Lori from North Aurora, IL
“Simply the best place to stay for early O'Hare departures, as it is inside the airport. All you do is walk to the gates, without ever going outside. Deserves it is 5 star rating!” Sep 4, 2008 by
Jon from Missori City, MO
“Great room. New Plasma TV. Surprisingly quiet.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Benjamin from Normal, IL
“Hidden cost for over night parking is $ 45 a night.” Sep 4, 2008 by
Jay from Gainesville, FL
“The hotel was pretty good all around. The train was accessible just downstairs. The train can be taken into the city in about 40 minutes. Parking was still 45 bucks despite being an airport hotel. The shower head pressure was too low.” Sep 3, 2008 by
Tyler from Berkeley, CA
“The hotel was great. I wish there was free internet and not including parking was a huge pain and a huge cost. Parking should be included and provided. The room was nice and comfortable and served its purpose.” Sep 3, 2008 by
Michael from Horn Lake, MS
“This is at the O'Hare airport. Bad thing is there is really nothing else around. You'll need a car if using this hotel during your stay in town. bad is having to pay $45 a night for valet and have that being your best option. The bathroom is really small. Had to raise the toilet seat just to get the door all the way open. We had an even numbered room that faced the airport. Nice watching the plane traffic. It seemed so close, its a nice hotel.” Sep 2, 2008 by
P from Troy, MI
“Everything is good except the comfort. The comfort is too thick. If we use the comfort, it's too hot. If we don't use it, it's too cold because of air condition.” Aug 29, 2008 by
Mary J. from North Fond Du Lac, WI
“Rooms were very comfortable and clean and the staffs were very accommodating. We did not notice any air traffic noise, just the sound of the air conditioning. The beds were very comfortable with down coverlets.” Aug 28, 2008 by
John from Lexington, KY
“Other than location this hotel offered little.” Aug 19, 2008 by
Cathy from Appleton, WI
“We were very disappointed with the of hotel. We ended up paying $30 for parking and we not happy.” Aug 19, 2008 by
Tony from Leeds, CA
“Nice enough with good, clean rooms. Everything else is extra. Replacing tea/coffee, Internet, no free newspaper. Food outlets are expensive.” Aug 17, 2008 by
Barbara from Muscle Shoals, AL
“Room was very clean and staff was very friendly. Also, even though located at O'Hare Airport, very quiet. However, parking was very inconvenient (no hotel parking.) Valet parking and airport parking only. Would not stay there again because of the parking.” Aug 15, 2008 by
Nicole(Ting) from Saint Paul, MN
“Hilton at O'Hare airport is very convenient for people who travel to Chicago by flights. The room is very clean and equipped with 42" TV. However, there is no refrigerator was available to cool our meals and drinks in the room. So we have to bring our own cooler to the hotel. This is the one thing annoying. Also, the valet parking ($45/day) and airport parking ($30/day) are so expensive. This is out of our expectation.” Aug 15, 2008 by
Tom from Prosper, TX
“I have stayed at the Hilton O'Hare previously. The bellman was very helpful with everything that I needed: taxi, airline check-in, directions, room cleaning (I did not leave my room until late). I wonder if the front desk staff could tie their shoes without written instructions.” Aug 15, 2008 by
Rodney from San Antonio, TX
“The hotel was great; the only thing was the price of a cup of coffee 4.00 you can walk less than 2 min to Airport and by for has the price. Other than that I was very happy with this hotel.” Aug 14, 2008 by
Karen from Menifee, CA
“This hotel is literally within the confines of O'Hare Airport. Advantages - you simply take the lower level of the hotel and you can go right to the train, airport, etc. Being that close to the airport you would think that you would have heard some plane noise but there was none - sound proofing is excellent! The room was clean, well arranged and very accommodating. Disadvantages - There are really no nearby restaurants or other shopping areas within walking distance so you are forced to use public transportation. The valet parking is $45 per night which is just crazy! The room is very comfortable, however, there is no microwave, no refrigerator. So as long as you are looking for comfort, cleanliness, with no frills luxury this is a fantastic hotel!” Aug 14, 2008 by
Steve from Grand Rapids, MI
“Clean & nice looking, huge in-room flat screen TVs, well kept bathroom. The restaurants are pretty expensive but they did have a coffee stand with reasonably priced snacks. The rooms were small, but comfortable. Check in took forever and the quick check in terminals weren't working. The pool and work out facilities were exceptional. Internet costs was $13 per day.” Aug 14, 2008 by
