• Very nice staff, comfortable room at a good price.

“Nice hotel for a modest price. We were not disappointed in our selection. Close to where we wanted to be. The room was more than adequate as we were only spending the one night. Restaurants were close by, the breakfast bar was nice. Staff was very nice.”

• The carpet and bathroom was clean.
• Bed had old fashioned mattress pad, it was wrinkled under the sheet, we fought it all night it was worn out. Curtains tears in them.

“Owners just getting by with what they have even though some things need replacing. It was clean in the room, clean bathroom. Hallway was a long walk to room from elevator. Parking lot had big holes in entry drive. Overpriced for what it was.”

• Construction happening outside of hotel on street.

• Staff was attentive to our needs. They exceeded all expectations. Room was immaculate.
• Need more cable channels for entertainment?

“Overall the staff was great we appreciated the continental breakfast. It stayed open for a good portion of the morning and if supplies were need for the evening retreat to the rooms. They let u get them without any objections. Rooms were clean and beds and pillows were comfortable. We will book again next time we are in Chicago.”

• the staff was very friendly and extremely helpful with suggestions. The continental breakfast was excellent. Our stay was enjoyable.
• The location off the busy road.

“The rooms were clean. The staff was very helpful in getting about the city and to Chicago. The continental breakfast had a variety of food. We felt comfortable during our stay there.”

• Simple and convenient. Basic amenities w/out frills.
• Interstate traffic noise. Hotel is adjacent to interstate and I my room was on the side facing the interstate.

“A clean, basic hotel in a safe location with restaurants within walking distance. Although, we would have preferred refrigerators in the rooms. My wife and I stayed in the hotel for three days and ate lunch and dinner out every day. We would have preferred bringing our left over restaurant food back to the room at least once, instead of leaving them on our plates.”

• Honestly, nothing.
• Loud.

“Honestly I did not like this hotel at all. It looks almost nothing like its picture and the location was pretty bad. The town itself I do not recommend anyone to stay in. Only one staff member was friendly and the cleaning staff would SIT in the halls folding towels. The lobby door was very loud almost like nails on a chalkboard. They put me in a room right next to the interstate and the hotels pool. Poor hotel. Save your money and stay elsewhere.”

• Very clean, amazing staff, and quality breakfast
• Not close enough to Highway 90/94.

“I am a clean freak and this is by far the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at. There was not a comforter on the bed which was very sanitary. Instead they used a "top" sheet and runner at the foot of the bed. Excellent staff that gave directions into Chicago several times. Good selection at breakfast.”

• All members of the staff went way out of their way to be helpful.
• Did not have a safe in each room.

“The staff were unusually helpful and courteous, and the high speed wireless Internet was truly high speed - it flew. Also having so many restaurants within short walking distance was very nice.”

• Breakfast.
• There was some kind of alarm that went off several times during the night. The neighborhood was scary. We wanted double beds but they were not available.

“I would not have stayed there. We were awakened in the middle of the night more than once by something that sounded like a fire alarm. We found out later it was something on our phone. Some kind of a wake up call which we never set up. I was very unhappy.”
