“The hotel was a pain when it came to parking. You could park there for 45 dollars, which is outrageous so I had to drive an extra 5 miles down the road following confusing signs, to the economy parking lot, and take a shuttle back to the hotel to even check in. The tiles in the bathroom were dirty and looked to have never been scrubbed and the wall was pulling away from the floor in one corner of the room. Not sure what would cause that damage. The bed was comfortable, but for a 4 star hotel it was by far the worst one I have ever stayed.” Aug 6, 2008 by
Cain from Linton, IN
“Room was very nice, comfortable bed. Nice 42 inch TV, but no HD programming. $30 for parking was a little steep for my taste.” Aug 6, 2008 by
Jeffrey from Troy, MI
“They have horrible parking. Valet was full and hotel had no bellhops I could find. Valet attendant instructed me to park in the airport parking structure. It was a 1/2 mile walk and cost me $24 to park there. They definitely have a parking problem. Room was clean and furnished nice, but by no means was a four star hotel. the room was very small and the bathroom so small you could not open the door all the way. It hit the toilet! Hotel restaurant was very pricey. $19 for a simple two egg breakfast, $4 for coffee.” Aug 5, 2008 by
Deanna from Deforest, WI
“Family friendly to the point of having lots of toys in the pool. The staff was great. The only drawback was lack of places to eat. The only places in the hotel were fancy, expensive and the service was terrible. A more casual, family friendly restaurant would be nice.” Aug 5, 2008 by
A. W. from New Wilimington, PA
“The exercise room was outstanding, the pool area was designed for children which is alright but anybody was not playing. The available games in pool seemed like 5th wheel. When anyone entered the pool the families felt they had to get out of the way. The depth of pool was 3 & 4 feet with net over it for volley ball and other things to throw things at or in. The hot tub was nice but for an adult there alone that was all that was available. Great place for kids and parents tough the pool are. The rooms seemed real small. We had two double beds and barely room to walk in room and beds so tight against the wall that my husband apnea machine had nowhere to set by the available plug. I hated the huge alcohol keeper in the room, the space could have been better utilized. Big screen TV was nice. The easy car was very crowded on the one area they had it. The whole room had the squeezed in feeling. Climate control was great. The parking is a huge problem seems they should have an agreement with the airport for a much lower rate for one night or free parking for guest of the Hilton. That was really bad. Summer time is not bad to go to one of the out lots but winter would be brutal to find parking.” Aug 5, 2008 by
Amy from Spokane, WA
“This hotel rates maximum on convenience. There is no convenience greater than a nice airport hotel when you are on an international trip. This hotel was clean, very nice rooms, and the TV was fantastic. The room service needs improvement as the food is very low quality. The staff was a nice welcome back to the US, with friendly and professional service. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and plan to stay there again.” Aug 5, 2008 by
Robin from Decatur, GA

“Hotel was very nice, room was clean and comfortable. You can save some money by parking in the airport lots ($9 instead of 45).” Jul 31, 2008 by
Phillip from Normal, IL
“Great service, efficient, wonderful room/bed, great facilities on site/clean.” Jul 30, 2008 by
Thomas from Grand Forks, ND
“The Hilton O'Hare is extremely convenient, being located directly across from Terminal 2 and easily accessible from all terminals via the tram system. You simply can't beat it's convenience; within 10 minutes of checking out of the hotel, we were checked in for our flight. The hotel is a bit dated now, but many rooms have been renovated. The staff was very welcoming and friendly.” Jul 30, 2008 by
James from Burlington, KY
“I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. Even though we were right at the airport I did not hear the planes taking off or landing. Access to mass transit was super easy!” Jul 25, 2008 by
Dave from Pleasant Lake, IN
“Had a great time and it was fairly convenient to the all state Arena, where we attended a concert.” Jul 25, 2008 by
Patrick from Highland, MI
“Remodeled rooms very nice and comfortable.” Jul 24, 2008 by
David from Edinburgh, IN
“Overall was good, the location inside the airport was not very convenient.” Jul 24, 2008 by
Mark from Bellevue, NE
“Found difficult getting in & out of hotel since located in OHare airport. Too much traffic. Gym use and internet access all cost extra fees and parking at $45 a day. Overall stay was good but I would not recommend.” Jul 24, 2008 by
Debbie from Sumter, SC
“The room was so small and had no refrigerator, which most hotels that I've stayed in have at least had a small one. The hotel itself was nice, but I specifically did not select an area close to the O'Hare airport. We had to wait in line to check in for an hour and had to pay $45 parking for our rental car for one night.” Jul 23, 2008 by
