• High priced wi-fi in room - $18 to park

“Hotel interior is dated, restaurant overpriced - $14.50 for a hamburger. Bathroom sink did not drain. Not particularly comfortable couch or chair in living room. $3 for a bottle of "courtesy water in room".”

• Everything was very attractive and the staff was generally very helpful.
• The food was mediocre but overpriced, the bed was hard as a rock, and the pillows were squishy.

“This was one of those hotels where the actual experience didn't reflect the glossy appearance of the hotel. Staff was nice, helpful, and everything was quite lovely. But the food was very overpriced whereas the quality was mediocre at best. The bed was lovely to look at but was the most uncomfortable one I've slept in, perhaps ever. The computer access was problematic, things did not print correctly (but thankfully, the staff helped by taking it into their office and printing it for me). I will say, though, that it was very quiet, which was very important for this trip.”

• Very comfortable rooms. The hotel will be smoke free in December, which is a great thing.
• Breakfast buffet was too pricey. $51 for three people.

“Very courteous staff. Changed my room quickly when the smoking room that I got was still very smoky. Airport shuttle was quick and comfortable, but could have run more often during the weekend.”

“I was very pleased with my stay at this Sheraton. The staff was very nice. I attended an event at the nearby Allstate Arena and the hotel was close enough that I could walk and avoid the hefty parking fee at Allstate. This was especially nice, since I already had to pay for parking at the hotel.”

• Modern decor, friendly staff, free shuttle to airport, two flat screen TVs in suite, eco-friendly light bulbs, Starbucks coffee in room to brew, comfy.
• Toiletries provided were cheap, hole in wall where someone had pulled phone jack out, no thermostat in room.

• The rooms are suites, very large with a separate bedroom.

“This was a great location close to O'Hare Airport, with a free shuttle from the airport. The rooms in this hotel are suites, a front living room area with a desk and sleeper sofa. Flat screen TV's in both the living room area and the bedroom.”

• The staff rocked. They were also very friendly.
• Pricey breakfast buffet.

“Conveniently located near O'Hare. There is an airport shuttle every 20 minutes. The hotel staff here, including custodians and shuttle bus driver, were beyond friendly and professional. It was refreshing.”

• The suite room allowed us to close an internal door to close out the noise from the other room.
• The people in the room next to us were very loud.

• I loved the room it was tastefully decorated and comfortable and very clean.
• I wish they would have had free parking.

“We really liked this hotel. The people were friendly and when we needed an extra blanket and towels they came right away. The room was open and spacious. Even though we only stayed one night it would have been great to have stayed for a few days. The open area in the middle gave it an elegant feel and although we did not eat there it looked great.”

• Lots of great pillows on bed, 2 TVs, suite style set up.
• Very small bathroom, not as nice and updated as the rest of the room.

“Great for a short stay if you are going on to travel from the near by airport, park and fly with free shuttle service is great, very friendly and helpful staff, rooms were comfortable, bedding was excellent, several other hotels around, so, restaurant choices were fair. Overall, excellent. Would definitely recommend to anyone who was going to be traveling through the airport, and needed a short stay before or after air travel.”

• Parking was the same price as the economy lot at OHare. $12 a night.

“The rooms are a suite style room with new LCD TV's. A variety of food venues within a short drive if you don't want to eat at the hotel restaurant. This is the nicest hotel near the airport that I have stayed in yet.”

• I liked everything about this hotel.

“This hotel was excellent and super clean. The staff was excellently trained and the suites were fantastic. We had two rooms and each had two flat screen lcd TVs, coffee maker, sleeper sofa, and was very clean and comfortable. I will stay here again and recommend it to anyone needing a hotel near O'Hare airport.”

• Late night screaming and running the halls by drunks.

“A rowdy group was screaming and running in the halls at 1230 am. when I called the front desk the person on duty said she would call engineering which is did not understand. the second time I called around 1am I told her if she didn't call security I would call the police. she said she would handle it and about 30 minutes later it finally quieted down. I finally got to sleep in time to get up at 400am.i didn't spend much other time in the room or hotel but it looked nice and the suite was good since I couldn't sleep.”

• I loved the separate sitting area and beautiful lobby.
• Decor in suite just a bit low budget.

“Overall the hotel was very pleasant. The staff was very warm and friendly, and the rooms were spacious and well appointed. The bed and pillows were heavenly. The only drawback was the restaurant was closed for dinner the night that we arrived so we had to order in pizza.”

“The Sheraton gateway sets are convenient to hare airport and a shuttle ride is able from the bus station at hare at door 3. It operates every 20 minutes. The rooms aren't luxurious, but are tasteful, most especially the bedroom. The plasma TV in the living room and bedroom is a nice plus. The Sheraton gateway sets prepared me a 0 balance receipt to more easily check out. I gave my key to the front desk and figured I was set to go. Later, I found out that Sheraton over charged me on incidental expenses that I did not use. Now I am waiting for a refund. Make sure you get a final print out of your folio when you check out and closely examine it.”
