• Good location, great rooms, great service, great price, excellent in every way.
• The parking lot outside could be spruced up.

“I liked this hotel, convenient location, it has nice comfortable well furnished rooms, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was quiet (good sound insulation), no extra parking fees, very enjoyable experience overall. I really had to work hard to come up with a negative comment, which was that the parking lot around the hotel could use some better landscaping and screening from the thoroughfares surrounding the hotel.”

“Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, with the housekeeping staff working around our travel schedule. We did not use the restaurants at this hotel. Very close to airport and park and ride. Fitness room could use updating and the pool was outside.”

• It was so far away from the city- long commute.

“The hotel was great! Loved the bed and the cotton sheets. It was very clean and the maid service was wonderful. Really enjoyed everything about our stay. Would have liked it if they would have had an indoor Jacuzzi.”

• The receptionist on dayshift is very eager to help the guests. I thank her very much.
• Long hallways, only one elevator.

• Sofa bed not made, staff aloof, bathroom cramped.

“Pros: This was a nice hotel, definitely appropriate for 3 star rating. Rooms were very clean. Bed was a Select Comfort adjustable bed and was very comfortable. Free shuttle to airport and CTA trains to the city made this hotel a wise and economical alternative to staying in Chicago proper. Bathroom was a little cramped. Hotel staff seemed aloof and disinterested. We had to walk all the way back down to the lobby where we were received with no care or concern for our trouble.”

• The bathroom had been updated recently.
• Facility was run down, felt unclean and unsafe, staff not friendly.

“The room itself was okay, and the bathroom had been recently redone, but was still very small. The hotel overall was run-down, shabby, and had the feel of a 1 star hotel. The people hanging around made me nervous, the staff were not particularly friendly, and the security guard came into the 24hr gym to turn the volume on the television off because it was disturbing the room next door. If you're going to have a 24 hour gym and are concerned about noise, don't book guests in the room next door! Gym was small and cramped, too. Not at all what I'd expect from a 3 star hotel.”

• Good sized modern very quiet room, good value.
• The bathroom is very small.

“Good overall value. Only downside is the very tiny bathroom and the slightly dreary lobby and hallways. But the room is a good size, very quite (even by the airport) and very comfy. Would stay here again.”

• Large room, 24 hours shuttle to airport.
• No safety box in room.

“We checked in rather late (11 pm ) to the hotel and hence did not use it's dinner service. We are overall happy with the location, room size and shuttle service this hotel provides. For a 3 stars hotel close to the airport, this is reasonably good. The only thing need to improve is the lack of safety box provided in room.”

• The decor of the room was very pleasant.
• They did not include breakfast in the room rate.

“The hotel was comfortable and met my needs for an overnight stay. The front desk staff was very good. I had to change rooms because the elevator was right across the hall and it was noisy. They were very accommodating about the change. They did give me incorrect directions for getting onto I-90 and that caused me quite a bit of inconvenience. It could only be entered going east from where they told me and I needed to go west. Staff should be very familiar with interstates close by.”

“The Radisson was a very clean and friendly hotel that provided wonderful meals with in house cafe and close by associated Longhorn restaurant. A most pleasurable stay where all my needs were met without even asking. I highly recommend it.”

• Great staff, nice and knowledgeable, also let us check in early.
• Dirty, run down, needs renovation, the sleep number beds are horrible, the hallways smelled bad in parts.

“Stay away. I have stayed at the Radisson in Northbrook, IL and it was great, but not the O'Hare Radisson. The hallways were dirty, the inside of the hotel was really run down, and the hallways and elevators smelled bad. The only plus side to the hotel was the nice staff. I would give this hotel a maximum of a 2 star rating and that's being generous. If it undergoes a complete renovation and cleans better, it may be up to a 3 star hotel.”

• Location convenience to conference center. Friendly and helpful housekeeping.
• Hotel did not enforce the no smoking law. Hallways stunk like cigarette smoke. Front desk staff unfriendly or neutral.

“This hotel poorly handled my visit, as I was accompanied by a service dog. Although IL State Law permits service dogs to stay at all hotels, the hotel asked us to leave and stay elsewhere despite my presentation of the dog's credentials and a copy of the IL State Law. I was forced to call the police in order to have the law upheld and to continue my stay. I never received an apology from the hotel despite the great inconvenience I was caused due to their mismanagement. I found it ironic that they sought to remove legitimate visitors (me) while not addressing the guests that continued to smoke in the hotel despite the law.”

• The shower had good water pressure yet didn't beat down on you.
• Advertise Starbuck's coffee but only for thrid shifters?

“The sleep number beds were a nice touch, but didn't always adjust to the number we wanted. The hotel advertises 'proudly serving Starbuck's coffee' but not to their guests, apparently. When I asked the bellman about continental breakfast he said we'd have to be down there at 4am. Come on! Who gets up at that time? So, if we wanted breakfast we had to pay for it. Not even complimentary coffee. Sad.”

“Shuttle service (15 minutes) from O'Hare, every 1/2 hour round the clock. Combined with trains downtown, would serve well even for a general Chicago trip. Spotless room, very nice toiletries, great bed.”

• Forgot to ask for a non-smoking room, but that was my fault.

• Very displeased with airport shuttle waited over 1 hr for ride back t o hotel.

“The overall hotel was very nice, but the airport shuttle was a disappointment. The shuttle wait was over an hour, we were told 30 min. tops. The shuttle driver was very rude, because we called the hotel to inquire about his arrival. We were also disappointed that we were charged for keeping our car at the hotel, others are free.”