Kelly from Decatur, IL
“It's location and amenities appeal to a very limited set of travelers. The hotel's casual dining restaurant was overpriced (about $14 for a salad) and there were no other nearby restaurants -- unless you took a tram to Terminal 5 in O'Hare airport and then there were only fast food options. The business center charged by the minute for internet service. The walls of the hotel were so thin that it sounded like people in adjacent rooms and the hall were in the room with you. It was very disconcerting to be in the bath and think you hear someone in your room! The isolation of the hotel (it is the only hotel located within O'Hare), the lack of affordable dining and the absence of convenient parking makes it a poor for most travelers.” Jul 23, 2008 by
John from Metuchen, NJ
“This is a typical airport hotel. The good news is that it is close to the airport. Costs for food were very high, rooms were basic, elevators were slow and the hotel needs a makeover. It's a business hotel, yet it lacked WiFi or other amenities a business traveler needs. They even charge to use the fitness center and a cup of coffee and juice cost about $14.” Jul 21, 2008 by
Ed from Scottsdale, AZ
“Overall the price was well worth the stay at the hotel.” Jul 17, 2008 by
Lisa from Sarnia, ON CA
“Very nice, clean; all amenities. Far from downtown if looking to site see in city. Excellent transportation and accessibility to CTA. Expensive daily parking rate.” Jul 11, 2008 by
Amanda from Winston-Salem, NC
“This hotel is perfect for business travelers staying a very short amount of time. Very convenient as far as being inside of the airport, but really taxing having to travel about an hour to get into town.” Jul 7, 2008 by
Corey from Eagan, MN
“This hotel is for business travel only.” Jul 3, 2008 by
Jennifer from Litchfield, IL
“The hotel was nice, the bed was awesome. Traffic, but the room was nice.” Jul 3, 2008 by
Betty from Southfield, MI
“The hotel is luxurious, convenient, clean and the top of the line. I would recommend it to my friends.” Jul 2, 2008 by
James from Mahomet, IL
“This hotel worked perfectly for our needs, the grounds and rooms were meticulously clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, but we steered clear of the restaurant, just a bit too high for us.” Jun 15, 2008 by
Bart from Minneapolis, MN
“Convenient location with predictable facility/rooms. Restaurants were overpriced and the service in the restaurants was below average for the prices charged.” Jun 15, 2008 by
Art from Pittsburgh, PA
“Convenient location at the airport across from the United Terminal.” Jun 8, 2008 by
James from Normal, IL
“Above average to excellent.” Jun 5, 2008 by
Rhonda from Janesville, IA
“Housekeeping arrived on the floor each morning at 8:00 am. They constantly slammed doors for 30 minutes or so loading up their carts with supplies. The air conditioner never quite cooled the room off. The restaurant in the hotel was very overpriced for the quality of the food and the service was extremely slow.” Jun 5, 2008 by
Jen from Cincinnati, OH
“We wee pleased with the hotel the first night of stay but after housekeeping came, things changed. My pajamas were on the bed which led to them being taken to laundry, never to be seen again. No reimbursement was offered by the hotel. Housekeeping also failed to replenish some needed items and after asking for them specifically with that department, they still were not delivered. Our view of Hilton Hotels was lowered after this visit.” Jun 5, 2008 by
J. R. from Cleveland, OH
“The hotel has been beautifully rehabilitated. The furniture and decor is new, fresh, comfortable, practical, and of very good quality. The beds are practically comfortable. Rooms contain HDTV. Carpet is clean. Service is excellent and the staff friendly and responsive. Excellent value. Conveniently connected to O'Hara Airport (about a 3 minute walk to terminal). Only negative, parking is $45 a day or $11 per hour.” Jun 4, 2008 by
Chris from Annandale, VA
“Great location. It ticks me off though that they charge guests to use their own health club!” Jun 4, 2008 by
Toby from Beavercreek, OH
“Overall, hotel was nice. It is not 4 star. Hotel is literally connected to O'Hare terminals, which I did not know. Beds were pretty comfortable, but every decent hotel has nice bedding these days. Granite countertops, nice towels and linens, and LCD TVs are all nice touches. However, selection of channels was limited and if you don't have an HD signal, the LCDs are pretty much worthless anyway. Staff was not friendly at all- from the woman who checked us in to everyone else we encountered. The bellman did get me a luggage cart to use at checkout, which was very helpful and appreciated. Other than that, no one else was helpful. Also, you can hear planes taking off and landing, but it is faint- you would have to be a light sleeper for the noise to disturb you. Lastly, the train is very convenient to the hotel- just walk inside the airport. However, it takes a minimum of 50 minutes to get into the city, and can regularly be 90 min. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights, they do maintenance on the tracks (not sure how long this will last)- so if you are on the train, they make you get off, get on a shuttle bus which takes you to the next stop. Annoying. Took us about two hours to get back to the hotel from the city that night. This is not the fault of the hotel, but it is ridiculously inconvenient.” Jun 3, 2008 by
