• Clean and comfort for the price.
• Only outdoor pool.

“Comfort and clean rooms. Beds have variety by changing its softness with button. Compact space. We 9 family members with 3 rooms were satisfied with its comforters.”

• Nice rooms.
• Walls were paper thin.

“Hotel was nice inside, easy to get to and clean. Only problem was walls were paper thin, could hear people brushing their teeth and chatting at 3am.”

• It was good to have a non-smoking room with a balcony where I could smoke.
• Breakfast was good; atmosphere kind of like a college cafeteria.

“Overall I thought we got great quality for the price. We were able to use the pool and though I am a smoker, I don't like to stay in smoking rooms because they usually smell. In this case the room had a balcony where I could indulge my habit and still sleep in a nice clean room.”

• Layout of hotel, long walk to rooms.

“Decent place to stay, nice beds, location, shopping/food close by. Free parking & internet was a plus. Seems to cater to more of a blue collar crowd, but for the price, it is a good value. House keeping and front desk staff was great!”

“For what we needed, a place to stay, it was very good. There were restaurants close by, we could not eat at the breakfast at the hotel very pricy. They did have a pool which we did not take advantage of, but that was the only other thing they had there. No other activities for families with children. For us, perfect.”

• The day staff was very nice and friendly and the lobby space was clean and comfortable. The shuttle service to the airport was helpful.
• The drivers of the shuttle service were angry, people and the night staff wasn't so friendly.

“We stayed in this hotel as it was close to the airport and to a seminar that one of us had to go to. The convenience was nice and the shuttle service was very helpful and easy to use. I had to wait in the hotel all day until my boy friend's seminar was over and the lobby was comfortable to wait in and the staff was very kind. There is also a Longhorn Steak House right next door which is convenient to get a bite to eat. The room was large and extremely comfortable.”

“Like all area hotels it is easy to catch the shuttle and go to your hotel. Closest train station is located at the O'Hare and you can take hotel shuttle to go there. Free parking is a plus. Hotel quality and facilities are poor.”

“This hotel is perfect for a trip where an airport, shopping mall, restaurants and a pool might be desired. The hotel is close to the Convention Center and transportation into Chicago.”

• One of the smallest and worst bathrooms ever!

“This facility, other than its great staff, had little to recommend. The hotel, which was a takeover from a lower level hotel some years earlier, had lower quality furniture, a smallish TV. and a terrible bathroom. I prefer to leave the bathroom door open while I shower but the door had to be closed to get out of the shower.”

“The manager, front desk employees and shuttle driver far exceeded my expectations in friendliness and customer service. The room was exceptionally clean. The rooms; however, are not real sound proof.”

• Hassle free check-in & check-out; willingness to accommodate request for early check-in ; provided iron/ironing board, though I came with one.
• No refrigerator to cool drinks for the kids; no microwave to warm baby food.

“My wife and I fell in love with Radisson hotel, the moment we entered their premises even before entering our room. The environment and setup standard far exceeded our expectation. Having stayed in different hotels in various states, we have seen it all. However, the inconvenience of driving 3 miles to a friend's room at Crown Plaza which has microwave/refrigerator so that my son can have his breakfast was not fun. So it will be nice if the hotel management can offer such necessities or at least make the option available and known to their guests at check-in.”

• Lack of bathroom exhaust fan, and no fridge in room.

“A very nice hotel fairly close to O'Hare airport. The hotel was very clean and the staff was friendly. Unfortunately, it seemed that our room didn't get on the cleaning schedule one of the days until very late (after we had returned to the room for the evening); so it was skipped. Not a huge issue, considering that the room was so clean to begin with. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay and would definitely return to the Radisson O'Hare to stay if it were an option.”

• I liked the way the employees made things quick and easy.
• I did not like how one side of our sleep number did not work.

“Clean, Comfortable, Convenient, what more could you ask as a business traveler. Internet access was easy and affordable and walked to dinner in the evenings. It may be near the airport and along the flight path, but NEVER heard a plane! Would stay there again and recommend anyone flying into Chicago to do the same.”

• Good bed (I have Sleep at home) and shuttle bus.
• No real complaints.

“I know this area from previous travels. While I hoped to stay downtown, the 24 hour shuttle bus service was a real bonus and I knew how close the hotel was to the O'Hare stop. Also, it would have been difficult to find parking for my full size Suburban downtown. All in all, it was better to stay in DP and park the truck by the hotel front door and take the CTA/shuttle combo. You may want to promote the 24 hrs airport/ CTA combo more. Also the drivers should ask passengers where they are going when we depart the hotel. That way they can drive/direct them to the best terminal drop at O'Hare to catch the CTA. Our driver didn't do that and save another passenger's suggestion. I would have had a long walk.”

• Good location, great rooms, great service, great price, excellent in every way.
• The parking lot outside could be spruced up.

“I liked this hotel, convenient location, it has nice comfortable well furnished rooms, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was quiet (good sound insulation), no extra parking fees, very enjoyable experience overall. I really had to work hard to come up with a negative comment, which was that the parking lot around the hotel could use some better landscaping and screening from the thoroughfares surrounding the hotel.”

“Pros: This was a nice hotel, definitely appropriate for 3 star rating. Rooms were very clean. Bed was a Select Comfort adjustable bed and was very comfortable. Free shuttle to airport and CTA trains to the city made this hotel a wise and economical alternative to staying in Chicago proper. Bathroom was a little cramped. Hotel staff seemed aloof and disinterested. We had to walk all the way back down to the lobby where we were received with no care or concern for our trouble.”

• Facility was run down, felt unclean and unsafe, staff not friendly.

“The room itself was okay, and the bathroom had been recently redone, but was still very small. The hotel overall was run-down, shabby, and had the feel of a 1 star hotel. The people hanging around made me nervous, the staff were not particularly friendly, and the security guard came into the 24hr gym to turn the volume on the television off because it was disturbing the room next door. If you're going to have a 24 hour gym and are concerned about noise, don't book guests in the room next door! Gym was small and cramped, too. Not at all what I'd expect from a 3 star hotel.”

“Good overall value. Only downside is the very tiny bathroom and the slightly dreary lobby and hallways. But the room is a good size, very quite (even by the airport) and very comfy. Would stay here again.”

• No safety box in room.

“We checked in rather late (11 pm ) to the hotel and hence did not use it's dinner service. We are overall happy with the location, room size and shuttle service this hotel provides. For a 3 stars hotel close to the airport, this is reasonably good. The only thing need to improve is the lack of safety box provided in room.”

• The decor of the room was very pleasant.
• They did not include breakfast in the room rate.

“The hotel was comfortable and met my needs for an overnight stay. The front desk staff was very good. I had to change rooms because the elevator was right across the hall and it was noisy. They were very accommodating about the change. They did give me incorrect directions for getting onto I-90 and that caused me quite a bit of inconvenience. It could only be entered going east from where they told me and I needed to go west. Staff should be very familiar with interstates close by.”

“The Radisson was a very clean and friendly hotel that provided wonderful meals with in house cafe and close by associated Longhorn restaurant. A most pleasurable stay where all my needs were met without even asking. I highly recommend it.”
