“Great hotel located a short distance from airport, lots of restaurants a short distance away. Nice bar in the lobby. Airport shuttle ran on time very efficiently. Didn't eat at the hotel but they had both a sit down restaurant and a counter where you could grab a quick bite. Would definitely stay there again.”

• Their service! We needed an extra bed and they changed the room for free!
• It would have been nice to have a pool, especially for the children.

“I was treated by all the staff I encountered like I was a VIP. When we picked up our grandkids and they needed a bed they brought up a rollaway. The next day they allowed us to change from a king suite to two queens. This did not affect my charges, and they even kept us on the same floor. When the power went out they explained the situation, and gave us a time when the power would be back on. I was impressed by their friendliness, and their professionalism.”

• This hotel has the most comfortable beds you will find anywhere.
• There's really nothing to dislike. No pool or hot tub maybe?

“This hotel met or exceeded all of the standards you would expect from a Hyatt hotel. Not to mention the fact that I have never slept on a more comfortable bed. I might call them up and try to find out where I can get one like it.”

• Very modern facilities, clean and new.
• Description said there was Internet access - There was, but it was not free. I had to sign up for a T-Mobile Hot Spot account for $10 per day.

“Very nice rooms, lobby and restaurant/bar area. Friendly and helpful staff. I was very disappointed that I had to pay $10 through T-Mobile for 24 hours of Internet access.”

• The new beds and pillows were the best part!
• Hotel restaurant was too expensive for the quality and type of the food.

“I am a flight attendant and therefore have stayed at many different hotels around the world. This one was definitely one of the better ones! The lobby and rooms were very welcoming and the Starbucks coffee bar was perfect for early mornings! The rooms were very fresh and clean and the beds were incredible!”

• Tram to other Hyatt to get within walking distance of subway.
• Beds are not as comfortable as I would have liked, no pool.

“I liked the hotel. We've stayed there before, so we were satisfied. It worked for my family of five and the staff was very accommodating.”

• I did not like the snobby guests. The hotel wasn't THAT nice.

“Nice hotel, up to date. Meets my expectations for Hyatt. Be wary of the bar, many drunken 40 somethings with very foul mouths. Also, almost looked like a swingers' bar. Got my food to go. The room was clean, the bathroom was clean, and I had a comfortable stay. The hotel is not really around anything though, so don't stay here if you are a sightseer.”

“While on a business trip to Texas, I was stranded in airports due to weather and had been traveling for over fifteen hours. I was exhausted. I was shuttled there from the airport, helped by friendly staff and was shortly in my room where I sunk into my bed for five hours of much needed sleep, a long hot shower in the morning, and I was shuttled back to the airport in time for my flight home.”

• Careless Front-desk, All facilities are charged.

“Good: Hyatt, Cleanliness, Transportation Facilities - Free shuttle to airport. Bad: Front-desk not careful - they forgot to take care of my extension of stay and allotted the room to somebody else. I had to struggle to get my things back, Expensive - Food, water, internet etc.”

• It provided free shuttle to and from the airport.
• Horrible, isolated location. Restaurant extremely overpriced!

“It you ever wanted to be a contestant on the TV show "Survivor" this would be a good test for you. The hotel is located amongst nothing. That would explain why the restaurant charges a hefty amount for sub-par food since you have no other option to eat there. The room was adequate, but not a typical standard for the Hyatt brand. And while we are the subject of brand; I think the staff here could use a training course on the Hyatt Hospitality. The front desk was cold if not abrupt and rude when I asked to extend my checkout the following morning. A simple no would have been nicer than the long-winded, 5-minute explanation of their policy and the Hyatt Gold Passport requirements to be able to have later checkouts. Next time I think about staying here, I'll send my application to CBS and see if they have room for me on Survivor Island instead.”

• Bed was not that comfortable since it would sink in.

“I give this hotel high mark for the convenient location and cleanliness. Also the staff was friendly and the fact that we did not have to pay for covered parking was refreshing. However, there were a few drawbacks. The room bed was not all that comfortable since the mattress would sink. This affected our sleep on a day when it was really needed. Also there was a really bad odor in the hallway when were first entering our room -- not really the kind of greeting you want to receive. But all in all, I would still say that our stay was a fairly good experience. I would recommend it to anyone provided they do not have extraordinarily high expectations.”

• The look of the hotel and cleanliness. Located very close to highway and O'Hare airport.
• Parking garage is next door and there is no connection to the hotel. Requiring a walk outside in the cold to get back to your room.

“Nice hotel, clean and decorated in contemporary style. Convenient location next to the highways and international airport. Pretty good restaurant, located with-in the hotel for business travelers. A pretty well appointed 24 hour health club, but no swimming pool. Big drawback is the parking, which is external to the hotel and there is not skywalk to allow easy access to the hotel. In the winter or at night, you will need to walk back to the main entrance.”

• Parking problems.

“The hotel was nice and clean did not help that police were there normally this would make you feel safer, but the fact they seemed to be investigating something did not help, also a 50 cent bottle of water was $3 no vending machines would not go back seemed to be a hot spot for some kind of activity.”

• It was very clean, and recently remodeled. Free parking!
• The toilet did not work. My husband had to fix it at 1:00 am.

• It was clean, convenient; they got me checked in quickly.
• Parking deck not attached to the hotel. It was cold walking from car to hotel.

• Easy access to O'Hare airport, attractive lobby, decent dining room.
• Overly trendy room furnishings and decor to hide the obvious age of the building.

“This is a functional, pleasant hotel that is especially convenient for the business traveler requiring quick access to Chicago O'Hare airport. The rooms are a bit old but the decor is contemporary, and the beds and linens are very comfortable. The service for dinner and breakfast in the dining area is very good.”

• Hotel shuttle.

“The hotel shuttle continues to be a problem. I waited over 30 minutes for pick up and that has been my experience every time I stay at this hotel. The staff is very friendly when calling to inquire where the shuttle is but the frequency of pick up is just too infrequent. Other hotels make multiple rounds before the Hyatt shuttle arrives. The shuttle then makes stops at the convention center Hyatt before going on the Rosemont. It takes way, way too long to get to the hotel room. Nice hotel but frustratingly long process to get to the hotel.”
