• I cannot say enough about this hotel! It was fantastic!
• A little hard to regulate the AC but no big deal. At least it worked.

“We had a beautiful courtyard room. I loved it. So difficult to afford anything luxurious these days but this came pretty close. It was very relaxing. Nice having the business center to use also. Staff was very friendly and helpful.”

• I enjoy Courtyards clean spacious rooms and consistency from property to property.
• There where not many TV channels.

• There was nothing outstanding about this hotel.
• The area was threatening and non-pedestrian friendly.

“If this location is convenient for your business in Chicago, this hotel is adequate. Do not count on assistance from the staff for dining recommendations. If you walk to one of the local eateries, between the lack of lighting and sidewalks, know you will be taking your life in your own hands. This hotel can barely manage the courtyard formula breakfast buffet. You are much better off opting for the I-hop which is five minutes away (or another breakfast specialty eatery) than trying to manage this overpriced, understaffed, badly managed breakfast option. Do not expect any end of day amenities either, no warm cookies in the lobby or chocolates on the pillows.”

• Coffee avail. in lobby and use of computers at no charge and no smoking!
• Little around the area for entertainment/shopping/dinning.

“Thankful of the no smoking for all of hotel but this hotel was difficult to enter into parking lot due to location. Room cleanup seemed to be done too quickly, beds were made but left covers off and didn't pick up pillows on the floor next to beds. Overall the room was just ok.”

• Rooms were very nice and the staff was wonderful.
• The beds were not as comfortable as I would have liked.

“The room was comfortable and the ambiance was very nice. The breakfast was incredible, but we did not know it was not complimentary until after we had finished eating. Still worth it, but we would have liked to know ahead of time. The pool was great for the kids, but the water was a little chilly. Overall, it was wonderful and we would be happy to stay there again.”

“When I checked in late at night they were replacing carpet in lobby. In morning it was finished and returned to normal. Very little disruption to guests.”

• They made a mistake and charge me again for the room and I have been trying for a week to get it off my credit card.

“I am going to go to the corporate office on this matter about charging me again on a room that I paid in advance for if it is not settle by Monday. I use motels all over the us.”

• The room was nice and had a window that opened, it was nice to get fresh air.
• The communication between staff was not always the best.

“The hotel was nice and clean. They did provide transportation to and from the conference center, but they did not communicate effectively. I was told the shuttle ran on Sat. and then Sat. morning they said it was not available. The staff, however, did get me to where I needed to be and they got me there on time.”

“I was surprised by the poor quality of the sheets and blankets. They were pretty close to threadbare and the blanket that came with was covered with pills. The TV is very old and we ordered a movie we could not watch because the reception was too poor. The front desk person was very polite and professional.”

• Great price, close to restaurants on route 21.
• The room was very cold; we had to sit in our coats for an hour.

“The hotel was good; I just wished that the hotel had longer hours for the pool. Checkout over the TV would have been nice too. The hotel was clean. The only thing we did not like about the hotel room was that the room was very cold. The room took about an hour and 15 minutes to warm up enough to not need coats.”

• Started cleaning room before we had checked out!

“The hotel met all the requirements of our stay except that they began cleaning our room prior to checkout and threw away the remaining items still in the room. The maid did not understand English which complicated the situation. The front desk was blase and unresponsive when told about this incident, basically said "oh well" and "sorry". An unfortunate ending to a great trip through Chicago.”

• Nice clean room. I like this brand because it has a balcony or courtyard area to sit outside.
• My cell phone would not get reception, and breakfast is too expensive.

• Friendly service in the restaurant, provided a refrigerator when asked.
• 2 out of 3 rooms we were in were unsatisfactory.

“The stay was for several days, and we had a family with children. The room was very cramped for two toddlers and two adults. The Air conditioning was very Cold, so it worked well. We asked for several extra towels which we received the first day but not after that. There was also construction going on while we were there (replacing the roof tiles) which meant we woke up at 6:30 am whether we wanted to or not. We expected cleaner rooms based on previous ratings, my toddler picked up a rash from something in the room, We think it was cleaning solution in the bath.”

• The people that work there are so friendly and funny.
• I didn't like that they didn't have any rooms available that I wanted.

• The hotel was very clean and quiet. Big well kept rooms with a nice view of the courtyard.
• The location is a little out of the way unless your visiting Glenview.

“The hotel is very nice with large well kept rooms and a quiet atmosphere. It is about 4 miles from the expressway. There are lots of stores and restaurants within a mile or two and also a big mall.”

• TheFront Desk Person, Eric, was extremely helpful several times, printing out directions to various locations. He also remembered me on a later stay.
• The rooms need updating: the decor, bedspreads. the Vanity area is too small for toiletries and the coffee pot. The gym needs additional equip.

“The convenience of the Glenview Courtyard is terrific, near some local and chain restaurants, as well as easy acess to the highway. The Staff is very courteous, helpful and friendly. The pool area is very clean as well as the room, in which I stayed. The entire stay was a very nice experience.”

• clean facilities, great amenities, friendly staff, comfortable, easy to find from I94.
• The sprinkler system waters the sidewalks instead of the lawns.

“Great hotel. If I'm ever in the Chicago area again, I hope that I'd be able to stay there again. I was surprised that considers this a 2.5 star hotel. The quality was much higher than I expected -- swimming pool, jacuzzi, internet access, great room amenities, very clean and classy. I was impressed.”

“Clean, comfortable room and lobby with a friendly and professional staff. The hotel sits on the corner of a busy intersection. Guests must make u-turns or turn around in adjacent lots to make left turns out of hotel parking lot. Overall this hotel was well worth the rate paid.”

• I liked how big the hotel room was and how cozy it felt.
• The only thing that i didn't like was that i had to leave!

• The location and cleanliness are the most important

“My husband and I come here once a month to work at the Temple close by. We love coming here because the location is great and we have always found the rooms clean.”