Juli from Niles, MI
“Very nice. Modern decor. Convenient to get on CTA into the city. I expected to hear planes but never heard even one. Very happy.” Aug 13, 2008 by
Juan from Peoria, IL
“You will like this hotel if you: 1. Live in the North Pole and are use to cold weather not to mention getting a cold because of this. 2. Love paying for a $65 meal and being treated like trash. 3. Have a flight out of O'Hare early in the morning.” Aug 13, 2008 by
Jimmie from Charlotte, NC
“The hotel was fine, helpful staff. The room was clean with a flat screen TV. Room was a little small though. The main reason I don't like this hotel so because of the distance from the convention center, I prefer to stay in the hotels adjacent to the event. If that is not an issue, I would advise anyone to stay at this hotel solid all the way around!” Aug 13, 2008 by
Jane P. from Ft. Wayne, IN
“That Hilton is really meant for air travelers. And we were just trying to find a place in Chicago while visiting our daughter for a baby shower! Our floor carpeting was fine. But my sister who I got the other room for complained that the carpet was filthy in their hallway.” Aug 13, 2008 by
Rani from East Brunswick, NJ
“The hotel is very convenient for business travelers. It is right in the airport and the "L" (which runs all night) is also convenient to get in and out of Chicago. The room was very comfortable, quiet and relaxing. The bathroom was very small. Travelers beware there is a $25 early check in fee for check in before 2pm.” Aug 12, 2008 by
E from Carmel, IN
“Exceeded my expectations. Airport location is perfect, as you can walk to Terminal 2 or the subway. Rooms are modernized, with new bathrooms, bed and TV. I had a 10th floor window view of the planes landing, but was surprisingly quiet.” Aug 12, 2008 by
Myron from Denver, NC
“Superb location, clean, comfortable bed, great TV, bathroom is too small.” Aug 12, 2008 by
Paul from Chatham, IL
“Very nice hotel and was a friendly and comfortable place to stay.” Aug 12, 2008 by
John from Eden Prairie, MN
“It is an average hotel with an excellent location.” Aug 12, 2008 by
Amanda from Washington, DC
“Convenient to O'Hare with a great fitness center, the Hilton gives you everything you need after a long flight. Our flat-screen TV and shower with great water pressure made us feel at home. The concierge helped us find Chicago deep dish and called us when the pizza arrived.” Aug 12, 2008 by
John from Brookings, OR
“Much better than an airport lounge, and a nice place to spend a layover, but not a full 4 star experience. A bit weak on the details.” Aug 12, 2008 by
Freda from Birmingham, AL
“The room was clean, comfortable and sound proof for an airport property. The amenities were great and I loved the large flat screen TV. The registration desk staff bordered on incompetent.” Aug 11, 2008 by
Anas from Villa Park, IL
“Too much charge for the phone calls.” Aug 10, 2008 by
Julie from Radford, VA
“After checking into the hotel and getting the key to our room, we got the elevator to the 7th floor to find out that someone else was already in the room that they had given us. We had to haul all of our luggage back down to the front desk and get another room. Then we tried every floor in the hotel trying to get a drink from a drink machine. After giving up and ordering for room service, it took 1 and 1/2 hours for room service to deliver 2 cokes. Just before getting into bed, our toilet will not flush and we have to get a maintenance person to come and again we have to wait another 1/2 hour. This is not a hotel that I would want to stay in again.” Aug 10, 2008 by
Brent from Williamsville, NY
“Pay to use fitness center, pay for internet, and pay to park is ridiculous. The room service was horrible. Concierge was very helpful, train close and it was an okay experience. I would rate 5 out of 10.” Aug 8, 2008 by
Michael from Akron, OH
“Quality hotel for the price. Convenient access to the hotel and very quiet considering it is an airport hotel. I would stay here again.” Aug 7, 2008 by
Michael from Omaha, NE
“Great spot if you need to be around O'Hare. I however commuted to the city daily via the train which took an hour to and hour and a half due to construction going on throughout the line. The room was decent, nice bed, nice TV, decent bathroom (although small). The restaurants are overpriced and horrible. $30 for a breakfast buffet? Please $12 a day for internet? Really?” Aug 7, 2008 by
Cris from North Salt Lake, UT
“It was a great stay.” Aug 7, 2008 by
Natasha from Cordova, TN
“The hotel was very well decorated and had excellent amenities such as full gym, multiple restaurants/bars, connected to the airport via tunnel, extra soft beds, plasma TV, and nice soap giveaways. Also, awesome view if staying in an odd-numbered hotel room. Odd numbers you can see planes taking off, landing, and the Chicago Skyline. Even-numbers you only see the airport and highway.” Aug 7, 2008 by
