• Plenty of Parking.
• The bathroom was extremely dirty and had not been cleaned in a while.

“My wife and I stayed three days in this motel and would not recommend or return to the hotel. This hotel definitely has issues. The room that we stayed in was not clean. The toilet had stains left in the bowl. There was also urine on the seat, bowl rim and floor. There was stains on the bed skirt. There was something on the alarm clock that I would not touch. Given this, I question the overall cleanliness of the facility.”

• Quick check-in, convenience store in hotel.
• Room not properly cleaned, untrimmed foliage rubbed against wall all night.

“Not close to the beach. Shopping center next door with movies, good food and Starbucks. Typical Courtyard by Marriott but my room had hair on lampshades and in shower and smelled of disinfectant. Good internet, TV smaller than most Courtyards. Breakfast wasn't served according to schedule posted in room.”

• The staff was the friendliest that I have ever met, maids, etc.
• You have to pay for the hotel breakfast, which the same setup is free with most hotels.

• The bed and pillows were the best I have ever had in a hotel room.
• The price.

“The hotel is very accessible to the beach, the outlet malls and not too far from the tourist areas or the beach. The beds and lines were wonderful. Sorry we could not have enjoyed for a longer amount of time.”

• The patio furniture around the pool.
• Room was not properly cleaned.

“We arrived at 4:00pm and our room was not ready. We called back at 5:20 pm and our room was still not ready. We had traveled 6 hours and had concert tickets to see Brooks & Dunn at The Wharf. We called back again at 6:18 pm and our room was finally ready. It was not ready due to being short handed in housekeeping. We finally arrived about 6:30 pm and got the room. 2 women to get ready and be at a 7:00pm concert. We left the hotel at 7:10 pm and missed the first performer and he sings 1 of my favorite songs. I was not happy at all. The tickets were $59.50 each. We were rushed and sweating by the time we got there. It was the hotels fault.”

• The room was very clean and spaces also the beds was soft and comfortable. We felt very safe and had plenty shopping near by.
• Did not see a kiddies pool for the little ones. The sign on the highway was not a great visible sign.

“We as a family enjoyed our stay and will come back again. The room was very clean and spaces. The pool was nice and had plenty of room to sit down. Not a 4 or 5 star hotel but great for a couple days of stay. I would recommend this to my other friends or who ever is looking to have a great weekend.”

“Great location in Gulf Shores with first-rate, family friendly swimming pool. Hotel property is adjacent to shopping, dining and a movie theatre. Quick and easy drive to the Gulf Coast beaches. Wonderful hotel for a family stay.”

“When we walked in there was a musty odor that never really went away. The toilets were not clean, I won't get into detail there. The beds were comfortable and the sheets seemed to be clean.”

• Staff was rude, front lobby was filthy, not quiet at all.

“Our stay there was horrible. We asked the hotel for two night and only ended up staying for one. The location was not 0.1 mile off the beach, it was more like 2 miles. The front lobby was filthy, the staff was rude and they began putting in new sinks in every room at 9 a.m. not everyone wants to get up at 9 a.m. while on vacation. The only good thing about it was the comfort of the small sized bed.”

• Wi-Fi was slow and intermittent. Bathroom had no tub to catch shower water.

“Overall I enjoyed the Hotel very much. It was clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. They charge for breakfast which I saw to be a common complaint, but I never ate at the hotel with so many restaurants near by. I only had two problems with the room. First, the Wi-Fi was slow and intermittent during the entire week. Second, the bathroom had no tub for the shower, so the water pooled on the floor and was a hassle. Also the bathroom had no shelves for toiletries, just one small soap dish. However, the good things very much outweighed the bad and I would definitely stay here again.”

• Out door pool-it was too cold to use out side but would have been nice inside.

“Good location for going to amusement parks, about 3 miles from the beach. Not a place for view or ambiance. The casual and friendly staff made the boys feels comfortable. Pool area and hot tub were enjoyable, with swimming past midnight. Rooms were clean and neat. Breakfast buffet was pretty good for the price.”

• The hotel was on the way to the beach. It was very clean.
• They charged 8.00 for breakfast. The same breakfast that was free the night before at a resident Inn.

• The staff was very unfriendly and very unhelpful. Never tried to go out of their way to help.

“Upon arrival the staff was not going to let my husband check in since the room was in my name however after a small discussion they decided to. Then they were going to charge a different rate because it was in my name and not his. I was sitting in the vehicle not 5 yards away! Bad way to start out. The staff acted like they were not happy to be doing their jobs. Also their breakfast cost 7.25 per person! What happen to free breakfast???”

• The breakfast! There were no signs posted advising guests that the breakfast was not a free continental!

“The hotel was great, very clean, the staff was very friendly! The only problem we had was when we ate breakfast, we thought it was a complimentary continental breakfast, nothing at the bar would make me question otherwise, but we were charged $7.99 for an adult & $4.99 for a child! A very expensive bagel and bowl of cereal! The hotel needs to let the guests know that there is a charge for breakfast! We found out the expensive way!”

• not as close to food locations as I hoped, but not too much of an issue.

“I expected a mediocre hotel, but it turned out to be one of the best hotel stays I've had in a long time. The staff was ever friendly when handling my inquiries and check-in/check-out. The location was pretty close to the beach, but not close enough to keep you stuck in traffic. My only complaint is that its not too close to that many fast food/restaurant places. That's remedied by a 3 - 5 minute drive either way. With the construction of a shopping center next door, that will probably be remedied. I would definitely stay here again in the future.”

“The rooms were clean and nice. Check in time does not mean anything to them. But, check out time you better be out on time. The elevator gets stuck all the time. Never would I stay again!!”

• We checked in late, and they still let us get in the pool after it closed. The beds were great.
• I have no complaints.

“This hotel was great. It was clean, well decorated, and well equipped. We checked in a bit late and they let us swim an hour after closing. Our room had a nice porch with chairs and a table. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again.”

• The housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful
• The breakfast buffet was not good...blueberrys tasted like wet paper and the whole strawberries had been frozen and were soggy.

“Convenient to the highway , shopping and beach. For the most part, very friendly staff except for one. The rooms were clean but the area around the sink was terribly small...couldn't fit make-up bag on it. Overall very pleasant.”

• The hot tub and the Gazebo by pool
• It was a little drive to the beach

“It was a very nice hotel. It was reasonable price for a hotel like this. The hotel provided free map/brochure for Gulfshore area. It had a nice indoor hot tub, workout area and outdoor pool. Staff was friendly. Some of the rooms had a balcony and the grounds had nice landscape. I wish it was on the beach, but the drive was only about 7 minutes to beach. I would stay there again.”
