• The staff and shuttle drivers were very helpful.
• We ordered 2 beds for my son and I but were sent to a king bed. They upgraded us to a suite. We were existed and were glad.

• My room rate was great.
• TV was difficult to Navigate.

“This was an excellent. Parking was free, there was a fridge in the room, and the bed was great! Free shuttle to/from the airport and they discounted my room for some reason unknown to me. A great place to stay overall.”

• It was farther from the city than we expected.

“The room was a lot nicer than we expected! It was beautiful and very clean! The hotel staff was extremely helpful with directions and transportation questions. The bar in Harry Caray's was really nice - and again, had a very nice and helpful bartender. We were very impressed with our stay!”

• Close to airport with free fly and park parking. Great restaurant.
• The noise from planes taking off could be problem sensitive ears.

“I found the hotel to be very convenient for O'Hare airport travel. Being able to park and fly was great. The Harry Carey restaurant was a great place to eat, if you're on an expense account, otherwise it's kind of expensive. There's also a Chili's close by and a MacDonald for the kids. Target store is 3 blocks away for shopping. Cold stone Ice Cream is just behind Chili's.”

• It was more than I was expecting. The room was spacious and comfortable.

“Overall, I was shocked when I walked into the room, in a very good way. The staff was helpful for twenty-four hours, the room was larger than I expected, extremely modern, and such a good price! If I go to Chicago again, I would stay here.”

• Hotel offered rooms with separate sitting area with mini-fridge and microwave.
• Traffic to get from this hotel downtown was ridiculous during the day, after 9pm it was more manageable

“Overall this hotel is cool for the price. The separate sitting area with the mini-fridge and microwave are definitely a plus. Just be prepared for a 35-40 minute ride to downtown Chicago.”

• The room was excellent and quiet.
• Hotel was hard to find due to lack of sign from road.

“Recognizing the hotel was remodeling, there were minor problems for the customers. One of these was freshly painted elevators walls which you didn't discover until you turned around to select your floor. By then it was too late and people were crowded into the elevator. Hotel staff was excellent and friendly and helpful. The rooms were fresh and smelling nice, even the smoking rooms. The rooms were very quiet even though they are next to the airport runway. The only reason for not giving you a higher rating is because of the remodeling and the problem of finding the hotel.”

“The set up of the room with two double beds was excellent. It was like having two different rooms. It was convenient to the downtown area as well as the suburbs. I would stay again. The only negative was staff, not friendly at all!”

• Upscale version of the very ordinary Holiday Inn experience.
• Too far from downtown Chicago although taking the rail line was easy.

• The shuttle was harder to catch at the airport than I expected.

“Fantastic hotel for the money. Staff was very professional and friendly, the room was divided into 2 for each bed to allow for nice privacy. Conveniently located near O'Hare, the train, and the freeway. Plenty of parking, in what felt like a safe area. A little further from downtown than I would have liked, but still well worth the money. I'd definitely recommend it to friends.”

• I did not stay at this hotel because it was not within the area that I wanted!
• If you would go to your records and evaluate where I have stayed at any time you will see that it is NOT NEAR the air port.

“I'm sure that the holiday inn is a very nice hotel, however when my wife and I drive in to the city from buffalo grove, IL. we stay in the Michigan ave. area because we go to nightclubs DOWNTOWN, not near O'Hare airport which is less than twenty minutes from our home. The reason for this is some do not have to drive home at 5a.m. on Sunday morning after a night of drinking.”

• The guy at the counter checking in thought my last name was funny and made a crack about it which I think was unprofessional for him.

• Very convenient & nice extras like a microwave in the room.
• The hotel restaurant was too expensive.

“We stayed at this hotel because we were catching an early flight the next morning. The room was large, clean with a coffee pot & microwave which was wonderful. We could use the parking building for less than the airport parking. The shuttle was on time. it was all good. We used this hotel again on the return trip.”

• No breakfast except in expensive restaurant/ no pool/good view of planes coming in but balcony would have made it even better.

“Great hotel. Writing a rental car review, since I'm sure they won't send a survey. They know I'm unhappy. I somehow put down the wrong dates. Called immediately and was told that I would be charged a change fee equal to one day. That is ridiculous. Will tell all my friends about this. I think that if you want to change your reservation dates within a few minutes, you should be able to.”

• The size of the room, quality of furnishings, location, very modern and clean.
• We always do a park and stay before leaving the country. On our return we have poor help from the front desk receptionist. She was rude.

“We both thought the hotel was beautiful and a great value for the money. Our only complaint is the poor customer service shown us at the front desk. We phoned from the airport because we were not sure where to catch the shuttle to return to the hotel. The front desk receptionist was very rude and condescending”

• The hot tub/Jacuzzi was out of order during our stay.

• The staff, and of course the accommodations were wonderful. Everyone was super supportive.
• The hotel was great.

• It was attached to Harry Carey's Restaurant, it had a hot tub and fitness center and a kitchenette in my room.
• There was a big stain on my bathroom wall.

“It had a very appealing look to it (the design, the Harey Carey lounge in/outside). I absolutely loved the fact that there was a microwave,fridge & separate sink in the room. The room looked and smelled VERY clean, and of course it was.”

• The rooms were larger than we expected. We received a 2 room suite, refrigerator and microwave. Wow.
• They charged my credit card for one night stay, although I prepaid. They credited the account, but this was an inconvenience on my checking account.

“Overall stay was wonderful. Breakfast needs to be served longer than 10:30 a.m. on a Sunday morning. Many people sleep late on Sunday.”