Eric from Galesburg, IL
“Decent hotel in the O'Hare airport complex. Traffic and parking can be an issue.” Aug 7, 2008 by
Alfredo from Muskegon, MI
“It is a good hotel, but everything is very expensive since it is right at the airport.” Aug 7, 2008 by
John from Milwaukee, WI
“Only real minus was we asked for foam pillows and explained it was due to allergies. Pillows were removed but staff left the feather comforter.” Aug 7, 2008 by
Chris from South Lyon, MI
“Hotel itself is nice but there was no 2 beds room when I had the whole family including 2 children. I had to sleep on roll-away bed.” Aug 7, 2008 by
Robert from Abingdon, IL
“The hotel was a pain when it came to parking. You could park there for 45 dollars, which is outrageous so I had to drive an extra 5 miles down the road following confusing signs, to the economy parking lot, and take a shuttle back to the hotel to even check in. The tiles in the bathroom were dirty and looked to have never been scrubbed and the wall was pulling away from the floor in one corner of the room. Not sure what would cause that damage. The bed was comfortable, but for a 4 star hotel it was by far the worst one I have ever stayed.” Aug 6, 2008 by
Cain from Linton, IN
“Room was very nice, comfortable bed. Nice 42 inch TV, but no HD programming. $30 for parking was a little steep for my taste.” Aug 6, 2008 by
Jeffrey from Troy, MI
“They have horrible parking. Valet was full and hotel had no bellhops I could find. Valet attendant instructed me to park in the airport parking structure. It was a 1/2 mile walk and cost me $24 to park there. They definitely have a parking problem. Room was clean and furnished nice, but by no means was a four star hotel. the room was very small and the bathroom so small you could not open the door all the way. It hit the toilet! Hotel restaurant was very pricey. $19 for a simple two egg breakfast, $4 for coffee.” Aug 5, 2008 by
Deanna from Deforest, WI
“Family friendly to the point of having lots of toys in the pool. The staff was great. The only drawback was lack of places to eat. The only places in the hotel were fancy, expensive and the service was terrible. A more casual, family friendly restaurant would be nice.” Aug 5, 2008 by
A. W. from New Wilimington, PA
“The exercise room was outstanding, the pool area was designed for children which is alright but anybody was not playing. The available games in pool seemed like 5th wheel. When anyone entered the pool the families felt they had to get out of the way. The depth of pool was 3 & 4 feet with net over it for volley ball and other things to throw things at or in. The hot tub was nice but for an adult there alone that was all that was available. Great place for kids and parents tough the pool are. The rooms seemed real small. We had two double beds and barely room to walk in room and beds so tight against the wall that my husband apnea machine had nowhere to set by the available plug. I hated the huge alcohol keeper in the room, the space could have been better utilized. Big screen TV was nice. The easy car was very crowded on the one area they had it. The whole room had the squeezed in feeling. Climate control was great. The parking is a huge problem seems they should have an agreement with the airport for a much lower rate for one night or free parking for guest of the Hilton. That was really bad. Summer time is not bad to go to one of the out lots but winter would be brutal to find parking.” Aug 5, 2008 by
Amy from Spokane, WA
“This hotel rates maximum on convenience. There is no convenience greater than a nice airport hotel when you are on an international trip. This hotel was clean, very nice rooms, and the TV was fantastic. The room service needs improvement as the food is very low quality. The staff was a nice welcome back to the US, with friendly and professional service. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and plan to stay there again.” Aug 5, 2008 by
Robin from Decatur, GA
“Na.” Aug 2, 2008 by
Willis from St Louis, MO
“Hotel was very nice, room was clean and comfortable. You can save some money by parking in the airport lots ($9 instead of 45).” Jul 31, 2008 by
Phillip from Normal, IL
“Great service, efficient, wonderful room/bed, great facilities on site/clean.” Jul 30, 2008 by
Thomas from Grand Forks, ND
“The Hilton O'Hare is extremely convenient, being located directly across from Terminal 2 and easily accessible from all terminals via the tram system. You simply can't beat it's convenience; within 10 minutes of checking out of the hotel, we were checked in for our flight. The hotel is a bit dated now, but many rooms have been renovated. The staff was very welcoming and friendly.”
