• Super-comfortable bed.
• Fee for internet use.

“What a lovely hotel! Even though it's close to the 295 freeway, it feels off the beaten path and is very quiet. The two-room king suite was beautifully furnished, spacious, and comfortable. You can enter the bathroom from the sitting room or the bedroom. Nice flat-screen TV in the comfy sitting room. There's no concierge, but the desk staff was extremely helpful with directions and suggestions for activities in downtown Chicago.”

“The hotel was very nice and room was beautiful. However, the room had been used as a smoking chamber and didn't fair well with my allergies and asthma. I know from past experience it's not always possible to be 100% sure that there hasn't been someone smoking. At the W Times Square they brought a machine into my room which filtered the air in the room and that proved to be very helpful. The Marriott said they would spray my room for our second night but again I awoke in the night with swollen, itchy, watery eyes and trouble breathing. So I'm not too sure if they tried to reduce the allergen in the room or what method they use but there was no difference from first to second night. We had orientation at college for our daughters first year of school and I suffered with swollen eyes and a cough for most of day.”

“All suite hotel. Nice location off main roads in Deerfield/Riverwoods area. Plasma-HD TV and regular TV in suite. Refrigerator in room. Bar area. No in-room safe. Hi speed internet available very clean. Good restaurant. Great for business travelers, but acceptable for leisure/families. Easy access to major highways.”

“From the moment I walked in I was treated with great service. The room was immaculate and clean, it was very roomy and was comfortable. I enjoyed my stay and any time I am in Chicago I will be staying at this hotel again. No questions asked. There is everything you need within a 5 minute drive.”

• The location was perfect for me. Close to my family I was visiting.
• Could have been cleaner, no sugar or cream for the coffee in the room.

“A great place to say on the far north side of Chicago. It is hidden in a Business Park, but still easy to find, but made it a very quiet location on the weakened. I was not disappointed.”

• I loved the spacious room and the location.
• The curtains between the living room and bedroom need to be thicker for privacy.

“The hotel is very clean and well kept. The hotel rooms are spacious and allowed us to have breakfast in our room before heading out for the day. The bathroom was huge! There was a tub, separate shower, separate vanity area, and plenty of extra space. The bed was wonderful! We didn't want to leave!”

• They were very accommodating when I requested a room away from children.
• The computer in their business center was a bit slow.

“I was very happy with my stay in this hotel. I felt it was in a very safe area. I was very pleased that they did not allow smoking. My fiance is a stickler about cleanliness and he made the comment that he felt good sleeping in the bed. (That is rare). The only bit of non-cleanliness I saw was some dust behind the television. Everything else looked wonderful. It even smelled clean, (which means no odors). I've worked in hotel previously and the thing that I mostly appreciate was the cleanliness of the carpets. That can be a difficult maintenance and I thought they did an awesome job! I would definitely stay at this hotel again.”

• Super comfortable beds! Very clean.
• The pool was closed due to repair. Was not disclosed to us. Also the drive was under repair. Parking was not as easy.

• Totally corporate, other restaurants 10 minutes away.

“Great location to everything. Next to expressway and about 10 to 15 minute drive to shopping and restaurants. Rooms are spacious and 2 room suites. Comes with refrigerator and micro. Great pool area. Internet could be better. They charge 10. Per day or you can use the business center for free.”

• They charge extra for high-speed Internet, something that is free at less costly hotels.

“Clean, upscale hotel with large suites will appeal to the business traveler as well as to families. Suite included two televisions, desk, couch and chairs, wet bar, separate tub and shower. Location in an office park near I-94 is practical if not particularly romantic. Pool and fitness facilities were nice and well-equipped.”

• 3 people in the room & only 3 towels. You know women, we need at least 2 for each shower. Left a note for housekeeping to leave more & only got 1.

“Classy facility. Helpful staff. Room neat and clean. Enjoyed the stay! The flat screen TV was an added bonus, as well as the internet connection. Plan to go to Chicago again to visit our son and plan to stay there.”

• Went to every floor to find ice and none could be found!

“When I called two days prior to our visit to make sure that it was okay to bring our seven year old son along they failed to mention that their pool was being totally retiled and couldn't be used. For those of you with kids, they live for pools and my son in particular. Our first disappointment. On night two I went to fill the ice bucket and they had the ice machines turned off on five of the seven floors and they weren't working on the other two. I went down to the front desk and they told me to go to the bar and have it filled. Nothing was done to compensate either of these things.”

• The overall decor of the Hotel` Classy.
• There weren't any restaurants in walking distance of hotel.

“The hotel was very pleasant and nice looking. The room was beautifully decorated. The husband and kids really enjoyed the flat screen TV and the indoor $ outdoor swimming pool. The hotel is a wonderful place to conduct business, or a romantic getaway. I didn't notice any other families. The only knock on the hotel is that it didn't have any restaurants, other than the one in the hotel in walking distance or any attraction for that matter. Overall, Deerfield seems to be a nice suburb in Chicago and the Deerfield Marriott Suites was wonderful!”

“Overall nice stay. I disliked how understaffed the hotel was when I got there. At 6:30pm there was only one person at the front desk and it took me fifteen minutes to check in while he was on the phone with other guests the entire time. Otherwise very nice hotel for only 3 stars.”

“Our stay was wonderful. The staff was friendly, the room was beautiful, and the area was quiet and peaceful. This was the first time I had used and would definitely recommend it and will be using it again in the future. The hotel was very clean and was in the process of making even more improvements: new restaurant and work out area. We loved the hotel.”