Melissa from Tacoma, WA
“Hotel is beautiful and rooms are nice. Being able to walk to the terminal is priceless. The check in process ruined my first impression.” May 30, 2008 by
Crystal from Seattle, WA
“Great for the location.” May 29, 2008 by
Amanda from Reno, NV
“Great hotel! Fabulous hotel. Parking was more than half of the room rate which about killed me.” May 26, 2008 by
Craig from Jefferson City, MO
“Nice if you have to stay at the airport, but not nice for anyone else.” May 23, 2008 by
Lisa from Avon, IN
“We checked in, and were given a room in which the plumbing was being worked on- and it was very messy. We got our new room, and it wasn't what we expected. The bathroom was small, the TV had limited channels, and the location was very inconvenient for us since we were not traveling via plane. We had to pay for parking. I would not recommend this hotel unless you are flying out of O'Hare.” May 22, 2008 by
Marvis from St. Louis, MO
“I like this hotel a lot in what they offered other than a swimming pool which I can understand. It was really geared toward business travelers but met our needs for the convention center. They didnt have a shuttle but other shuttles were available right across the street as well as alternative parking.” May 22, 2008 by
Ed from Toronto, ON CA
“Pros: If you are traveling in and out of OHare, excellent hotel to stay in. Half way between Chicago and Woodsfield (for shopping) Neg: you have to take taxi, limo or rent a car to go anywhere, which is expensive.” May 22, 2008 by
Deb from Franksville, WI
“The hotel was nice, clean, very comfortable bed and bedding. The self check-in did not work. The room was smaller than I imagined for a 4 star, especially the bathroom. The food at the bar & grill was WAY over-priced and crummy. We split a muffalotta sandwich (couldn't afford a whole one) and it was little better than a bologna sandwich I make at home!” May 21, 2008 by
Mike from Germantown, TN
“Very convenient to airline travelers. Long but easy Subway ride into town. The restaurant had a lot of empty tables, but was still slow to seat us and get service.” May 21, 2008 by
Melanie from Aubrey, TX
“The hotel was very nice. The beds and linens were the most comfortable we have experienced. The bathtub and bathroom were very small and could be upgraded for a Hilton. I don't understand charging hotel guests for wireless internet service. Also, charging $50 for parking to hotel guests is crazy. At least it would seem more fair. Otherwise, the stay was great and everything was very good.” May 17, 2008 by
Chris from Columbus, OH
“Ideal location for anyone in the north part of Chicago. 300 feet from the CTA Blue Line station. Perfect for conventions at Rosemont. Great hot dog stand in the LL concourse just outside the property.” May 15, 2008 by
Michael from Fitchburg, WI
“Very nicely maintained building in an excellent location for travelers. The room was a little small, but amenities made up for this deficit. The experience would be better if the parking garage were not $45/night!” May 12, 2008 by
Delbert from Cedar City, UT
“This hotel was nice, clean, and quiet. The location was not good for us because we spent most of our time Downtown. Another hassle was the elevators took an unusually long time to arrive. (Many other people commented on this while waiting.) Also, when we had guests come to our hotel, they were confused about where to self-park. It didn't help that we were located in the middle of the airport. So, it would be an excellent place to stay if you needed to catch a flight at O'Hare airport.” May 7, 2008 by
Laura from Shoreview, MN
“The hotel was ready to accommodate, however, I am now spoiled by free internet and missed it. Having to ask for a $0.75 deduction on the bill if I didn't want the US Today newspaper seemed odd. It is a beautiful place to stay and the location to O'Hare was great.” May 6, 2008 by
Sherry from Cincinnati, OH
“Overall, very good experience. Had some noisy people in the room next door and the hotel staff addressed it immediately. Parking cost $45.00/day at the hotel however I parked at a long term parking facility which had a convenient shuttle service and cost $10.00/day.” May 5, 2008 by
Ed from Indianapolis, IN
“No parking. Valley is $45/night. Remote/long term parking is $16/night and comes with a 5 mile train commute and a nearly a mile walk for a total of 20 minutes plus just to get to the car.” May 4, 2008 by
Kelly from Plymouth, MI
“I did not like that I had to pay 11 dollars to use the gym/pool. I would expect that these amenities would be included in an "upscale" hotel.” Hotel Representatives:
