few customers; the food was cold upon receipt. If you do not mind a brief walk, the hotel is conveniently located near Grant Park. As soon as the sun went down, we were harassed by many vagrants and miscreants. Overall, I would give a 1-1/2-2 star rating to the hotel.”

“This was by far the worst hotel, accommodations and locality. The staff at the desk acted like I was bothering them to check in, never smiled, and only mentioned that this was a long day. I did not feel really safe once outside the hotel and the distance to downtown was a good hike.”

“Went to Chicago for an overnight stay so my 11 year old could go to American Girl Place. Hotel was convenient to Union Station and we got on the bus across from Sears tower, which we liked. On the way back, we got off the blue line only a block from the hotel. The location was perfect. Room was comfortable and clean. Had a great time.”

- The only thing that was nice about the hotel is the staff.
- The location was horrible; there was nothing in walking distance to eat or site see.
“The staff at the hotel was very friendly and accommodating. Besides the hospitality the hotel location was horrible. It was right off the highway, which was easy to find. But there was nothing close to walk to eat or sight sees to enjoy the downtown area. Also the wall paper was peeling in our room and the bathroom did not have a fan. The also did not work and the clock radio was very small.”

- So noisy we couldn't sleep.
“It was almost on top of 2 very busy interstates and had poor to none at all sound insulation either from outside or between rooms. Small room with few amenities. On top of traffic noise, we were next to the hotel's maids hangout and had significant foul language till midnight and beginning at 5 a.m. What good is a motel room if you can't sleep! ”

“The hotel staff is extremely friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable. I stayed in an odd numbered room and had an extreme amount of traffic noise from the "l" and highway. - It was steps from the blue line.
- The walls are paper thin. The area is unsafe at night. It was ugly and uncomfortable.
“I was extremely disappointed with this hotel. With a 3 star, I expect a certain level of cleanliness, comfort and overall safety. Instead, I got paper thin walls, a room that was filled with the stench of cigarettes (even though I requested a non-smoking room), the food was awful at the restaurant and I feared for my daughter's safety in the evening when we were outside. I would never stay there again and Iżm having serious difficulty wanting to take a gamble again. I cannot trust its star ratings anymore.”

- Nothing.
- The staff was rude: they added $30.00 valet charges to your bill even if you did not use valet. No assistance with luggage arriving or departing.
“The hotel was hidden, they forced you to pay a $30.00 valet charge if you were a guest there regardless if you used the parking or not. You had to get a cart and move your luggage. We had to change rooms due to a hotel error, I had to leave my sister in the room while the changed keys, because after they changed the key would no longer work. Go get a cart, come back to the room move my luggage from 3rd floor or 5th floor, take the cart back.”

- Good customer service, cleanloness everywhere, good valet parking.
- Would have been greet if threes a microwave and small refrigerator in the room.
