• Awesome view of the airport. Free wireless internet. Fridge, microwave. Clean & comfortable. Smoking room available.
• Shampoo was below standard. No freezer in the refrigerator unit.

“I have not stayed in a Holiday Inn in years because of previous experiences. This one was awesome. Great service, wonderful view of O'Hara Airport without the noise. Nice clean two room suite provided plenty of room at a very reasonable price. Also provided free Wireless internet which is hard to find in this part of the state. Desk and office chair was an added bonus. Smoking rooms were available - which again is getting harder and harder to find. I hope to stay here again.”

• It was clean and the shuttle bus service was satisfactory.

“It was so nice and clean. The shuttle bus service was convenient to use. As the Subway operates 24 hours in Chicago, we can just go to the airport to get the shuttle bus and then go back to our hotel. It takes just 5 to 8 minutes from the airport to the hotel.”

• Very attractive and well-appointed room; nice beds.
• Air-conditioning didn't take the humidity out of the air; just cooled.

“I loved the comfortable bed; wished I couldve stayed in it longer. I kept waking up feeling either cold or sweaty though because the humidity in the room was still pretty high. I noticed the chair in the room was pretty dirty, and either the fan in the bathroom didn't work, or else it was so quiet I couldn't hear it. I loved watching the planes take off and land at O'Hare. The room was lovely. Nice bed, beautiful curtains, nice marble-looking counters, and nice carpeting. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Overall a pretty nice hotel; just needs a few maintenance fixes.”

“The location was perfect for us, near O'Hare. There are plenty of great restaurants around the hotel. It is a very nice place to stay, very comfortable and the staff was very helpful. Great quality for the money. Good price, too!”

• Seems ran by teenagers at night.

“I have no problem recommending this hotel. It is an excellent in between if you have to make it to O'Hare. The shuttle driver walked around with an extended one dollar bill in his hand. It is sad, I was prepared to tip him until I saw his insistence. Gratuity is gracious, not pressured. That being said, it is an excellent service and if no one is trying to bully you, be sure to tip the driver.”

• Room arrangement quite amiable to separate sleeping quarters.
• My sister's room had no glass plate in microwave so our popcorn burned and smelled up the room.

“Nice location to airport and drivers seeking to find it on the highway. Had no trouble getting into the city from hotel and vice versa. Really impressed with the room layout for 1 and 2 adults in the queen and king groupings. I would certainly stay in your hotel or other Holiday Inn Selects again.”

“From the moment we checked in, we were impressed and pleased with this hotel. We will stay there again, anytime we are in Chicago. It far surpassed our expectations, and the bed was incredibly comfortable.”

• The beds and rooms were really spacious and comfortable. The shuttle service was amazing.
• The coffee made me sick.

“This hotel has got to be one of the best I have had in a while. The prices were very affordable and the rooms were quite big and almost like a suite. The room was always clean even though I never saw the room service and the best of all was the shuttle service that stops at the airport. We wouldnt have been able to enjoy any of Chicago without the shuttle that runs 24 hours.”

• I like the free wireless and microwave. It's convenient.
• The rest room is a little small.

“Overall for this hotel is just fine. Location is ok but a little far from downtown. It took at least 1 hour to the loop. Hope after upgrading the blue line, the consuming time will be short. Free wireless internet is the best thing that I like. One of the shuttle driver is not friendly to non American people.”

• The suite was beautiful and away from downtown, so we rarely hit bad traffic.
• I'm shorter, so some of the things were a little high for me, but perfect for my companion.

“The Holiday Inn select in Rosemont is a great hotel! This was the second time we stayed there, and both times have been absolutely perfect. We intend to stay if we are in that area again, because it is in a good part of town, and avoids the turmoil of downtown.”

• We ordered 2 beds for my son and I but were sent to a king bed. They upgraded us to a suite. We were existed and were glad.

“This was an excellent. Parking was free, there was a fridge in the room, and the bed was great! Free shuttle to/from the airport and they discounted my room for some reason unknown to me. A great place to stay overall.”

• The noise from planes taking off could be problem sensitive ears.

“I found the hotel to be very convenient for O'Hare airport travel. Being able to park and fly was great. The Harry Carey restaurant was a great place to eat, if you're on an expense account, otherwise it's kind of expensive. There's also a Chili's close by and a MacDonald for the kids. Target store is 3 blocks away for shopping. Cold stone Ice Cream is just behind Chili's.”

• Hotel offered rooms with separate sitting area with mini-fridge and microwave.
• Traffic to get from this hotel downtown was ridiculous during the day, after 9pm it was more manageable

“Overall this hotel is cool for the price. The separate sitting area with the mini-fridge and microwave are definitely a plus. Just be prepared for a 35-40 minute ride to downtown Chicago.”

• Hotel was hard to find due to lack of sign from road.

“Recognizing the hotel was remodeling, there were minor problems for the customers. One of these was freshly painted elevators walls which you didn't discover until you turned around to select your floor. By then it was too late and people were crowded into the elevator. Hotel staff was excellent and friendly and helpful. The rooms were fresh and smelling nice, even the smoking rooms. The rooms were very quiet even though they are next to the airport runway. The only reason for not giving you a higher rating is because of the remodeling and the problem of finding the hotel.”

• The shuttle was harder to catch at the airport than I expected.

“Fantastic hotel for the money. Staff was very professional and friendly, the room was divided into 2 for each bed to allow for nice privacy. Conveniently located near O'Hare, the train, and the freeway. Plenty of parking, in what felt like a safe area. A little further from downtown than I would have liked, but still well worth the money. I'd definitely recommend it to friends.”

• I did not stay at this hotel because it was not within the area that I wanted!
• If you would go to your records and evaluate where I have stayed at any time you will see that it is NOT NEAR the air port.

“I'm sure that the holiday inn is a very nice hotel, however when my wife and I drive in to the city from buffalo grove, IL. we stay in the Michigan ave. area because we go to nightclubs DOWNTOWN, not near O'Hare airport which is less than twenty minutes from our home. The reason for this is some do not have to drive home at 5a.m. on Sunday morning after a night of drinking.”

• The guy at the counter checking in thought my last name was funny and made a crack about it which I think was unprofessional for him.

• Very convenient & nice extras like a microwave in the room.
• The hotel restaurant was too expensive.

“We stayed at this hotel because we were catching an early flight the next morning. The room was large, clean with a coffee pot & microwave which was wonderful. We could use the parking building for less than the airport parking. The shuttle was on time. it was all good. We used this hotel again on the return trip.”

“Great hotel. Writing a rental car review, since I'm sure they won't send a survey. They know I'm unhappy. I somehow put down the wrong dates. Called immediately and was told that I would be charged a change fee equal to one day. That is ridiculous. Will tell all my friends about this. I think that if you want to change your reservation dates within a few minutes, you should be able to.”

• The size of the room, quality of furnishings, location, very modern and clean.
• We always do a park and stay before leaving the country. On our return we have poor help from the front desk receptionist. She was rude.

“We both thought the hotel was beautiful and a great value for the money. Our only complaint is the poor customer service shown us at the front desk. We phoned from the airport because we were not sure where to catch the shuttle to return to the hotel. The front desk receptionist was very rude and condescending”

• The hot tub/Jacuzzi was out of order during our stay.

“The hotel was very nice. Harry Carey's restaurant was great. We were very disappointed that the Jacuzzi was out of order during our stay, as that was one of our primary requests.”

• The bed was terrible - I didn't get any rest - the floor in the airport would have been better.
