• Nothing.
• Stayed at Marriott's, all of their brands and this was dingy and old. No curtains on window and we were on the first floor, street level.

“I was traveling with my brother to a family wedding. We called ahead to request 2 double beds. But when I asked if they had the availability, they said absolutely but it would cost more. Clearly not wanting to share a bed with my brother I even told them I would pay more and still they denied me. After arguing with the manager, it was finally resolved. I stayed the night before at the W hotel and had no such difficulty. Poor customer service, especially when their parking lot was nearly empty reflective of their low occupancy!”

• The beds were very comfortable. Room was clean.

“The staff was friendly and helpful. Very comfortable room. and clean. We stayed in the Tinley Park area several times through Priceline. This was the best location, the best hotel.”

• I liked the breakfast when they had boiled eggs but it stops too early.

“It was a very nice hotel. I liked the breakfast but the time to end came too early. Breakfast should last at least until 9:30 am.”

• Very clean, and includes a clean pool and whirlpool.
• Continental breakfast was to small/cramped for the number of people.

“This is our 2nd stay at the hotel and aside for the small space for the breakfast, the hotel is an amazing value! Very clean building/rooms. Very nice staff. And just enough amenities for the price.”

• Our room was very nice and clean. Front desk was cheerful, courteous and helpful.
• The hot tub was out of service.

“Other than the hot tub being out of service, our stay was comfortable and enjoyable.”

• The staff was very friendly and helpful.
• For some reason the beds (mattresses) were not comfortable.

“I liked a lot about the hotel but the 2 things I have to say I did not like was that the pool was too cold and the bed was not very comfortable.”

• I'm a stickler for cleanliness in a hotel and this hotel met my expectations in cleanliness.
• There was not one thing that I did not like.

“Overall, we were met with extremely friendly staff, clean and nicely decorated rooms and a nice breakfast. Oh, and the beds! The beds had very comfortable pillow top mattresses with four very comfy pillows on each bed. We will definitely stay here again!”

• They charged me again once I got to the hotel and made my account overdrawn.

“Loved the location and the hotel. Desk clerk was awful. Argued with me about what card I paid for my reservation with. Charged me again for the room and my bank account was overdrawn, manager went to the ER and could not reverse the mistake for 2 days.”

• Continental Breakfast had good quality and selection (including fresh waffles).
• I called before I arrived to see if early check in was possible, and the staff member that answered was rude. The manager was very friendly though.

“We were very happy with this hotel overall. The hotel was very clean and the manager was helpful and friendly; even when the lobby was chaotic and full of people trying to check in, he remained calm and cordial. The beds were very comfortable and had nice higher thread count sheets on them. The continental breakfast was good and had a great selection of high quality offerings including fresh made waffles. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.”

• Location.
• Not clean and not maintained.

“Booked rooms for two couples. Our room was not very clean. The other couple had to stand ankle deep in shower water because the tub would not drain. When they complained about it they were told there were no other rooms. Funny thing is it was Sunday night and the parking lot was half empty. Not likely to stay at a Fairfield again!”

• There were carts available to load & transport luggage.
• The continental breakfast area was quite crowded.

“The staff was very friendly and helpful. There were 5 pillows on each bed, which I thought was excellent. The room was clean.”

• The staff was incredibly friendly and courteous especially Chuck the hotel supervisor.
• Pool was very small for the amount of kids that were there.

• The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was very nice!
• There were a lot of children running around the halls and playing in the pool.

“My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. We were in town to visit family over the New Year's holiday and the location was great to visit all of Chicago's South-side. The staff was very courteous and the hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and good.”

• Clean, affordable room. Exactly what we needed, considering the small amount of time we'd be there.
• Like every hotel, the pool closes way too early. I would pay extra for an extended hours pool.

“If you just need a nice, clean place to crash, this hotel is perfect. If you plan to spend some time there and want some nice bells and whistles, this might not be the place for you (no bars, entertainment, etc.).”
